EN-ROUTE THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE LT & RT AIRSPEED INDICATORS WENT TO â0â INDICATION. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMER WITH ATC. ON DESCENT THE AIRSPEED INDICATORS STARTED INDICATING NORMALLY, THE PILOT CANCELLED THE EMER WITH ATC & LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND THE PITOT HEAT WAS INOPERATIVE ON THE LT & RT PITOT MASTS. FOUND THE ELEC CONNECTOR THAT SUPPLIES POWER TO THE LT & RT PITOT MASTS WAS NOT FULLY SECURED. SECURED ELEC CONNECTOR, LT & RT PITOT HEAT FUNCTIONAL CHECKED NORMAL.
DURING CRUISE FLIGHT AT 10,000 FEET THE LT ENG MANIFOLD PRESS STARTED TO FLUCTUATE & DECREASE. WITHIN THREE TO FIVE MINUTES MANIFOLD PRESS DECREASED TO NINETEEN INCHES WHICH WAS ATMOSPHERIC PRESS WITH LT THROTTLE FULL FWD. OIL TEMP BEGAN TO RISE TOWARDS UPPER RED ARC, 240 DEGREES, AT THAT TIME PILOT DECIDED TO SHUTDOWN LT ENG & DECLARED AN EMER. DIVERTED & LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. INSPECTION OF ENG REVEALED METAL PARTICLES IN OIL FILTER. R & R LT ENG. ALL OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF ENG WERE NORMAL.
THE PILOT REPORTED THAT ON APPROACH TO KBUR AFTER SELECTING GEAR DOWN THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DID NOT ILLUMINATE AND THE GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT PERFORMED A GO-AROUND TO TROUBLESHOOT THE LANDING GEAR INDICATION. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO HAND PUMP THE GEAR DOWN, INDICATION REMAINED THE SAME. THE PILOT FLEW BY THE TOWER, THE TOWER REPORTED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN AND LOCKED. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. BUR MAINTENANCE PLACED THE AIRCRAFT ON JACKS SERVICED THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR WITH FLUID AND PERFORMED MULTIPLE GEAR RETRACTION/EXTENSIONS AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE DOWN LIMIT SWITCHES, LANDING GEAR OPS CHECKED OK.
LEFT MAIN GEAR INBOARD DOOR FORWARD HINGE WAS FOUND BROKEN. SUBMITTER STATED THIS IS THE 8TH FOUND IN RECENT HISTORY. THIS HINGE IS THE 'NEW STYLE' SPECIFIED IN AD 80-26-05. THIS HINGE NEEDS TO BE RE-DESIGNED TO PREVENT THIS TYPE OF CRACKING, AND POSSIBLE GEAR FOULING.
