LEFT ENGINE PAN SKIN WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED AT AN OEM NUTPLATE INSTALLATION, USED TO SECURE A SCUPPER DRAIN. THE REPAIR DOCUMENTATION WILL BE SUBMITTED TO A STRUCTURAL DER FOR APPROVAL. THE ENGINE PAN SKIN WILL THEN BE REPAIRED IAW THE APPROVED REPAIR DATA.
ENGINE REMOVED 4-29-16, DUE TO TURBINE O/H, COMPRESSOR N1 SHAFTING, 150, 300 & 2000 HR INSPECTIONS. TURBINE NR 5 BEARING EXHIBITED SPALLING AT OUTER RACE SPLIT. REPLACED NR 5 BEARING.
ENGINE REMOVED 6-28-15 DUE TO WHINING. NR 5 BEARING REMOVED DUE TO PROBABLE SPALLING AT OUTER RACE SPLIT. PART WILL BE RETURNED FOR FURTHER EVALUATION.
