SENT ARES TO CESSNA TEAM680 FOR EVALUATION. FOUND LH FUEL LOW PRESSURE. SWITCH WAS INOP. TECHS REPLACED FAULTY LT FUEL LOW PRESSURE SWITCH IAW CE-680A AMM 73-10-05. ACCOMPLISHED OPS/LEAK CHECK, OPS/LEAK CHECK GOOD.
IN CRUISE FLIGHT SELECTED FUEL TRANSFER FROM LEFT TANK TO RIGHT TANK RIGHT BOOT PUMP CAS MESSAGE ELIMINATED COMPLETED CHECKLIST. EVERYTHING RETURNED TO NORMAL TRIED TO TRANSFER AGAIN THIS TIME RECEIVED A LOW PRESSURE WARNING WITH NO BOOT PUMP. SYSTEM WORKED FINE ON THE GROUND BEFORE THE FLIGHT. DUE TO RIGHT BOOST PUMP CAS MESSAGE REMOVED CARTRIDGE ASSY P/N:3C27-1 S/N:3BN18 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED OVERHAULED CARTRIDGE ASSY P/N:3C27-1 S/N:12BV78. REMOVED MOTIVE FLOW VALVE P/N:9914716-1 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW MOTIVE FLOW CHECK VALVE P/N:9914716-1. OPS CHECK GOOD. LEAK CHECK GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK DONE IN REF WITH CE-680A AMM 28-20-10 AND 28-20-35
IN LEVEL FLIGHT WE SELECTED THE FUEL CROSSFEED SELECTOR TO THE LEFT TANK THE WHITE LEFT FUEL BOOST AS IT SHOULD BUT A FEW SECOND LATER THE RIGHT AMBER BOOST PUMP CAS MESSAGE COMES ON. WHEN YOU SELECT THE CROSSFEED TO OFF AND FOLLOW THE CHECKLIST YOU CAN GET THE AMBER RIGHT BOOST PUMP CAS TO GO OUT. REMOVED THE RT FUEL CHECK VALVE AND INSTALLED NEW PART. FUELED AIRCRAFT WITH 1500 LBS OF FUEL. LEAK CHECKS PASSED WITH NO DISCREPANCIES. POWERED ACFT ENGINES & REPOSITIONED AIRCRAFT FROM SIGNATURE TERMINAL 2 TO THE ENGINE RUN UP AREA UNDER ESCORT. COMPLIED WITH SATISFACTORY OPS CHECKS OF FUEL CHECK VALVE. PER TEAM680A RECOMMENDATIONS, PERFORMED OUT OF IDLE ENGINE RUNS WITH APU OFF AND FUEL TRANSFER FROM LT TO RT FOR 20 MINS. NO DEFECTS NOTED. REPOSITIONED ACFT FROM ENGINE RUN UP AREA BACK TO SIGNATURE TERMINAL 2 UNDER ESCORT. REF. TO AMM 57-20-05 AND MM 28-40-20.
DURING DESCENT WE RECEIVED THE HYD VOLUME LOW CAS MESSAGE. VOLUME INDICATED 120 CU IN. WE FOLLOWED THE QRH PROCEDURE AND UNLOADED THE ENGINE DRIVEN PUMPS. QUANTITY SETTLED AT 140-160 AFTER UNLOADING PUMPS. LANDED USING QRH PROCEDURE AND DID USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKES DURING LANDING. FLUID WAS OBSERVED AFTER LANDING ON THE FORWARD BELLY AND ON BOTH THE BRAKE AND GEAR VENTS TO THE RIGHT OF THE NOSE GEAR. SERVICED HYDRAULICS AND APPLIED HYD POWER FOUND SYS LEAKING FROM OVERBOARD DRAINS. RESET GEAR EMERG BLOWDOWN BOTTLE & GEAR CONTROL MANIFOLD IAW AMM 12-10-45 PURGED LINES & PERFORMED GEAR EXTENSIONS AND RETRACTION SYSTEM OPS CHECKS & BLEEDS IAW AMM 32-00-00 NO DEFECTS NOTED HYD SYS QTY NO LONGER DROPPING
DEBONDING OF LH AND RH WING UPPER SKIN ASSEMBLY STRINGER ENDS: ACCOMPLISHED INJECTION OF ADHESIVE INTO DEBONDED AREA AND ADDED FASTENERS TO THE END OF THE AFFECTED STRINGERS. VERIFIED NO CRACK INDICATIONS EXIST IN THE UPPER WING SKIN IN THE DEFECT AREAS AND RESTORED PROTECTIVE FINISH. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW TEXTRON AVIATION FIELD REPAIR FR-680A-0044-14748: FIELD REPAIR - DEBOND, LH AND RH WING, UPPER SKIN BOND ASSEMBLIES, STRINGER ENDS.
UPON GEAR RETRACTION AFTER TAKEOFF RECEIVED A GEAR DISAGREE RT & AMBER DN IND ON RT MLG & NOSE & LT MLG RETRACTED NORMAL. RAN ABNORMAL CHECKLIST, EXTENDED GEAR HANDLE AND RECEIVED 3 GREEN DWN. LANDED WITHOUT ISSUE. REMOVED RT MLG DOWN LOCK SWITCH & CLEANED SEALANT AROUND SWITCH. INSPECTED SWITCH FOR DEFECTS. NONE NOTED. SWITCH TO BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER & PINS SHOW OPEN & CLOSED ON 1 & 3 AS SWITCH IS ACTUATED. REINSTALLED SAME SWITCH ONTO MLG. ADJUSTED FOR INDICATING DOWN & LOCKED ACCORDING TO MLG SQUAT SWITCH RIGGING, JACKED & CYCLED GEAR . OPS CHECKED GOOD. WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW AMM 32·60-00.
