WE FOUND NO INDICATION THAT THE GEAR WAS BLOWN DOWN, GEAR EMER BOTTLE FOUND AT 1900PSI AND BREAK AWAY IS IN NORMAL CONDITION. C/W GEAR BUMP TROUBLESHOOTING, STRUT CHROME FOUND AT 9.75, UPPER BARREL FOUND AT 285 PSI AND LOWER BARREL FOUND AT 20PSI. WORK PERFORMED PER AMM32-00-00. C/W GVI OF NLG UPLOCK SWITCH HARNESS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. C/W WIRE CHECKS OF THE NLG UPLOCK SWITCH, NO DEFECTS NOTED. C/W NLG UPLOCK ACTUATOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT CHECK NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME, WORK PERFORMED PER AMM 32-34-00. WE ALSO DW 2 SUCCESSFUL GEAR CYCLES, WITH NO ISSUES AND GOOD INDICATIONS. JL 4/9/2026 MCC HAS REQUESTED WE SERVICE THE NLG STRUT PRESSURE TO CORRECT LEVELS AND REPLACE NLG UP LOCK SWITCH. SWITCH ON ORDER. THE LAV FLOOR EMER LIGHT IS INTERMITTENT AND FLICKERS ON AND OFF. ACCESSED AIRCRAFT AND POWERED UP VIA APU. POWERED ON EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND ALL LIGHTS WORKING PROPERPLY INCLUDING LAV FLOOR LIGHTING, WHILE LIGHTS WERE POWERED ON, TAPPED ON TOILET SEAT AND TOILET KICK PANEL AND LAV FLOOR LIGHT STARTED TO FLICKER. PERFORMED GVI OF LED ASSEMBLY WITH DEFECTS NOTED. DISPLACED LOWER LAV KICK PANEL CHECKED WIRING AND CONNECTIONS FOR EMER. LIGHT STRIP. FOUND LED STRIP CONNECTOR LOOSE, RECONNECTED AND LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED WITH NO FLICKERING, EVEN WHILE MANIPULATIONG WIRING HARNESS AND SLICES. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF EMR LIGHTS IAW AMM REF. 33-50-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.

PNEUMATIC DISTRIBUTION: DURING LEVEL FLIGHT AT 17,000 FEET WE BOTH SMELLED A STRONG BURNING ODOR IN THE ARCRAFTT. AT THE TIME WE WERE IN HEAVY PRECIP WITH ALL ANTI-ICE SWITCHES ON. WE DID RECEIVE A COUPLE OF INBOARD WING COLD AMBER CAS MESSAGES THAT CAME ON AND EXTINGUISHED. WE DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED INTO KCLE. WHEN WE WENT INTO THE BAGGAGE COMOARTMENT TO RETRIEVE OUR BAGS WE SMELLED THE SAME STRONG ODOR AND FOUND THE BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT NO LONGER WORKING (IT WAS WORKING WHEN WE LEFT KYIP). FOUND APU INTAKE PACKED WITH BUGS. REMOVED INTAKE CLEANED INSPECTED APU INTAKE DUCT AND SCREEN, FOUND NO DEBRIS THEN REINSTALLED APU INLET. REFERENCE ITEM 7 THIS WO FOR APU INSPECTION. PERFORMED ENGINE RUNS WITH BOTH LH/RH AND APU APU/GPU ENGINE STARTS ALL AIR SOURCE TEMPERATURE CONFIGRATION HIGH POWER RUNS AND ISOLATED AN VERY SMALL ODOR FROM THE APU WHEN THE BA IS SELECTED ON ONLV REFERENCE ITEM 7 FOR CORRECTIVE ACTION. LNSPECTED BAGGAGE LIQHTS AND FOUND THEY FAILED OPERATIONAL TIME CHECK/ALSO INTERMITTENT. INSPECTED BAGGAGE LIGHTS WIRING AFTER ACCESSING TIME DELAY NOTED IT HAD OVERHEATED. THERE WAS A STRONG SMELL IN THE LH J BOX FROM THIS DELAY RELAY FAILING. ARRIVING TJSJ SELECTING GEAR DOWN POSITION WE HAD A GEAR DISAGREE R AMBER CASS MESSAGE. WE RAN THE QRH X2 THAT TOOK US TO N1 LANDING GEAR WILL NOT EXTEND, WE RAN THAT CHECK LIS,T WE BLEW DOWN THE BOTTLE IT FAILED TO EXTEND, WENT TO THE BACK AND BLEW MAIN GEAR UPLOCK HANDLE, NO LUCK. WE FELT LIKE THE GEAR WAS DOWN, WE DID A LOW PASS, TOWER TOLD US THE GEAR APPEARS TO BE DOWN WE PRAY CROSS FINGERS AND MADE A SAFE LANDING.

