DURING CLIMB FOR A ROUTINE FLIGHT FROM KGVL TO MYAM, THE CREW REPORTED A "CNTL" CAS MESSAGE AFTER SELECTING LANDING GEAR TO THE UP POSITION. THE CREW PERFORMED THE QRH PROCEDURE AND RECEIVED 3 GREEN DOWN-AND-LOCKED INDICATIONS AND MADE A DIVERSION TO KPDK WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENTS. TECHNICIANS FOUND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR STRUT FAILED TO EXTEND FULLY AFTER TAKE-OFF, CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR NOT TO RETRACT INTO THE BAY FULLY. THE TECHNICIANS REPLACED THE BARREL NUT, SCRAPER RING, AND ASSOCIATED SEALS IAW THE CMM 32-20-05. FUNCTIONAL AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY.
WHILE ENROUTE FROM KPSM TO KACK THE FLIGHT CREW HAD A ENGINE FIRE RED CAS, DIVERTED TO KHYA, THE FLIGHT CREW DECLARED AND EMERGENCY BUT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AIRPORT FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AT THE AIRCRAFT, AND FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF AN ACTUAL FIRE. REPLACED A GASKET AND CLAMP ON A PNEUMATIC LINE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT THAT WAS ADJACENT TO A PORTION OF THE FIRE WIRE SENSOR. THE HEAT BLANKET AROUND THE PNEUMATIC LINE WAS THEN RE-POSITIONED TO ENSURE IT COMPLETELY COVERED THE LINE. THE FIRE WIRE SENSOR IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS INSPECTED TO ENSURE IT WAS NOT DAMAGED, NO DAMAGE NOTED. PERFORMED ENGINE TEST 18 IAW AMM 12-B-71-00-00-00A-903S-A. OPS CHECK GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
PROBLEM: DURING CLIMB ON FLIGHT FROM KPSM TO KTEB, THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED "PROP DEICE FAIL IN FLIGHT". THE CREW REPORTED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO KPSM WHERE THEY LANDED SAFELY WITHOUT INCIDENT. RESOLUTION: THE MAINTENANCE CREW IN KPSM COMPLIED WITH THE FOLLOWING. INSPECTED PROPELLER BRUSH BLOCK WEAR, IAW HARTZELL CMM 30-60-81, BRUSH WEAR WITHIN LIMITS. CHECKED RESISTANCE OF THE PROP DE-ICE BOOTS, IAW HARTZEL DE-ICING SYTEMS CMM- 30-61-80. NO DEFECTS NOTED. FOUND THE DEICE LEAD RING TERMINALS AT BLADE NR 4 LOOSE WITH A FLUCTUATING RESISTANCE. CLEANED AND TIGHTENED HARDWARE. RAN AIRCRAFT AT -2*C FOR 30 MINUTES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD.
ACS LOW INFLOW (AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM)
BOTTOM SIDE OF LEFT FLAP LOWER FORWARD SKIN CRACKED IN TWO PLACES. AT FWD LAP JOINT BETWEEN FLAP RIBS FIVE AND SIX ON THE LOWER SURFACE AND FWD LAP JOINT BETWEEN FLAP RIBS FOUR AND FIVE ON THE LOWER SURFACE. REMOVED DAMAGES, WET INSTALLED DOUBLERS AND FILLERS IAW SRM 12-B-57-50-00-00A-664B-A FLAP LOWER SKIN CRACK SPECIAL REPAIR PROCEDURE.
RIGHT MAIN GEAR INDICATES FAILURE TO RETRACT. THE ACFT RETURNED WHERE IT LANDED SAFELY WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE ACFT WAS THEN FERRIED FOR REPAIRS UNDER SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT DATED 1 13 2016. TROUBLESHOOTING & REPLACEMENT OF THE RT MLG DOOR PROXIMITY SWITCH PN 72A74-02 973.30.33.116 OCCURRED IAW THE AMM 12-B-32-10-00-00A-903B-A. THE EMER & NORMAL EXTENSION & RETRACTION SYSTEMS CHECKED GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED IAW AMM 2-B-32-30-10-00A-903A-A & 12-B-32-30-00-00A-903B-A.