UNABLE TO MOVE HANDLE TO THE CLOSED POSITION. FOUND ONE AFT CABIN DOOR PIN BOUND UP AND NOT LETTING THE DOOR HANDLE MOVE. REMOVED CABIN DOOR STEPS. FREED UP DOOR PIN AND LUBED IAW CE-680A AMM 12-20-40. HANDLE IS NOW MOVING NORMALLY. REINSTALLED CABIN STEPS IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-50. CABIN DOOR IS NOT OPENING AND CLOSING NORMALLY IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING: WITH BOTH SHIP BATTERIES CONNECTED, AND BATTERY SWITCHES OFF, WHEN GOING TO ON FOR EMER LIGHTS, NO EMERGENCY LIGHTS COME ON AT ALL. //SIGNOFF// EMERGENCY LIGHTING: WITH BOTH SHIP BATTERIES CONNECTED, AND BATTERY SWITCHES OFF, WHEN GOING TO ON FOR EMER LIGHTS, NO EMERGENCY LIGHTS COME ON AT ALL. THE FO THAT WAS PF SAID HE FELT THE RUDDERS MOVE STRANGELY AND WE RECEIVED AN AP YD FAIL MESSAGE. // SIGNOFF// PERFORMED LITEF LCR-100 HYBRID NAVIGATOR OPS CHECK. NO FAULTS FOUND. NOTIFIED MCC AND THEY ELECTED TO CHANGE BOTH HYBRID NAVIGATORS FROM A MOD 26 TO A MOD 28. REMOVED LH LCR-100N WITH MOD 26 PN 145130-3000 SN 4252 AND INSTALLED A REPAIRED UNIT WITH MOD 28 PN 145130-3000 SN 8133 IAW CE680A MM 34-20-05. REMOVED RH LCR-100N WITH MOD 26 PN 145130-3000 SN 9563 AND INSTALLED A REPAIRED UNIT WITH A MOD 28 PN 145130-3000 SN 8045 IAW CE680A MM 34-20-05. OPERATIONAL CHECK OF 130TH LCR-100N IS GOOD AT THIS TIME. DURRING REMOVAL, FOUND LEFT LCR'S CALIBRATION PLUG SCREW SHEERED OFF INTO THE OLD UNITS CAPTURE NUT. SUSPECT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE INTERMITTENT ISSUE. NOTIFIED MCC THAT THE SCREW FOR THE PLUG WILL NEED REPLACED AND THAT CESSNA ENGINEERING WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE THE PN FOR THE SCREW. REMOVED DAMAGED CONFIG MODULE SCREW, INSTALLED REPLACEMENT SCREW REMOVED FROM THE REPLACEMENT MODULE. REINSTALLED ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION MODULE IAW CE-680A M.M. 34-20-15 OPS CHECK GOOD
LAV EMERG LIGHT: LAV UNDERSEAT LIGHT INOP // SIGNOFF// REMOVED PANEL UNDER LAV SEAT AND NOTED CANNON PLUG DISCONNECTED. RECONNECTED CANNON PLUG AND COMPLIED WITH SATISFACTORY OPS CHECKS AT THIS TIME PER CE-680A MM 33-50-00.

DURING CRUISE, AT FL430, RECEIVED A RIGHT DC EMERGENCY BUSS AMBER CAS MESSAGE. FOLLOWED CHECKLISTS AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REMOVED THE FAULITY RT BUSS CONTACTOR KZ014. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 24-60-10-2, AND 24-60-10-5.
LEFT ENGINE DATA MISCOMPARE. HIGH OIL TEMP CAS MESSAGES. PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN. COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY.
BACK SHELL IS BROKEN/CRACKED AND SEPARATED FROM CONNECTOR PLUG ASSY. POSSIBLE CAUSE IS WIRE BUNDLE TO CONNECTOR PLUG STRESSES AND PULLING ON BACK SHELL. BACK SHELL IS MADE ON PLASTIC NOT METAL. IF BACK SHELL WAS MADE OF METAL IT WOULD HOLD UP AS A STRAIN RELIEF FOR THE ATTACHING WIRE BUNDLE. IF A PLASTIC BACK SHELL IS CONTINUED TO BE USED, WIRE BUNDLE SHOULD ALLOW SLACK ENOUGH NOT TO STRAIN THE STRAIN RELIEF. A METAL BACKSHELL IS THE MORE POSITIVE FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM. (K)

WHILE PERFORMING AD 203-07-11, ENGINE FAN DISK ULTRASONIC INSPECTION, THREE FAN BLADE TRAILING EDGES WERE FOUND WITH UNACCEPTABLE DAMAGE. THE FAN DISK RING SHOWED GOUGING IN THE AREAS CORRESPONDING WITH THE DAMAGED BLADES. (REPORT NR: 625-01-03) (PTRS: NE03200305670)