NOSE GEAR CYCLED CONTINUOUSLY AT HIGH FREQUENCY ATTEMPTING TO RE-LOCK THE NOSE GEAR FOR APPROXIMATELY 10-12 MINUTES DURING DESCENT.â UPON INSPECTION, FOUND NLG UPLOCK ROLLER TO BE .200 FROM ENGAGING FULLY INTO UPLOCK HOOK. FOUND NLG DIMENSION FROM UPPER BARREL FLAT AND LOWER BARREL FLAT TO MEASURE 9.95 INCHES AND SHOULD BE 9.75 INCHES PER CE-680A MM 12-10-52-3. NLG ROLLER INTERMITTENTLY CONTACTING SWITCH AND NOT ENGAGING FULLY IS CAUSING NLG TO INTERMITTENTLY ACTUATE RETRACT. ACTUAL FULL EXTENSION WAS NOT ACCOMPLISHED UNTIL BELOW 18,000 AND FEET BELOW 210 KNOTS. //SIGNOFF// FOUND NLG UPLOCK ROLLER TO BE .200 FROM ENGAGING FULLY INTO UPLOCK HOOK. DOWNLOADED ARES DATA FOR REVIEW BY TEXTRON FOR ANY FLIGHT CONTROL OR AIRCRAFT ABNORMALITIES. NO DEFECTS NOTED FROM DOWNLOAD. WHILE OBTAINING DOWNLOAD, LAVATORY CLOSEOUT PANEL MADE AN AGING NOISE WHEN DISTURBED WHILE OBTAINING ARES DOWNLOAD, UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, FOUND LAV CLOSEOUT PANEL TO BE DETACHED & CRACKED. ACCOMPLISHED AQRD (45 DAY) TEMP REPAIR OF PANEL CRACK IAW AQRD RFTS-102880. REINSTALLED LAVATORY CLOSEOUT PANEL IAW CE-680A M/M 38-30-00. PERFORMED AIRCRAFT ENGINE RUNS IAW PW306D 71-00-00. NO ISSUED NOTED.
AT 40,000 FT AND AT CRUISE SPEED THERE WAS A LOUD THUNK AND THE GEAR SHOWED IN TRANSIT MOMENTARILY. THE SPEED TAPE SHOWED A RED GR ABOUT THREE MINUTES LATER THE EVENT MARKER WAS PRESSED. THE GEAR OPERATED NORMALLY FOR LANDING. CHECKED PRESSURES OF NLG STRUT UPPER AND LOWER BARRELS. FOUND UPR BARREL AT 260 PSI AND LWR BARREL AT 28 PSI. SERVICED UPR AND LWR BARREL ASSEMBLIES WITH NITROGEN IAW MM CHAPTER 12-20-15. LEVELED AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED NLG CASTER CHECK IAW MM CHAPTER 32-00-00. CHECKS GOOD. FOUND EXCESSIVE TENSION ON NLG UPLOCK MANUAL RELEASE CABLE. CHECKED RIGGING OF CABLE AND FOUND IT OUT OF ADJUSTMENT (BOLT ATTACHING PULLEY TO TUBE IS NOT VERTICAL). INSPECTED AND FOUND THE CABLE HUNG UP ON TOP AFT BOLT OF BAGGAGE FIRE BOTTLE MOUNTING BRACKET IN THE RT NOSE COMPARTMENT. PULLED THE CABLE AWAY FROM THE BOLT AND INSPECTED IT FOR DAMAGE, NONE NOTED. COMPLIED WITH NLG RELEASE CABLE RIGGING, ADJUSTED ITS TENSION AS REQUIRED AND VERIFIED IT IS FREE FROM INTERFERENCE WITH THAT BRACKET'S MOUNTING BOLT. SAFETIED THE CABLE'S TURNBUCKLE. WORK DONE IAW MM CHAPTER 32-34-00. OP CHECKS AND NLG MANUAL RELEASE IAW MM CHAPTER 32-00-00.
CLIMBING THROUGH 40,500 FT, HEARD A LOUD CLUNK AND HAD AN AMBER GEAR DISAGREE N CAS MESSAGE APPEARED WITH ASSOCIATED HASHED NOSE GEAR INDICATION. MAINTAINED 200 KIAS AND DIVERTED. DURING DESCENT, PASSING 24,000 FT, ANOTHER CLUNK AND GEAR SHOWED UP AND LOCKED. COMPLIED WITH THE EMERGENCY CHECKLIST, LOWERED GEAR NORMALLY AND RECEIVED THREE GREEN DOWN INDICATIONS. BLEW DOWN GEAR IAW CHECKLIST AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. FOUND NLG UPLOCK SWITCH TO BE DEFECTIVE, REPLACED UPLOCK SWITCH.
NOSE WHEEL FAILED TO RETRACT AS INDICATE BY GREY BOX AND LOUDER THAN USUAL NOISE. COMPLETED CHECKLIST WHICH INCLUDED USING GEAR BLOWDOWN BOTTLE. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND THAT THERE WAS A DELAY ON NOSE GEAR TO LOCK IN ABOUT 3 SECONDS LONGER THAN MAINS.PERFORMED NUMEROUS LANDING GEAR OPERATIONAL CHECKS IN REF TO 680A M/M 32-00-00 REV 4 WITHOUT DEFECT. ALL GEAR WAS RETRACTED UP AND LOCKED WITHIN PROPER FRAME AND ALL INDICATIONS/COLORS SEQUENCED PROPERLY. ALSO CHECKED NWS CENTERING FUNCTION IN REF. TO 680A M/M 32-50-00 REV 4. ALL PROVED SATISFACTORY. CONTACTED TEAM LATITUDE-RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE NOSE WHEEL POWER STEERING CONTROL UNIT .DUE TO THAT WHEN THE NOSE WHEEL IS TURNED TO L//H OR R/H THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING SHOULD PUSH TO CENTERING POSITION . IN THIS CASE THE NOSE WHEEL IS NOT CENTERING WHEN WE HOLD BY HAND THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING WHEEL AND NOT GIVING ENOUGH PRESSURE TO CENTER THE WHEEL AND RETRACT. REMOVED POWER STEERING UNIT PN: 9914650-2, SN: 0516 IN REFERENCE TO CESSNA MODEL 680A MM CHAPTER 32-50-50 (REV. 4). POWER STEERING CONTROL UNIT POST-MAINTENANCE CHECKS STILL REQUIRED.
