DURING APPROACH, FULLY CONFIGURED, STABLE, AND HAND FLYING, NOTICED THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROL IN PITCH AXIS HAD NO HYDRAULIC FEEL OR RESISTANCE AND COULD MOVE UP TO 2 INCHES FORE AND AFT WITH NO CHANGE IN PITCH ATTITUDE. THEN VERY STRONG PRESSURE WOULD BUILD EITHER IN THE PITCH DOWN OR UP AXIS THAT COULD NOT BE OVERPOWERED BY HAND, PITCH TRIM REQUIRED TO REGAIN STABILITY. ONCE A NEUTRAL BALANCE WAS REGAINED THE PROCESS WOULD REPEAT ITSELF. COULD NOT DETERMINE IF STAB OR TRIM WAS MOVING UNCOMMANDED. NO CASS MESSAGES. REMOVED AND REPLACED ELEVATOR ACTUATOR AND BUNGEE ASSEMBLY IAW CMP 273401 AND 273007. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. PART REMOVED UNSERVICEABLE: 1159C20014-7 (BUNGEE ASSY)
SITTING ON RAMP MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SMOKE COMING FROM APU EXHAUST. SHUT APU DOWN & DISCHARGED APU FIRE BOTTLE. NO FLAMES SEEN OR REPORTED. THERE WERE NO COCKPIT INDICATIONS OF FIRE. PERFORMED APU RUN. APU PERFORMED SATISFACTORY. REMOVED & REPLACED THE LT FIRE BOTTLE AND TESTED IAW CMP CARDS 262020 AND 262424. TESTED SATISFACTORY.
NOSE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO INDICATE DOWN & LOCKED AFTER NORMAL & ALTERNATE EXTENSIONS. DURING EVENT, LOSS OF LT HYD PRESSURE & VOLUME WHICH EVENTUALLY RESTORED TO NORMAL. AFTER LANDING, GEAR OVER CENTER WAS NOT FULLY IN POSITION. HAD TO BE MANUALLY FORCE IT INTO POSITION IN ORDER TO INSERT PIN. FOUND FWD BOLT OF THE NLG SEIZED. REPLACED NLG DOWN LOCK ACTUATOR. INSTALLED WITH NEW HARDWARE IAW AMM 32-38-07. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD IAW CMP G450 323900 LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONAL TEST.
MLG WOULD NOT EXTEND. WHEN MAIN GEAR HANDLE PLACED IN DOWN POSITION, 3 AMBER CASS MESSAGES ILLUMUNATED. (1) LOW HYD QUANTITY. (2) MAIN LND GEAR NOT DOWN. (3) NOSE LND GEAR NOT DOWN. (NO GEAR MOVEMENT AT ALL). LOWERED MAIN GEAR USING, "LANDING GEAR FAILURE TO EXTEND" CHECK LIST. HYD QUANTITY ON HYD PAGE RETURNED TO NORMAL (FULL) AFTER GEAR BLOWDOWN. NORMAL OPS AFTER ALT GEAR EXTENTION. FUNCTION TEST CARRIED OUT, DEFECT CONFIRMED. LANDING GEAR CONTROL CB POPS WHEN GEAR HANDLE SELECTED DOWN. LANDING GEAR SELECTOR DUMP VALVE REPLACED.
AFTER GEAR WAS EXTENDED, NOSE WHEEL STEERING FAIL CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. MX FOUND NOSE STEERING ACTUATOR, FAILED. (K)
PILOTS WINDSHIELD STARTED SMOKING FOLLOWED BY CRACKING IN NUMEROUS PLACES. (K)
LOW FUEL INDICATION AFTER TAKEOFF. REMOVED AND REPLACED FUEL LEVEL LOW SENSOR PROBE.

DURING CLIMBOUT A STRONG SHUDDER WAS FELT THROUGHOUT THE AIRFRAME. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED SPARKS COMING FROM NR 1 ENGINE EXHAUST. FURTHER INVESTIGATION DETERMINED DAMAGE TO TURBINE SECTION. CAUSE TO BE DETERMINED AT TEARDOWN.
