PHX MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE LEFT ENGINE, S/N P44209, AND FOUND A COMBUSTION CASE BLEED AIR PLUG GASKET, P/N 868746-6, BLOWN OUT AND LEAKING ALLOWING BLEED AIR TO BLOW ON THE FIRE DETECTOR. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE BLEED AIR GASKET WITH NEW, GROUND RUN OPS CHECK OK. LEFT ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHER LIGHT REMAINED EXTINGUISHED.

MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE LEFT ENGINE AND FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF A FIRE. THE INDIVIDUAL FIRE DETECTION SENSORS WERE INSPECTED AND THE TERMINALS WERE CLEANED AND REINSTALLED. THE FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL CHECKED OK. THERE WERE NO DISCREPANCIES REPORTED ON SUBSEQUENT FLIGHTS.

DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION IN MSP, MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FOUND THE RT OUTBOARD LOWER FORWARD WING SKIN-TO-NACELLE ATTACH ANGLE CRACKED. THEY STOP DRILLED THE CRACK AND FABRICATED AND INSTALLED A REPAIR DOUBLER IAW FAIRCHILD ARP 54-20-9101. (M)
