MAIN DOOR IS GETTING HARD TO CLOSE , HALF WAY ON INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR HANDLE EXTRA FORCE IS REQUIRED TO CLOSE HANDLE. GAINED ACCESS TO ACFT AND MAIN CABIN DOOR. UPON INTITIAL OPENING SAW THAT THE CURTAIN MAY HAVE BEEN RESTRICTING THE MED FROM CLOSING SMOOTHLY. ADJUSTED CURTAIN TO SATY CLEAR AND PERFORMED MULTIPLE SATISFACTORY OPS CHECKED, NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 52-10-00.
DISBONDS WERE NOTED AT THE ENDS OF STRINGERS COMMON TO 7422086-3/-4 LH/RH UPPER OUTBOARD WING SKIN BOND ASSEMBLIES AT FIVE LOCATIONS. FOUR OF THESE DAMAGE LOCATIONS WERE ADDRESSED PER THE STANDARD REPAIR SR-680A-ATA57-47522. THE DISBOND BETWEEN 6922462-3 STR #05 OUTBOARD LH AND 7422087-5 UPPER OUTBOARD FWD DOUBLER IS BEYOND THE LIMITS OF THE STANDARD REPAIR WHICH WILL BE ADDRESSED ON THIS REPAIR FR-680A-0068-14859.
DISBONDS ON THE UPPER WINGS BETWEEN THE OUTBOARD END OF STRINGERS AND THE COMMON SKIN DOUBLERS. THE SKIN AND COMMON DOUBLERS MAY ALSO EXHIBIT A GRADUAL DEVIATION FROM CONTOUR IN THESE REGIONS. THE EXTENT OF THE DEFECT IS LOCATED USING ULTRASONIC INSPECTION AND CORRECTED BY ADDING FASTENERS AND ADHESIVE TO THE DISBONDED AREAS. REFERENCE FIELD REPAIR SR-680A-ATA57-47522 DATED 05/MAR/2025.
ON APPROACH, MLG DOWN & 3 GREEN, AMBER WOW MISCOMPARE CAS DISPLAYED. EXECUTED A GO AROUND & MLG WOULD NOT RETRACT. LEFT MLG DOWN & CAS MESS EXTING. CHKD WOW MISCOMPARE ABNORMAL CKLST, & RETURNED FOR A NORMAL LANDING. POWERED ACFT & PERFORMED AN ARES DOWNLOAD. T/S WOW MISCOMPARE IAW WDM 32-60-01-02 & FOUND NLG SQUAT SWITCH INTERMIT WHEN MANIPULATING NLG WIRE HARNESS, INDICATING DAMAGED WIRES. AFTER ARES REVIEW, CONFIRMED FINDINGS. R & R NLG WIRE HARNESS IAW 32-20-00. DURING INSTALLATION OF HARNESS, FOUND CONNECTOR PG028 CLOCKED WRONG. DISASSEMBLED BACKSHELL & CLOCKED. PERFORMED MLG OPS CHECKS IAW 32-00-00, NO FAULTS. TAXI LIGHT OPS CHECK GOOD. PERFORMED NW STEERING OPS CHECK IAW 32-50-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
RIGHT MLG BRAKE: ON LANDING WHEN PRESSING BRAKES THE RIGHT BRAKE HAS A VERY LOUD GRINDING NOISE AND AIRCRAFT STARTS TO PULL EXCESSIVELY TO THE RIGHT. // SIGNOFF// PERFORMED BLEED OF THE BRAKES 3 AND 4 PER CE680A AMM 32-42-00. SOME AIR CAME OUT FROM BRAKES 3 AND 4. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE BRAKES SUCCESSFULLY PER CE680A AMM 32-42-00
