THE PILOT REPORTED THAT ON APPROACH INTO KABQ THE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND, THE CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED IMMEDIATELY AFTER LOWERING HE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR HANDLE TO THE GEAR DOWN POSITION. THE PILOT PERFORMED A GO AROUND TO INVESTIGATE THE DISCREPANCY. THE PILOT PERFORMED A MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION, RECEIVED A THREE GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION AND LANDED AT KABQ WITHOUT INCIDENT. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE IN KABQ PERFORMED GEAR SWINGS ON JACKS AND DUPLICATED THE DISCREPANCY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED GEAR DOWN FROM KABQ TO THE AMERIFLIGHT MAINTENANCE BASE AT KPHX. AMF MAINTENANCE FOUND A SHORTED WIRE IN THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL CIRCUIT, REPAIRED SHORTED WIRE, GEAR SWINGS WERE COMPLETED AND FOUND SATISFACTORY,
ON THE ROLL-OUT AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING AT KMQY, THE PILOT REPORTED NO BRAKE AUTHORITY ON THE RT SIDE. DURING HIS POST FLT INSP IT WAS DISCOVERED THE NR 3 WHEEL TIRE ASSEMBLY WAS NOT PRESENT ON THE AC AND THE NR 3 BRAKE ASSEMBLY APPEARED TO BE LEAKING. MX DETERMINED THE AXLE NUT AND COTTER PIN WERE STILL IN PLACE. FURTHER INSPECTION, INDICATED THE OUTER WHEEL BEARING HAD FAILED AND ALLOWED THE WHEEL TO SLIP OFF OF THE AXLE. MX REMOVED THE NR 3 POSITION BRAKE ASSY AND VISUALLY INSP THE MAIN LANDING GEAR STRUT ASSEMBLY AND EXPOSED SECTION OF THE AXLE AND NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. MX THEN INSTALLED A SERVICEABLE BRAKE ASSY AND MAIN/WHEEL TIRE ASSY AT THE NR 3 POSITION. MX THEN REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 4 WHEEL/TIRE ASSY WITH A SERVICEABLE UNIT. THE BRAKE SYS WAS BLED IAW THE AMM. POST SERVICING OPERATION WAS NORMAL AND NO LEAKS DETECTED.
EN-ROUTE FROM KBUF TO KROC AT 7000â MSL THE PILOT OBSERVED THE MASTER CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATE & THE RT ENG SUFFERED A COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER RESULTING IN THE AUTO FEATHER SYS ENGAGING. THE PILOT FOLLOWED THE ENG FAILURE CHECKLIST & SECURED THE RT ENG. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY & RETURNED TO KBUF, LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. INSPECTION OF RT ENG REVEALED THE THREADS ON THE MOUNTING STUD & CAP NUT THAT ATTACH THE LOW PRESS FUEL FILTER HOUSING WERE STRIPPED CAUSING THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING TO SEPARATE REDUCING FUEL FLOW TO RT ENG. R & R THE ATTACHMENT STUD & NUT CAP IAW MM 28-00-00.
