THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT AFTER LANDING THE PILOT SIDE LEFT BRAKE WAS INOP. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR FOUND THE PILOTS LEFT BRAKE CABLE FAILED JUST PASSED THE FIRST PULLEY STARTING FROM THE RUDDER PEDAL. THE TECH INDICATED NO SIGNS OF RUBBING IN OR AROUND THE PULLEY. THE PULLEY AND HARDWARE WERE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE FAILED BRAKE CABLE WAS REMOVED AND A NEW CABLE WAS INSTALLED AND RIGGED. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. NOTE: A REVIEW OF THE FAA SDR DATABASE REVEALED SEVERAL REPORTS OF FAILED BRAKE CABLES ON AIRCRAFT OF SIMILAR TIMES AND CYCLES. THIS OPERATOR WILL TAKE MEASURES TO CHECK OTHER AIRCRAFT IN THE FLEET OF SIMILAR TIMES AND CYCLES.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE MAIN CABIN DOOR UNLOCK ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CREW CYCLED THE DOOR SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE ANNUNCIATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED CAUSING THE FLIGHT TO BE TERMINATED. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED A DOOR WARNING PCBOARD AT FAULT. THE PCBOARD WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NEW. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING APU OPERATIONS A LOW FREQUENCY VIBRATION ALONG WITH THE SMELL OF BURNT OIL FROM THE APU BLEED AIR. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR DETERMINED THAT THE APU STARTER/GEN CAUSING THE VIBRATION. THE STARTER/GEN WAS REMOVED (TOTAL TIME IN SERVICE 471.3 HRS) AN OVERHAULED UNIT WAS INSTALLED AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF NEW PAD SEAL.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT IN FLIGHT THE EMERGENCY PRESSURE VALVE ACTIVATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED THAT THE AIR CYCLE MACHINE OVER TEMP SWITCH WAS FAULTY. THE VENDOR REMOVED THE DEFECTIVE SWITCH WITH A NEW SWITCH. OPERATIONS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT THEN WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