NLG: IN CRUISE AT FL400 HEARD A SINGLE LOUD BANG FROM NOSE AREA FOLLOWED SHORTLY THERE AFTER BY YELLOW SLASHES ( MISCOMPARE ) INDICATION ON NOSE GEAR STATUS INDICATOR AND A AMBER CAUTION CAS MSG NOSE DISAGREE N. ON DESCENT THRU APPROXIMATELY 38,500 AND 205 KIAS WE EXPERIENCED RAPID BANGING NOISE FROM THE NOSE AREA. PERFORMED NOSE GEAR BUMPING IN FLIGHT QRH PROCEDURE. AFTER RUNNING THAT CHECKLIST WE ALSO RECEIVED A AMBER CAUTION WOW MISCOMPARE CAS MSG. DURING APPROACH, WITH THE QRH PROCEDURE GUIDANCE, LANDING GEAR EXTENDED WITH 3 GREEN LIGHTS AND ALL CAS MSGS EXTINGUISHED. GAINED ACCESS TO THE AIRCRAFT AND PERFOMED VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE NLG AND NLG HARNESS. POWERED UP AIRCRAFT AND GAINED ACCESS TO AFT CLOSET TO RETREIVE THE ARES PASSWORD. DOWNLOADED ARES DATA TO PHONE AND SENT OFF TO TEXTRON FOR REVIEW. INTERROGATED THE CMC AND FOUND ALERT ID 1028 FOR THE NLG DISAGREE CAS. FOUND TROUBLESHOOTING DATA FOR THIS ALERT ID WITHIN THE MAINTENANCE MANUAL CALLED SIGNATURE FBO TO ASSIST WITH HANGAR SPACE AND WAS DENIED. CALLED AROUND ON THE FIELD AND WAS ABLE TO RECEIVE SPACE FROM SKYPLACE FBO. PREPPED AIRCRAFT FOR REPOSITION. REF. CESSNA MODEL 680A AMM 45-40-00 AND 32-20-00 SPOREE 10/18 REPOSITIONED AIRCRAFT INTO HANGAR, JACKED AIRCRAFT AND INSPECTED NLG STRUT EXTENSION. STRUT EXTENSION IS 9.75 AND WITHIN MANUAL SPECS. APPLIED POWER AND PERFORMED LANDING GEAR. SWING WITH NO ISSUES. SWUNG GEAR UP AND POWERED DOWN AIRCRAFT TO PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING ALERT ID 1028. GAINED ACCESS TO GSD2 THROUGH THE BAGGAGE AND VERIFIED GROUND TO GSD2 (UT401) PIN 41PT401 WHEN THE GEAR IS UP AND LOCKED. NO DEFECTS WERE FOUND. REF. CESSNA MODEL 680A AMM 32-00-00. TECHS TIMED OUT FOR THE EVENING SPOREE 10/18 TEXTRON WAS ABLE TO REVIEW THE ARES AND THEY INFORMED US TO LOOK AT NLG UPLOCK SWITCH. MCC ASKED ERIC HOLCOMB TO ALSO REVIEW THE ARES AND ERIC ADVISED THERE ARE MULTIPLE ISSUES THAT HE NOTICED. ONE BEING SOMETHING TO DO WITH EITHER SERVICING OF NLG STRUT OR RIGGING OF THE NLG UPLOCK SWITCH. TWO BEING THAT PCB NC106 LOST POWER FOR A LITTLE TIME DURING FLIGHT. MCC WENT AHEAD AND PLACED PCB ON ORDER. PROCEEDED WITH CHECKING OF THE NOSE STRUT FOR CORRECT SERVICING/ PRESSURES AND EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT GOOD. PERFORMED MEASUREMENT OF ACTUATION OF THE NLG UPLOCK SWITCH PLUNGER AND FOUND MEASUREMENT ONLY TO BE AROUND .025 INCH AND NEEDED TO BE AROUND .15 + OR - .03. PERFORMED NECCESSARY ADJUSTMENTS AND GOT THE ACTUATION TO THE CORRECT MEASUREMENT.WHILE PERFROMING GEAR SWINGS THE HANGER GPU COULD NOT HANDLE LOAD. HAD TO WORK WITH RAMP GUYS TO FIGURE OUT A SOLUTION AND CAME UP WITH A HANGER SHUFFLE TO GET ACCESS TO OUTSIDE GPU UNIT. PERFORMED 3 GEAR CYCLES AND NOTICED THAT THE NLG WAS FLUTTERING TRYING TO GO UP AND LOCK. NOTIFIED MCC OF PROGRESS AND THEY ADVISED TO GO AHEAD AND WAIT FOR PCB TO REPLACE. LOWERED AIRCRAFT FOR WHEELS