PERFORMED VISUAL INSPECTION OF #1 ENGINE FIRE DETECTION LOOP ROUTING AND CONDITION PER LEAR 45 AMM. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE ENGINE FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM PER LEAR 45 AMM. CLEANED CONNECTOR AT A37. COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY AT THIS TIME.
AFTER DEPARTURE AND DURING CLIMB "L ENG PYLON OVHT" ILLUMINATED IN RED ON CREW WARNING PANEL (CWP) AND IN RED ON CREW ALERTING SYSTEM (CAS). THE APPROPRIATE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES IN THE AIRPLANE FLIGHT MANUAL (ANTI-ICE TURNED OFF AND THRUST LEVER RETARDED) WERE PERFORMED AND THE MESSAGE EXTINGUISHED. FLIGHT DIVERTED.
