ON THE DESCENT TO HWD APPROXIMATELY 7000FT AND 250KTS, THE RIGHT OUTER PANE OF GLASS ON THE WINDSHIELD OF THE CO-PILOT SIDE SUDDENLY SHATTERED. WE THE CREW ELECTED TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERT TO SJC AIRPORT FOR BETTER RUNWAY AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. APPROACH, LANDING AND TAXI WERE UNEVENTFUL.
PILOTS LEFT SIDE WINDSHIELD SHATTERED AT FL 430 DURING CRUISE. NO DEPRESSURIZATION. OCCURRED APPROX 40-50 MILES WEST OF GRB. WE DID AN EMERGENCY DECENT & DIVERTED TO GRB. NO HISSING OR OTHER INDICATIONS OF DEPRESSURIZATION. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LH WINDSHIELD ASSEMBLY. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD.
DIVERTED DUE TO FLAP FAIL CAS MESSAGE DURING CRUISE. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REPLACED FLAP CONTROL UNIT. OPS CHECK GOOD.
