AFTER ENGINE START AND WITH EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH IN ARM SOME OF THE CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. MOVING SWITCH TO OFF DID NOT EXTINGUISH THE LIGHTS. A COUPLE CEILING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED AND DOOR STEP LIGHTS. EXIT SIGNS WERE NOT ILLUMINATED. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACED EMERGENCY BATTERIES IAW EMB-505S AMM 33-52-1 OPS CHECK GOOD
GEA 2 FAIL WHITE CAS: DURING CRUISE FLIGHT AT FL410 WE RECEIVED A WHITE GEA 2 FAIL CAS. THIS WAS ACCOMPANIED BY YELLOW E2 FUEL IMP BYPASS, YELLOW A-I E1 FAIL, WHITE FUEL2 FEED FAULT, AND WHITE ENG NO DISPATCH. ALL SYNOPTIC SCREENS SHOWED MULTIPLE FAILED EQUIPMENT WITH YELLOW X INDICATION. RIGHT MAIN GEAR SHOWED RED BOX TRANSITION INDICATION. TRIM INDICATIONS WERE FAILED, AS WELL AS E2 OIL AND FUEL FLOW INDICATIONS. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACED GEA #2 IAW EMB-505 AMM 31-41-03. OPS CHECK GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: AFTER TURNING OFF EMER LIGHT SWITCH IN COCKPIT, AND TURNING THE BATTERIES OFF, THE CABIN EMER LIGHTS CONTINUED TO STAY ON. PERFORMED ,LIGHT CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY OPERATIONAL LIGHTS IAW AMM CHAPTER 33-52-00. NO FAULT DISCREPANCIES NOTED
BRK FAIL YELLOW CAS: ON TAXI, YELLOW BRAKE FAIL MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. NEITHER PILOTS BRAKES WERE OPERATIONAL WITH THE CAS ILLUMINATED. HAD TO USE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP AIRCRAFT FROM TAXIING. REMOVED "FAULTY" BRAKE CONTROL MODULE DAP00101-02 SN 019RK AND INSTALLED A "REPAIRED" UNIT PN: DAP00101-02. SN 75LP. BLED SYSTEM AND PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECK. AS A PERCAUTION, PERFORMED TAXI CHECK WITH NO FAULTS OR DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IN REFERENCE TO EMB AMM 32-41-07. LEAK CHECK AND OPS CHECK FOUND TO BE SATISFACTORY AT THIS TIME.

EXCESSIVE FORCE REQUIRED ON BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR HANDLES TO LOCK MAIN CABIN DOOR. DOOR SEAL RECENTLY REPLACED AND STIFF SO YOU HAVE TO PULL DOOR IN AND LATCH ON BOTH SIDES .. LUBRICATED ENGAGEMENT PINS, DOOR MECHANISM WORKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. IAW EMBRAER PHENOM 300 AMM 52-11-21, 52-11-23

EMERG EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: ENTRY DOOR LOWER SIDEWALL EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT IS INOP. REMOVED LOWER EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN LIGHT AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED "NEW" EXIT IDENTIFIER, OPS CHECK GOOD. ALL WORK DONE IAW AMM 33-52-13.
FORWARD EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY FAILED THE FUNCTIONAL TEST IN ACCORDANCE WITH PHENOM 300 AMM 33-52-01, BATTERY FAILED AT 15:35 SECONDS AT 20VDC. PASSING TIME IS 22 MIN AT 20VDC. PERFORMED REPLACEMENT #1 FORWARD EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY WITH A NEW BATTERY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PHENOM 300 AMM CHAPTER 33-52-01. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PHENOM 300 AMM CHAPTER 33-52-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
MAIN DOOR MAKES A LOUD "SNUBBING" SOUND UPON OPENING AND CLOSING. STOPS MOVEMENT IN 2 POSITIONS (SEE PHOTOS). CAN BE FORCED OPEN/CLOSED IF YOU MOVE IT HARD ENOUGH AND START THE MOTION OUT FAST, BUT DEFINITELY STRONGER THAN NORMAL FORCES ARE NEEDED AND FROM THE INSIDE AND YOU NEED TO FORCE IT DOWN WITH YOUR FEET IF YOU DO IT AT NORMAL SPEED. THE FORCES AND SPEED REQUIRED TO OPEN/CLOSE THE DOOR MAY CAUSE FURTHER DAMAGE AT THE BOTTOM WHEN OPENING AS IT HAS TO BE SLAMMED DOWN. CORRECTIVE ACTION: INSPECTED DOOR INTERNAL MECHANISMS AND FOUND NO DEFECTS. COMPLETED CHECK OF MAIN ENTRY DOOR OPENING SPEED, IAW EMBRAER PHENOM 300 AMM TASK 25-10-00-820-804-A. DOOR SPEED WAS FOUND TO BE ACCEPTABLE IN OPENING AND CLOSING. VERIFIED LENGTH OF THE HOISTING ROD TO BE, IAW EMBRAER PHONOM 300 AMM TASK 52-10-00-820-801-A. VISUAL INSPECTION OF ASSIST REEL SHOWS NO OBVIOUS DAMAGE OR EXCESSIVE WEAR. FOUND FWD AND AFT TELESCOPING RODS BINDING ON EXTEND AND RETRACT. REPLACED BOTH FWD AND AFT TELESCOPING RODS WITH NEW CONDITION PARTS, IAW EMBRAER PHENOM 300 AMM 52-12- TASK 52-12-25-400-801-A. DOOR OPERATIONS CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME.
FLAP FAIL YELLOW CAS ILLUMINATED - WHILE DESCENDING THROUGH FL270 CAS CAUTION ILLUMINATED YELLOW "SWPS FAULT","FLAP FAIL","PTRIM BKP FAIL" AND A WHITE "SPOILER FAULT". THE AUTO PILOT WAS UNAVAILABLE AS WAS EXPECTED. PRIMARY TRIM WAS WORKING, WITH NO TRIM INDICATION THOUGH. RAN ALL ASSOCIATED CHECKLISTS. ALL REMAINED ILLUMINATED THROUGH LANDING AND TAXI TO SHUTDOWN. DID A ZERO FLAP LANDED. // SIGNOFF // COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. PERFORMED CMC DOWNLOAD AND SENT DOWNLOADS TO COMMAND CENTER FOR REVIEW. EMBRAER COMMAND CENTER SUGGESTED TO PERFORM FIM-4885- 27-36-00-810-816-A, ALL CHECKS SATISFACTORY. PERFORMED DETAILED VISUAL INSPECTION OF IASP NO.1, NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. PER CONTACT CENTER RECOMMENDATIONS PERFORMED SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE IASP HEATING SYSTEM IAW EMB 505 AMM TASK 30-30-00-710-801-A/500 AND OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE ADS IAW EMB505 AMM TASK 34-1~00-710-801-A/500.NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED AT THIS TIME.
