NLG: ON TAXI NOSE WHEEL SHIMMY OBSERVED AT LOW AND HIGH TAXI SPEEDS. RIGHT MLG BRAKE: ON TAXI OUT DOING THE BRAKE CHECK IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE BRAKES ARE EXTREMELY GRABBY, FURTHER ON TAXI THE RIGHT BRAKE SEEMS TO BE MAKING A SHRILLING/ GRINDING SOUND THAT IS QUIET DISTINCT. SOUNDS LIKE METAL RUBBING ON METAL . SOUND MORE PROMINENT FROM THE RIGHT SIDE . REMOVED AND REPLACED TORQUE LINK UPPER AND LOWER ATTACH BOLTS. IAW CE-680A CMM 32-20-02. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE #3 & #4 BRAKE ASSY. IAW AMM 32-40-05. OPS CHECK GOOD.
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: EMERGENCY LIGHTING AT SEAT #3 - UNDER SEAT AND READING LIGHT AND RIGHT WING INSPECTION LIGHT INOPERATIVE. GAINED ACCESS TO EMER. BAT AND REMOVED FATUITY BATTERY, INSTALLED A REPAIRED BATTERY, COMPLETED OPS CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED, CHARGED BATTERIES FOR 1 HOUR, ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW CE680A AMM 33-50-06
GEAR DISAGREE L AMBER CAS: AFTER THE GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED DOWN, THE LEFT GEAR INDICATOR SHOWED A YELLOW X, WHICH LATER TURNED TO RED ALONG WITH AN AURAL WARNING. THE BLOWDOWN HANDLE WAS PULLED AND THE CARPET IN THE BACK WAS RAISED ALONG WITH THE MANUAL LANDING GEAR HANDLE RELEASE PULLED UP. //SIGNOFF// AFTER THE ARES DOWNLOAD REVIEW BY TEXTRON AVIATION AND CONFIRMED THE L/H UP LOCK SWITCH FAULTY. REMOVED MLG UP LOCK SWITCH P/N OFF 6948101-3 S/N N/A INSTALLED NEW MLG L/H UP LOCK SWITCH P/N ON 6948101-3 S/N N/ A IAW CE-680A MM 32-32-025 ⢠RECONFIGURED TO THE ORIGINAL NORMAL CONFIGURATION AND INSTALLED THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PNEUMATIC BOTTLE CONTROL CABLE BACK TO THE NORMAL POSITION SAFETIED USING THE COPPER WIRE AS REQUIRED. LIFTED THE AIRPLANE ON JACKS AND ACCOMPLSIHED THE EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW CE-680A MM 32-30-00, SERVICED THE THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PNEUMATIC BOTTLE SERVICING IAW CE-680A MM 12-10-45 ACCOMPLISHED THE EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL CHECK. MAIN LANDING GEAR UPLOCK SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT AND TEST MULTIPLE TIMES GREEN LIGHT DOWN AND LOCK AND WHITE UP LOCKED. NO DEFECTS NOTED A TIME WOTK PERFORMED IAW CE-680A MM 32-32-00 ⢠VERIFED AGAIN THREE GREEN LIGHTS AND DOWN JACKED THE AIRCRAFT , RESET ALL CIRCUIT BREAKERS TO THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION AND RESERVICED THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR IAW CE-680A MM 12-10-45 ⢠AIRCRAFT OK FOR CONTNIUED SERVICE.
DURING VISUAL APPROACH INTO APA, WHEN MLG HANDLE SELECTED DOWN, RT MLG PRESENTED A YELLOW X & CAS MESSAGE MLG DISAGREE RT ILLUMINATED. RAN CHECKLIST, PULLED BLOWDOWN & MLG UPLOCK RELEASE. CONDITION REMAINED. TOWER VERIFIED ON A LOW APPROACH THAT ALL 3 MLG VISIBLE & A RETURN FOR LANDING WAS MADE WITHOUT INCIDENT. MLG AURAL WARNING CONTINUED FROM FLAPS SELECTED FULL THRU LANDING & UNTIL ACFT SHUTDOWN. JACKED ACFT, PERFORMED T/S & FOUND A FAULTY, INTERMITTENT RT UPLOCK SWITCH. REPLACED RT MLG UP-LOCK SWITCH ASSY, OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 32-32-25, 32-32-00, 7-10-10.
