L ENG EXCEEDANCE ON EICAS IIN FLIGHT AT FL 450. ITT THRESHOLD EXCEEDANCE. STRONG CONTINIOUS VIBRATIONS AND STRONG CONTINIOUS SHAKING OF THE AIRCRAFT. COMPLETED QRH AND ENDED UP SHUTTING THE ENGINE DOWN IN FLIGHT. DECLARED EMERGENCY AND LANDED SINGLE ENGINE. MX: STANDARD AERO IN WORK AT THIS TIME TO R&R ENGINE.
ON TAKEOFF POWER APPLIED, SMELL OF GUN POWDER SMOKE WAS APPAREMT, VISIBLE LIGHT SMOKE WAS APPARENT, AND WE ABORTED TAKEOFF RUN IMMEDIATLY. AFTER POWER REDUCRION SMOKE INTENSITY FELL. UPON ENGINE SHUTDOWN NO INDICATIONS OF ANY SMOKE OR SMELL. ONCE APU AIR CONDITION WAS TURNED ON, LIGHT SMELL/SMOKE. MX C/A: R&R AIR CYCLE MACHINE (ACM), OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
DURING CRUISE AT FL450, FLIGHT CREW RECEIVED AN AMBER WOW FAIL AND CYAN PROX SYSTEM FAULT CAS MESSAGES. CREW RAN THE RESPECTIVE CHECKLIST, CONSULTED WITH MX CONTROL AND ELECTED TO CONTINUE TO THEIR ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED DESTINATION. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED TO HELP MINIMIZE TASK LOADING IN THE COCKPIT DURING ARRIVAL. AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN KAPA. WHILE WORKING WITH MX CONTROL, CREW PERFORMED AN AIRCRAFT REBOOT AND ALL CAS MESSAGES CLEARED, AN âINFO ONLYâ DISCREPANCY WAS ENTERED INTO THE AIRCRAFT FLIGHT LOG. THERE HAVE BEEN NO REPEAT OCCURRENCES ON SUBSEQUENT FLIGHTS TO DATE.
WHILE AT FL450, FLIGHT CREW RECEIVED A "RED" CABIN ALT WARNING HIGH CAS MESSAGE, ALONG WITH A MASTER CAUTION WARNING AND AURAL ALERT. THE CREW DONNED THEIR O2 MASKS; DEPLOYED THE PAX O2 MASKS AND IMMEDIATELY BEGAN AN EMERGENCY DESCENT. CREW INFORMED ATC THAT THEY WANTED TO DIVERT, AND WERE GIVEN DIRECT TO AIRPORT, WHERE THEY LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. A FERRY FLIGHT INSPECTION WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND THE ACFT WAS FLOWN FOR TROUBLESHOOTING. MAINTENANCE TECHS FOUND A FAILED RT SAFETY VALVE. SAFETY VALVE PN 81141A010303 WAS REPLACED WITH A REPAIRED UNIT. PRESSURIZATION, OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE PERFORMED, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. A SUCCESSFUL MAINTENANCE CHECK FLIGHT WAS ACCOMPLISHED, AND THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING TAKEOFF, THE FLIGHT CREW NOTICED WHAT SEEMED TO BE AN ELEC SMELL ALONG WITH SMOKE IN THE CABIN. THE CREW LEVELED OFF AT 2000â & THEN RETURNED TO FIELD, WHILE DOING SO THEY TURNED THE AIR SOURCE OFF & RAM AIR ON, THIS QUICKLY CLEARED THE SMOKE. AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED. AFTER TROUBLESHOOTING THE DISCREPANCY, FOUND THE AIR CYCLE MACHINE, PN 3471A020000, HAD SEIZED. THE ACM WAS REPLACED WITH AN INSPECTED & TESTED UNIT. LEAK & OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ENROUTE, FLIGHT CREW RECEIVED A WEIGHT ON WHEELS AND A PROXIMITY SENSOR FAIL CAS MESSAGE. REFERENCED QRH AND CONTACTED MAINTENANCE CONTROL. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT NORMAL GROUND SPOILER, NOSE WHEEL STEERING, AND NORMAL BRAKING COULD BE COMPROMISED AFTER TOUCHDOWN. THE DECISION WAS MADE TO DIVERT DUE TO LONGER RUNWAYS AND AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND THE ONLY SYS FAILURE WAS GROUND SPOILER DEPLOYMENT. FLIGHT SPOILERS WERE SELECTED TO THE EMERGENCY POSITION AFTER TOUCHDOWN BUT DID NOT RESPOND. THE PROXIMITY SENSOR ELECTRONIC UNIT HAD FAILED. A TESTED AND INSPECTED UNIT WAS INSTALLED. OPS CHECKED NORMAL AND ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE WITH NO FURTHER FAULTS.
ON APPROACH, THE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND WHEN THE FLIGHT CREW SELECTED LANDING GEAR TO THE DOWN POSITION. A (SYS PROX FAULT) MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED FOLLOWED BY A (GEAR DISAGREE FAULT) MESSAGE. THE GEAR DISAGREE CHECKLIST WAS PERFORMED ALONG WITH SOME TROUBLESHOOTING. THE FLIGHT CREW ELECTED TO DIVERT DUE TO FAVORABLE CONDITIONS. THE EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION WAS USED SUCCESSFULLY TO EXTEND AND LOCK THE LANDING GEAR. A SAFE, UNEVENTFUL LANDING WAS MADE. THE ACFT WAS FERRIED TO A MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOR TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR. A FAULTY MLG SELECTOR VALVE WAS DETERMINED TO BE THE CAUSE OF THE DISCREPANCY. THE VALVE WAS REPLACED AND OPS CHECKS WERE NORMAL. THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
