JET FUEL SMELL COMING INTO AIRCRAFT FROM THE AIR VENTS. MORE PROMINENT FROM THE OVERHEAD COLD AIR VENTS THAN THE CONDITIONED / HEAT VENTS. NO SMELL PRESENT IN LUGGAGE COMPARMENT OR TAIL CONE ACCESS AREA. NO FUEL NOTED PUDDLING UNDER AIRCRAFT. WAS TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND TO BE THE APU BLEED AIR SYSTEM CAUSING THE FUEL SMELL AND THE APU BLEED AIR HAS BEEN SUBSEQUENTLY BEEN MEL'D.
ELECTRICAL SMELL IN COCKPIT. PERFORMED ENGINE RUN OF A/C AND APPLIED ALL SETTINGS AS PILOT HAD, DURING INCIDENT. FOUND NO SMOKE OR BURNING ODOR. REMOVED UPPER COCKPIT PANEL AND INSPECTED WIRES AND OPERATION OF ALL ITEMS: LIGHTS, SPEAKERS, AND GASPERS. WE DID NOT FIND ANY ARCING, SIGNS OF BURNING, OR DEFECTS AT THE TIME. RAN A/C WITH PANEL REMOVED TO ASSURE NO DEFECTS FOUND, NO DEFECTS FOUND, NO BURNING ODOR DETECTED. ALL ACCESS GAINED RE-INSTALLED TO ORIGINAL CONFIG. OPS. CHECK OF LIGHTS AND SPEAKERS, GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED. REF. CE560XL AMM. 25-12-02 AND PILOTS POH.
IN CRUISE FLIGHT FL350 PITCH TRIM FROZE AND PITCH TRIM ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. TRIM OPERATED NORMALLY AT AROUND 9,000 FT. EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE ELEVATOR TRIM SERVO AND LUBRICATED THE ELEVATOR TRIM ACTUATORS. A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
AFTER ENGINE START WITH APU RUNNING FUNNY SMELL IN COCKPIT AND LIGHT SMOKE IN CABIN. ENGINES/APU SHUT DOWN AND CREW DEPLANED THE PASSENGERS. EMERGENCY VEHICLES WERE STANDING BY. NO EVIDENCE OF HOT SPOTS NOTED. MAINTENANCE ISOLATED THE DISCREPANCY TO A FAULTY APU COMPRESSOR SEAL LEAKING OIL. THE ENGINE WATER SEPARATOR BAG WAS REPLACED AND APU WAS DEFERRED IAW THE GAMA MEL DUE TO REQUIRING REPLACEMENT. ENGINE RUNS PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO MAINTENANCE.
DURING DESCENT FROM FL410 'PITCH TRIM' FLAG APPEARED IN PFD. AUTO-PILOT WAS DISCONNECTED AND ELEVATOR TRIM WHEEL FOUND TO BE JAMMED. CHECKLIST WAS FOLLOWED AND AN EMERGENCY DECLARED. DURING THE DESCENT TO LOWER ALTITUDE AND IN ABOVE FREEZING AIR THE ELEVATOR TRIM WAS FUNCTIONAL. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. MAINTENANCE CONSULTED WITH MANUFACTURER AND LUBED THE TRIM ACTUATORS. A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