UPON LANDING, THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT LT PULL WITH EQUAL APPLICATION OF BRAKE PEDALS. IT IS BOTH FELT & A SQUEAL HEARD THROUGHOUT THE APPLICATION. BRAKES APPEAR EVENLY WORN. GAINED ACCESS TO JUNCTION OF AFT BRAKE CONTROL CABLES & LOWER BRAKE CONTROL CABLES. VERIFIED RIGGING MEASUREMENTS OF CONTROL CABLE LINK BLOCKS & FORWARD CABIN BRAKE CONTROL BRACKET TO BLOCKS. RIGGING SATIS. PERFORMED GVI OF BRAKE CABLES FWD CABIN BRAKE CONTROL BRACKET. NO DEFECTS NOTED. WORKED IAW 32-42-00 THROUGH SECTION 2, STEP C-2. R & R LT ANTI SKID VALVE IAW MM 32-46-10. REMOVED DUE TO INTERNAL FAILURE. INSTALLED OVERHAULED CONTROL VALVE. ALL POST MAINT CHECKS SATIS. OPS TEST SATIS. TAXI CHECK SATIS IAW AMM 32-46-10.

DURING THE POWER ON CHECKLIST NONE OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD ILLUMINATE WITH THE SWITCH SELECTED TO ARM. THE MAIN BATTERIES WERE CONNECTED BUT OFF. THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS ILLUMINATE WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH IN THE ON POSITION. SIGN OFF. TECH GAINED ACCESS TO THE EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH AND PERFORMED RESISTANCE CHECKS THROUGH THE SWITCH TO VERIFY SWITCH GOOD. RESISTANCE CHECKS GOOD. GAINED ACCESS TO ALL 4 OF THE G-SWITCHES AND MANUALLY RESET THE G-SWITCHES. PERFORMED RESISTANCE CHECKS OF ALL THE F-SWITCHES TO ENSURE THEY WERE NOT INTERMITTENT CONCERNS. POWERED UP AIRCRAFT NORMALLY USING THE APU AND ALLOWED THE EMERGENCY BATTERIES TO CHARGE FOR IHR. PERFORMED OPERATIONS CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS. OPERATIONS CHECKS GOOD. EMERGENCY LIGHTS WILL NOW COME ON WITH POWER OFF AND SWITCH IN THE ARM POSITION. PERFORMED A FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS AFTER CHARGING. EMERGENCY LIGHTS TURNED OFF AFTER 15 MIN CONTACTED. REPLACE ALL 4 BATTERIES, DUE TO NOT LASTING THE FULL LENGTH OF TIME REQUIRED. ALL WORK PERFORMED IN REF WITH 33-S0-01 OF THE CE-680A WRM, 33-50-00 AND 33-50-11 OF THE CB-680A AMM.
WING ANTI-ICE CROSSFLOW VALVE HAS CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE LOWER FUSELAGE SKIN. DURING INSPECTION FOUND THERE IS A CHAFFED SPOT ON THE LOWER SKIN P/N: 7411392-12 OF SKIN BOND ASSEMBLY P/N: 7411391-2 FROM A STUD PROTRUDING FROM THE ANTI-ICE CROSS FLOW VALVE THAT HAS RUBBED INTO THE SKIN. THE AFFECTED AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 1/8" ROUND. BLENDED THE AREA AND NDT'D FOR CRACKS. NO CRACKS NOTED. THICKNESS MAPPED AS REQUIRED. DEPTH AT THIS TIME IS .007" DEEP. BLENDED DAMAGE AREAS IAW SRM 51-70-03 AND INSTALLED 0.040" SHIM AND 0.031 THICK RUB BLOCK OF PHENOLIC SHEET IAW REPAIR DEFINITION FR-680A-0062-6814 DATED 7/09/19.
COCKPIT ODOR BURNING SMELL. STRONG BURNING ODORS PRESENT BOTH WHEN STARTING THE APU AND THE ENGINES. ODOR SEEMS TO BE STRONGEST AFTER STARTING APU AND SELECTING BLEED AIR ON. REMOVED AND REPLACED HEPA CABIN AIR FILTER. REMOVED HEPA FILTER PN 9914836-1 SN 0093.
DURING TAXI OUT AFTER PERFORMING THE ANTI-ICE TEST, SMOKE APPEARED IN THE COCKPIT AND CABIN. APU WAS OFF.
UPON LANDING SMOKE FILLED THE CABIN AND THE COCKPIT. MAINTENANCE RECEIVED 2 FAULT CODES: 142 & 144. INSPECTED APU FOUND EVIDENCE OF DE-ICING FLUID IN INLET, FLUSHED OUT WITH CLEAN COLD WATER. PERFORMED GROUNDS RUNS ON BOTH ENGINES AND APU. NO MORE SMOKE IN CABIN OR COCKPIT IAW AMM 20-40-10.
FORWARD AND AFT MAIN ENTRY DOOR SUPPORT LUG BEARINGS HAVE MIGRATED ALLOWING THE SUPPORT TO CHAFE. REPAIRED IAW DQ10536RRL1.
