DIR OMG 50 HR INSPECTION AND COMPRESSION CHECK, FOUND NR 3 CYLINDER LOW 56/80. AFTER REMOVAL, FOUND TO BE CRACKED BETWEEN SPARK PLUG HOLE AND INTAKE VALVE. THIS IS 1 OF SEVERAL FOUND TO BE CRACKED.
NR 1 CYLINDER WAS FOUND CRACKED BETWEEN SPARK PLUG HOLE AND INTAKE VALVE. THIS IS THE 3RD CYLINDER WITH SIMILAR CRACK.
FOUND NR 1 CYLINDER CRACKED BETWEEN SPARK PLUG HOLE AND THE INTAKE VALVE. THIS IS THE 3RD CYLINDER FOUND WITH THIS SIMILAR CRACK. (END)
PLUNGER WAS SERVICED IAW O/H MANUAL 73-40-01 LAPPED AND INSTALLED. SUBSEQUENT TO O/H FUEL PUMP FAILED IN-FLIGHT, PUMP SENT BACK FOR WARRANTY. PLUNGER FOUND WORN, REPLACED, PUMP FUNCTION OK. O/H MANUAL VAGUE ON HOW LONG OR WEAR CAN BE BEFORE IT SHOULD BE REPLACED.
