PROBLEM: DURING DEPARTURE AND CLIMB FROM KTEB THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED " INTERMITTENT ENGINE FIRE CAS IN FLIGHT". THEY DIVERTED TO KOAJ, THE CAS EXTINGUISHED BEFORE THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. RESOLUTION: THE AIRCRAFT AND ENGINE BAY WAS INSPECTED. NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE WAS FOUND. THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND SAFE FOR FERRY FLIGHT TO KPSM WHERE REPAIRS COULD BE MADE. THE FLIGHT FROM KOAJ TO KPSM ALSO OCCURRED WITHOUT INCIDENT. WIRING OF FIRE OVERHEAT DETECTION SYS. WAS FOUND FAULTY AND REPLACED IAW WDG 26-10-00.
PROBLEM: DURING CLIMB-OUT ON FLIGHT FROM KDLZ TO KSAV, THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE FOLLOWING DISCREPANCY. "DURING CLIMB OUT, RED ENGINE FIRE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER LIGHT TURBULENCE ENCOUNTER. NO OTHER INDICATIONS OF FIRE". AS A RESULT THEY DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO KCMH WERE THEY LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. RESOLUTION: THE GIO MODULE IN THE MAU WAS FOUND TO BE THE ISSUE. THE GIO MODULE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IAW AMM 12-B-31-42-00-00A-920A-A. OPS CHECK GOOD. PERFORMED FIRE/OVERHEAT DETECTION ADJ/TEST IN ACCORDANCE WITH 12-B-26-10-00-00A-903A-A OPS CHECK GOOD NO DEFECTS NOTED.
PROBLEM: INBOUND TO KPSM FROM KHPN THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED, "ENGINE FIRE CAS INFLIGHT. CLEARED BEFORE LANDING. NO ENGINE FLUCTUATIONS OR EVIDENCE OF FIRE." RESOLUTION: REMOVED AND REPLACED ENGINE FIRE DETECTOR LOOP IAW PILATUS AMM 12-B-26-10-01-00A-920A-A. OPS TEST GOOD. PN OFF/ON: 975.12.10.012 SN OFF: 213987 SN ON: 218478
AFTER DEPARTING,IN CRUISE FLIGHT THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED BOTH FUEL PUMPS CYCLING ON & OFF 5 SEC. INTERVALS. COMPLETED QRH PROCEDURE, CYCLING PERSISTED. THE AIRCRAFT MADE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING WHERE IT LANDED SAFELY. THE MAINTENANCE CREW ON SITE INSPECTED THE AIRFRAME FUEL FILTER AND FOUND NO DEFECTS IAW AMM 12-B-28-20-01-00A-250A-A. THE FUEL LOW PRESSURE SWITCH WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IAW AMM 12-ZB-28-20-02-00A-820A-A LEAK CHECKS AND OPS CHECKS WERE PERFORMED SATISFACTORY. HIGH POWER ENGINE RUNS WERE ALSO PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED ON DEPARTURE: GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT. CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. THE AIRCRAFT MADE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING WITHOUT INCIDENT. ON ARRIVAL TO THE ACFT, CONTRACT MAINTENANCE RESET THE LANDING GEAR POWER CIRCUIT BREAKER, PERFORMED EXTENSION/RETRACTION TEST ON NORMAL AND EMERGENCY GEAR SYSTEMS IAW THE AMM 12-B-32-30300-00A-903B-A AND 12-B-32-30-10-00A-903A-A WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ACMF AND FHDB FILED WERE DOWNLOADED AND SENT TO ENGINE MFG FOR REVIEW. NO FAULTS OR RELATED GEAR ISSUES WERE NOTED. THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
AFTER DEPARTURE, GEAR HANDLE IN UP POSITION. LT MAIN GEAR DOWN, NOSE GEAR UP. INDICATION 3 DOWN & LOCKED. EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION UNSUCCESSFUL. SPEED TURNS REQUIRED TO EXTEND & LOCK LT MLG. THE ACFT LANDED SAFELY. WIRING TRANSPORTING DRIVE & ENABLE COMMANDS FROM CSIO TO ACTUATORS WAS INSPECTED. ONE WIRE WAS FOUND TO HAVE A FAULTY SHIELD & PIN CONNECTION & WAS REPAIRED. NO OTHER DEFECTS WERE NOTED.
