DURING CLIMB CREW NOTICED FUEL CONTRAIL COMING FROM LEFT WING OUTBOARD. AFTER A SHORT TIME, EVEN THOUGH THE CONTRAIL DISSIPATED, CREW OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION DECIDED TO RETURN TO DEPARTURE AIRPORT. CHECKLIST FOLLOWED, EMERGENCY DECLARED, AND UNEVENTFUL LANDING PERFORMED. MAINTENANCE EVALUATION FOUND FUEL SATURATION AROUND PLENUM VENT. APPROXIMATELY 5 GALLONS OF FUEL WAS DRAINED FROM PLENUM, AFTER 30 MINUTES NO FURTHER FUEL WAS COLLECTING IN PLENUM. NO OTHER ISSUES OR LEAKS WERE FOUND. ISSUE WAS ATTRIBUTED TO AIRCRAFT SITTING ON RAMP, HOT DAY, FULL OF FUEL WAITING ON DEPARTURE FOR OVER 5 HOURS DUE TO CLOSED RUNWAY, AT WHICH TIME NORMAL FUEL EXPANSION COLLECTED IN PLENUM AS DESIGNED, WHICH VENTED DURING CLIMB. SUBSEQUENT FLIGHTS PERFORMED WITH NO ISSUES.

PERFORMED SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKS AND VERIFICATION OF BAYONET INDICATORS, SYSTEM OPS CHECK GOOD.

ALL THREE IRS NAVIGATION COMPUTERS FAIL INTERMITTENTLY. HAPPENED 5 TIMES BEFORE LEAVING CHOCKS. SHUT DOWN FOR 15 MINUTES REATTEMPTED TO ALIGN IRS NAVIGATION COMPUTERS. FAILED AGAIN. MAP ON PFD BEGINS TO WANDER, IRS 1,2,3 FAIL. POSITION INIT TEMPORARILY ALIGNS IRS FOR 10 MINUTES THEN THEY FAIL AGAIN. PER MCC'S REQUEST ACCOMPLISHED FAULT HISTORY DOWNLOAD AND SENT TO TECH OPS FOR REVIEW. TECH OPS REVIEWED FAULT HISTORY AND REPORTED THE FOLLOWING: "NO REAL POINT OF OR DIRECT FAILURE WITH THE IRS SYSTEM AND THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL INSTANCES OF THE MAU'S BEING RESET (BEAKERS PULLED) WHICH MAY HAVE FURTHER CONFUSED THE AIRCRAFT. AT NO TIME WAS THERE A GREATER THEN 5 MINUTE POWER CYCLE. HISTORY HAS PROVED THAT IF THE AIRCRAFT IS EXPERIENCING SEVERAL CASCADING FAULTS IT'S RECOMMENDED TO POWER DOWN FOR A FULL 15 MINUTES TO REBOOT AND RE-ACCESS. I WOULD POWER UP AGAIN AND ENSURE THE AIRCRAFT HAS NO ACTIVE FAULTS WITH ALL SYSTEMS UP AND RUNNING." ACCOMPLISHED MULTIPLE EXTENDED OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF THE INERTIAL REFERENCING SYSTEM'S 1, 2, AND 3 NOTING NO DEFECTS. ALL THREE IRS'S ALIGNED AND STAYED OPERATIONAL THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF MAINTENANCE. UNABLE TO DUPLICATE FAULT. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW G-450 AMM 45-00-00 AND 34-42-00.

STRONGEST LOCATION IN VESTIBULE AT MAIN CABIN DOOR THEN FORWARD. // SIGNOFF// NOTICED ODOR UPON ENTERING AIRCRAFT POWERED AIRCRAFT RAN APU AND PACKS WITH NO ODOR FROM THE AORCONDITION SYSTEM REMOVED PANELS TO LEFT AND RIGHT AVIONICS RACKS. STILL COULD NOT ISOLATE THE ODOR, HAD AIRCRAFT MOVED INTO HANGER. POWERED AIRCRAFT AND LET COCKPIT WARM UP ODOR INCREASED AND EVENTUALLY TRACKED DOWN THE ODOR TO THE FIRST OFFICERS MCDU REMOVED MCDU FROM PEDESTAL AND FOUND PARTS OF THE CASE WERE VERY HOT AND THE ODOR WAS OBIOUSLY EMINATION FROM THE UNIT. PLACED MCDU ON ORDER THROUDH MCC REMOVED AND REPLACED FIRST OFFICERS MCDU WITH A TESTED MCDU IAW 34-60-03 OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY AND ODOR NO LONGER PRESEN

PERFORMED FLAP STAB VERIFICATION IN THE CMC. ALL PARAMETERS WERE WITHIN LIMITS AND NO ERRONIOUS INDICATIONS NOTED IN ALL FLAP POSITIONS. DURING FLAP MECHANICAL RIG VERIFICATION, NOTED THE RIGHT FLAP OUTBOARD ACTUATOR TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT AND UPSIDE DOWN. ADJUSTED ACTUATOR AND IS NOW POSITIONED CORRECTLY IAW AMM 27-50-00. PERFORMED FLAP STABALIZER AUTO-RIG IAW CMP 275009. PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY FLAP SYSTEM OPERATIONAL TEST IAW CMP 275003.

INSPECTED FLAP AND FOUND RT "A" TRAK FITTING CRACKED AND OTBD RUB STRIP ON "B" TRACK MISSING. REMOVED FLAP IAW CMP 275002. REMOVED CRACKED FITTING AND REPLACED WITHNEW IAW BP 1159CS20005. REPLACED RUB STRIP IAW BP 1159SC20005. INSTALLED FLAP AND OPERATIONALLY TESTED IAW CMP 275002 AND MM 25-50-00.
