SEAT 6 CABIN READING LIGHT SWITCH: CABIN READING SWITCH ON SEAT 6 WAS EXTREMELY HOT DURING FLIGHT. CORRECTIVE ACTION; FOUND COFFEE STAIN SPOTS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CUP HOLDER ADJACENT TO THE READING LIGHT SWITCH. REMOVED AND REPLACED #6 SEAT READING LIGHT WITH NEW SWITCH UNIT, MX PERFORMED IAW EMB-505S AMM MPP 33-25-00-710-801-A, 33-25-01/400. OPS CHECKED READING FOR A PERIOD OF 1.5 HRS OF CONTINOUS USE AND NOTED NO CONCENTRATED HEAT SOAKING OF SWITCH POD.
DURING ENGINE START WITH THE EMERG LIGHTS ARMED WE RECEIVED A YELLOW CAS MESSAGE FOR EMERG LIGHTS NOT ARMED WHEN IN FACT THE WERE ARMED. THE CAS MESSAGE WENT AWAY AND AFTER LANDING OUR PASSENGER TOLD US THAT THE EMERG LIGHTS WERE FLASHING ALSO THE LINES MAN SAID THE OUTSIDE EMERG LIGHTS WERE FLASHING. PERFORMED OP TESTS. FOUND THE FORWARD #1 BATTERY FAILED/WEAK ANO WILL NOT CHARGE. R & R FWD #1 EMERGENCY BATTERY WITH A REPAIRED UNIT. PERFORMED EMERGENCY LIGHTS OPS TEST. EMERGENCY LIGHTS OPS TESTED GOOD. PERFORMED EMERGENCY BATTERY RECHARGE PROCEDURE FOR 90 MINUTES. EMERGENCY LIGHTS DO NOT FLASH & NO CAS MESSAGES ILLUMINATED IAW 33-52-01.

CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED WITH SWITCH IN ARM POSITION. WHILE ON BATTEY POWER & DURING ENG STARTS, EMERGENCY LIGHT NOT ARM CASS MESSAGE DISPLAYED WITH SWITCH IS IN ARM POSITION. WITH A GPU OR GENERATOR ONLINE CASS MESSAGE WILL EXTINGISH BUT CABIN LIGHTS REMAIN ON. REPLACED BATTERY IAW MM 33·52-01. OP CHECKED GOOD.
MAIN DOOR VISUAL INDICATOR: FLAG WINDOW NEAR CHUTE BOLT WINDOW OBSCURED. CAN NOT SEE INSIDE. REMOVED THE MAIN ENTRV DOOR STEPS ACCESS THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOW. FOUND · THE MOISTURE BARRIER INSIDE THE DOOR WAS SHIFTED PARTIALLV BLOCKING THE WINDOW. REPOSITIONED THE BARRIER AWAY FROM THE WINDOW. INSTALLED THE DOOR STEPS AND THE DOOR OPS CHECK IS SATISFACTORY. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW WITH AMM 52-14-00.
WHILE COMPLYING WITH EMBAER SB 505-55-0004 FOUND THE FOLLOWING, FLIGHT CONTROL BALANCE WEIGHTS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND REQUIRING REPLACEMENT. THREE RT ELEVATOR ADJUSTABLE BALANCE WEIGHTS P/N PE915109-L33 AND TWO LT ELEVATOR ADJUSTABLE BALANCE WEIGHTS P/N PE915109-L33.
SEVERAL AREAS OF CORROSION LOCATED ON THE NLG AREA, DISCOVERED DURING SCHEDULED INSPECTION. REMOVE CORROSION FROM LT MLG DOOR STRIKE PLATE AND TREATED STEEL ALLOY IAW SRM 51-13-23 51-21-23.
RIGHT MLG GREEN INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT AT FL410, 30 MINUTES AFTER TAKEOFF. NO SIGNIFICANT WEATHER AT ALTITUDE. COCKPIT LIGHTS WERE TESTED BUT GREEN LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. AFTER 45 MINUTES AT CRUISE, COCKPIT LIGHTS WERE ADJUSTED FOR NIGHT FLIGHT AND THEN THE GREEN GEAR LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. LANDING GEAR EXTENSION WAS NORMAL AND A NORMAL LANDING WAS PERFORMED. JACKED ACFT. PERFORMED VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE RT MLG AREA FOUND NO DEFECTS. PERFORMED GEAR SWINGS. NO DEFECTS NOTED. REMOVED CONNECTOR ON RT MLG SIDE BRACE ACTUATOR DOWNLOCK SWITCH. FOUND THE MALE AND FEMALE ENDS OF THE PLUG SATURATED WITH MOISTURE INSIDE THE PLUG. CLEANED AND REINSTALLED. PERFORMED GEAR SWING. NO DEFECTS NOTED. NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED AT THIS TIME. WORK PERFORMED IAW GIV MSG3 AMM 32-00-00. DOWN JACKED ACFT.

ALL LEFT AND RIGHT ELEVATOR ATTACH HARDWARE CORRODED AND PITTED. ALL LEFT AND RIGHT ELEVATOR HINGE FITTINGS CORRODED IN BORES.