TO TOUCH PER FRO'S REQUEST. RESEARCHED TOOLING REQUIRED FOR OPS CEHCKS OF PCB AND ORDERED FROM KDAL AS REQUIRED.PCB TO ARRIVE 10/20 IN THE MORNING SOMETIME. AWORK PERFORMED IN REF TO CE-680A AMM 32-32-00. KM 10/19 PCB GOT DELAYED TO 1130L, PICKED UP TOOLING FROM SIGNATURE AND WENT TO AIRCAFT TO GAIN ACCESS TO PCB AND TO WORK ON PPW. RECEIVED PCB, REMOVED PCB NC106 PN 6768156-5 SN 0431 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW LANDING GEAR-WOW PCB ASSY PN 6768156-5 SN 33115063-4 AS REQUIRED. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME,

CABIN EMERG LIGHT: EMERGENCY LIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE IN ARM (WITH BATTERIES IN OFF POSITION) DURING THE POWER ON CHECKLIST. THEY ALL ILLUMINATE NORMALLY IN THE ON POSITION. CHARGED CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS PER TC FLT 33-1001 AND 680 A.M.M. 33-50-00. OPS CHECK GOOD.
NOSE GEAR: AFTER RETRACTING LANDING GEAR WE GOT A GEAR DISAGREEMENT N CAS MESSAGE AND THE NOSE GEAR GEAR DISPLAY WAS YELLOW WITH HORIZONTAL LINES. WE RAN CHECKLIST, PUT GEAR DOWN AND GOT 3 GREEN LIGHTS, SO WE RETURNED FOR LANDING. REVIEWED FLIGHT ON ARES AND FOUND THAT THERE WAS INDICATION THAT NOSE GEAR DID START TO RETRACT BUT NO INDICATION OF THE GEAR BEING UP AND LOCKED ON PCB NF206, PCB NC106 OR GSD 2. SPOKE WITH TEAM 680 AND RECOMMENDED CHANGING NOSE GEAR ACTUATOR. REMOVED NOSE GEAR ACTUATOR P/N:9914676-3 S/N:0516 PER MM 32-30-05. INSTALLED RENTAL ACTUATOR P/N 9914676-3 S/N 0344 WITH ALL NEW ATTACHING HARDWARE IAW 680A MM 32-30-05. ACCOMPLISHED NOSE LANDING GEAR CASTER ADJUSTMENT, LANDING GEAR CLEARANCE CHECK, AND LANDING GEAR OPERATIONAL CHECK. ALL CHECK GOOD.
DURING DEPARTURE AND AFTER GEAR RETRACTION, THE AMBER GEAR DISAGREE N CAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED ALONG WITH THE NOSE GEAR DISPLAY INDICATOR SHOWING A DIAGONAL AMBER/BACK BARBER POLE TYPE FLAG. AS PER THE CHECKLIST, THE GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED DOWN AND GEAR EXTENDED. (NOT USING THE BLOWDOWN METHOD). GEAR DOWN INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL AND LANDED WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. *** CORRECTIVE ACTION *** REMOVED AND REPLACED UPLOCK SWITCH, RIGGING CHECK GOOD, OPS CHECK GOOD, ALL WORK DONE IAW CE-680A AMM CH 32-32-10.
WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING MEL 29-23-01 HYD SYS. THE HYDRAULIC PUMP HARNESS WAS FOUND BURNT. REPLACED AUX HYDRAULIC PUMP AND PWR AND GROUND 6AWG WIRES ALONG WITH GROUND STUDS PN 6918358-2 AND MS21042L4. REPLACED AUX PUMP REMOTE CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER PN SM600BA125A15.
