WHILE PERFORMING THE INSPECTION PER FAR91.207D, AN INSPECTION OF THE CASE REVEALED A CORRODED AREA AT THE END OF THE BATTERY SECTION. THIS CORROSION HAD EATEN ALMOST COMPLETELY THROUGH THE CASE.
