FAINT SMELL WAS DETECTED, BUT WAS TOLERABLE AND NO SMOKE WAS PRESENT. ELECTED TO BOARD AND RESUME FLIGHT. WHILE STILL ON GROUND THERE WAS NO SMOKE AND JUST A VERY LIGHT RESIDUAL ODOR. JUST PRIOR TO ACCELERATION SAME ODOR WAS DETECTED, BUT FAINTER THAN PREVIOUSLY EXPERIENCED ON GROUND. ONCE AGAIN IT DISSIPATED ENOUGH THAT CREW WAS COMFORTABLE CONTINUING THE FLIGHT. ON ARRIVAL, WHILE CONFIGURING AND BRINGING UP THRUST, THE SAME ODOR APPEARED. AFTER GATE ARRIVAL MX WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF FLIGHT EVENTS. MX PERFORMED ENGINE RUNS WITH NO ODOR NOTED IAW AMM 71-00-00. ALL OPS CHECKS GOOD.

DURING INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THAT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BRACKET HAD CRACKED ALLOWING THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND WIRING TO BECOME LOOSE IN THE AC CONTACTOR BOX. SUBMITTER STATES, THIS COULD CAUSE A SHORT CIRCUIT OF THE AFFECTED WIRING. A NEW BRACKET WAS FABRICATED AND INSTALLED ON FIELD AVIATION COMPANY WORK ORDER NR 21973.
DURING INSPECTION OF AIRCRAFT IT WAS NOTED THAT THE LEFT AND RIGHT MLG RETRACTION SUPPORT BRACKETS APPEARED TO HAVE A FRETTING CONDITION. THE BRACKETS WERE REMOVED AND INSPECTED IAW AD CF 91-25R2. POSSIBLE CRACK INDICATIONS WERE VERIFIED BY MPI. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THESE BRACKETS WERE PRE-MOD 8/2049 AND POST-MOD 8/1830 AND THAT MOD 8/1830 IS PART OF THE TERMINATING ACTION OF AD CF 91-25R2. BRACKETS WERE REPLACED PER MOD 8/2049 AND SB 8-54-34 ON FIELD AVIATION COMPANY WORK ORDER NR 21973.
