THE PILOT REPORTED DURING CRUISE THE RIGHT ENGINE RPM AND OIL PRESSURE NOTICEABLE GOING DOWN, WITH THE ENGINE GOING INTO A FEATHER. THE PILOT ELECTED TO SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE, RESULTING IN A SINGLE-ENGINE LANDING. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE CRANKSHAFT SEAL DAMAGED AND THE ENGINE OPERATED WITH LESS THAN THE MINIMUM OIL QUANTITIES. THE RIGHT ENGINE IS BEING REMOVED AND WILL BE SENT TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR EVALUATION.
PILOT REPORTED ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND FEATHERED ON ITS OWN ON TAKE-OFF. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE LT AND RT ENGINE FUEL SYSTEM, INTAKE SYSTEM, IGNITION SYSTEM AND PROPELLER. PERFORMED LT AND RT ENGINE FULL POWER RUN UP SEVERAL TIMES WITH ALL PARAMETERS GOOD. NO DISCREPANCIES FOUND. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE AND HAS BEEN OPERATING NORMALLY.
PILOT REPORTED PARTIAL LOSS OF POWER IN FLIGHT ON RT ENG, ENGINE RUNNING ROUGH. AFTER BOTH ENGS FULL POWER FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS, POWER CAME BACK. ENGS WERE BROUGHT BACK TO CRUISE & THE RT ENG BEGAN RUNNING ROUGH. PERFORMED A PRELIMINARY INSPECTION & FOUND METAL CONTAMINATION IN OIL SAMPLES. FURTHER INSPECTION LEAD TO EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE TO THE CRANKSHAFT. FINAL RESULTS PENDING TEAR DOWN ANALYSIS.
PILOT REPORTED STRONG ODOR IN COCKPIT, POSSIBLY ELEC, INFLIGHT. PERFORMED VISUAL INSP ON ALL ACFT SYS & FOUND THE VENTILATION BLOWER BURNT OUT. THE ITEM WAS PLACED ON MEL.. PERFORMED A FULL POWER RUN UP WITH NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. ITEM PLACED ON MEL UNTIL PARTS ARRIVE TO ADDRESS ISSUE.
NO LT BRAKE ON LANDING. R & R THE LT OTBD BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY IAW MM CHAPTER 2 9. OPERATIONS CHECKED SATISFACTORY WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
