CRACK FOUND IN L/H UPPER ATTACHMENT TAILBOOM FITTING P/N 206-032-409-001P DURING 50 HOUR INSPECTION
DURING PERIODIC INSPECTION, FOUND TAILBOOM ATTACHMENT BULKHEAD CRACKED AT UPPER LH INTERCOSTAL.
RT AFT STIFFENER IN CENTER POST HAS A 2 INCH CRACK ACROSS THE STIFFENER APPROXIMATELY AT WATERLINE 67, RIGHT BL 5 AND STATION 82. RT WEB HAS 1 INCH CRACK IN SAME LOCATION. REMOVED AND REPLACED RT AFT BROOM CLOSET ANGLE P/N 206-033-110-239S AND REPAIRED CRACK R/H BROOM CLOSET SKIN IAW SRM. NO DEFECTS NOTED
DURING A PHASE INSPECTION, FOUND THE CRACK IN THE RIGHT CANTED RIB HAD PROGRESSED BEYOND THE PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED STOP DRILLS. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO THE OPERATOR WITH A ''FERRY PERMIT'' FOR REPAIR. (X)
WHILE APPROACHING TO LAND AT 'LAS', PILOT LOST LT GENERATOR INDICATION. TWO MINUTES LATER PILOT GOT A FIRE WARNING INDICATION AND SECURED THE ENGINE AND FIRED THE LT FIRE BOTTLE. LANDED WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. EXAMINATION FOUND THE GENERATOR SHAFT SHEARED AND ARMATURE DAMAGED. BEARINGS WERE INTACT AND CASE OF GENERATOR SHOWED SIGNS OF OVERHEATING. NO OTHER DAMAGE FOUND. INSTALLED SERVICEABLE GENERATOR AND FIRE BOTTLE. SYSTEMS CHECKED GOOD.
