ENGINE REMOVED FOR A NR 5 BEARING UPGRADE. THE NR 5 BEARING EXHIBITS SPALLING AT SPLIT. INSTALLED A NEW BEARING.
ENGINE REMOVED 5-28-16 FOR REPAIR DUE TO TURBINE O/H AND 2000 HR INSPECTION. TURBINE NR 5 BEARING SPALLING ON OUTER RACE SPLIT. REPLACED WITH NEW NR 5 BEARING.
THE FRAME WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED AT AN EXISTING NUTPLATE INSTALLATION.
FORWARD ROOF SKIN WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED. OUTER AREA COMMON TO SERVO COWLING HINGE INSTALLATION. REPAIRED IAW THE APPROVED REPAIR DATA.
ENGINE REMOVED 4-9-15 FOR CHIP LIGHT ON LOWER CHIP PLUG. EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF METAL FLAKES. CAUSE FOUND TO BE GEARBOX PTO BALL BEARING. TURBINE NR 5 BEARING REMOVED FOR POSSIBLE SPALLING AT OUTER RACE SPLIT. INSTALLED NEW NR 5 BEARING.
ENGINE REMOVED 4-9-15 DUE TO METAL IN OIL. PTO BALL BEARING EXHIBITS SPALLING ON BALLS. REPLACED PTO BALL BEARING.
ENGINE REMOVED 1-19-15 FOR TURBINE OVERHAUL. NR 5 BEARING REMOVED DUE TO SPALLING ON BALLS. REPLACED BEARING. PART WILL BE RETURNED TO MFG FOR FURTHER EVALUATION.
