DURING FLIGHT, TUBE ASSY CRACKED CAUSING LOSS OF NR 2 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE. ALSO, FOUND BROKEN WAS BRACE P/N 222-080-134-102 THAT SUPPORTS FILTER MANIFOLD TO WHICH TUBE ASSEMBY IS CONNECTED.

BRACE, P/N 222-080-134-102, WAS FOUND BROKEN TO NR 2 SYSTEM HYDRAULIC FILTER MANIFOLD. SUBMITTER STATED BRACE MANUFACTURING PROCEDURE NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. BRACES ALWAYS BREAK AT BEND LINE.

ACTT 1990.5. PILOT ATTEMPTED TO START NR 1 ENGINE AT 12 PERCENT NG. STARTER DROPPED OFF-LINE. ON SUBSEQUENT ATTEMPT, ONLY ENGINE IGNITER OPERATED. DURING TROUBLESHOOTING, FOUND BOTH GROUND CIRCUIT DIODES HAD FAILED. REPLACED BOTH DIODES, OPS CHECK OF START SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD. REF: OPER CONTROL NR MXIA627G.
