EMERGENCY LIGHTING: EXIT LIGHT OVER SEAT 7 DOES NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN EMER LIGHTS ARE IN ARM AND MAIN BATTERIES ARE OFF. RAN QR PROCEDURE. LIGHT COMES ON FOR A SHORT TIME THEN GOES OUT DURING OPS CHECK. LIGHT ITSELF WORKS(BATTERIES ON, EMER ARM, PAX SAFETY SELECTED).ATTEMPTED TO MEL LIGHT. MEL STATES TO SELECT EMER LIGHTS TO ON WITH BATTERIES OFF. NO LIGHTS COME ON WHEN EMER LIGHT SWITCH IS IN THE ON POSITION. CHARGED THE BATTERIES FOR THE CABIN EMER LIGHTS FOR THE REQUIRED 2 HOURS AND PERFORMED OPERATION CHECKS OF EMERGENCY BATTERIES, NO DEFECTS NOTED, OPS CHECK GOOD REF CESSNA 680A MM 33-50-00. NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED PER MCC.
DURING FLIGHT HAD AN AMBER GSD 2 FAIL. THE QRH HAD US PERFORM A BLOW DOWN OF THE LANDING GEAR. REMOVED GSD41 DUE TO FAILURE AND INSTALLED REPAIRED GSD41 PN 011-01457-01 SN 2JH007449 REPAIRED BY MANUFACTURER. INSTALLED IAW MM 31-40-10. LOADED SOFTWARE, ANDOPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
GEAR DISAGREE NOSE APPEARED IN CRUISE WITH LOUD BANG & HASH MARKS ON NOSE GEAR INDICATION. TOOK OFF FROM KPGD NORMALLY AND ALL GEAR RETRACTED WITH NORMAL INDICATIONS. CLIMBING THROUGH 39300 FOR 40000 FT FOR CRUISE, HEARD A LOUD BANG FROM THE NOSE & THE HASH MARKS APPEARED OVER NLG INDICATIONS & GEAR DISAGREE NOSE CAS MESSAGE APPEARED. LEVELED AT 39000 AND RAN GEAR DISAGREE N QRH, WHICH THEN REFERENCED US TO LANDING GEAR WILL NOT RETRACT QRH. DECIDED TO CONTINUE TO CRUISE TO PIT AT 39000 & RUN MLG NOT RETRACT QRH ON DECENT, BELOW 18000. THROUGHOUT CRUISE HASH MARKS REMAINED & GEAR DISAGREE N CAS MESSAGE REMAINED. DESCENDING THROUGH 29700 FOR KPIT (APPROX 2101Z TIME) ACTIVATED SPEED BRAKES TO MAINTAIN SPEED. ON ACTIVATING SPEED BRAKE, HEARD ANOTHER LOUD BANG FROM NLG & NOSE INDICATION SWITCHED FROM HASH MARKS TO UP, & GEAR DISAGREE CAS MESSAGE DISAPPEARED. CONTINUED DECENT TO BELOW 18000 & LOWERED GEAR EARLY. GEAR EXTENSION NORMAL & HAD 3 GREEN. LANDED & TAXIED NORMALLY & POST FLT INSPECTIONS DID NOT REVEAL ANY OBVIOUS ANOMALIES. INSPECTED UPLOCK HOOK NLG GEAR SERVICING & NLG BRACKETS & FOUND NO DEFECTS. PERFORMED GEAR SWINGS WITH NO DEFECTS. DOWNLOADED ARES & SENT TO MANUFACTURE & THEY RECOMMENDED REPLACING NLG UPLOCK SWITCH DUE TO FAILURE R & R NLG UPLOCK SWITCH IAW MM 32-32-10 & PERFORMED LANDING GEAR ADJUSTMENT TEST IAW MM 32-00-00 OPS CHECKED GOOD. MAIN DOOR: AMBER DOOR OPEN LIGHT WILL NOT EXTINGUISH. CABIN DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED ALSO. RAN THE CHECKLIST AND COULD NOT GET THE " CHECK HANDLE/PUSH TO OVERRIDE LIGHTS " TO FLASH. VERIFIED THE SQUAWK, CAS MESSAGE IN VIEW AND WOULD NOT RESET. ACCESSED MED EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION AND INSPECTED SENSORS, HARNESS AND CONNECTIONS. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. DISCONNECTED, CLEANED WITH ALCOHOL AND RECONNECTED ELEC PLUGS PC/JC027, PC/JC048 AT THE CABIN DOOR THRESHOLD IN REF TO CE-680A WD 52-10-01-01. OPERATED MAIN CABIN DOOR. OPERATION IS NORMAL NOW AND NO FAULT PRESENT. CLOSED UP ACCESSED AREA. ORIG SUB DATE: 10/13/2022

PREFORMED THE RESET AND NOTHING HAPPENED, DID THE RESET AGAIN AND IT WORKED, CLOSED THE DOOR 4 TIMES WITH APU RUNNING AND CAS EXTINGULISHED AND ALL REQUIRED STATES OF ARES LIVE VIEW TO TURNED GREEN AND SWITCH SHOWING CLOSED. SHUT THE PLACE DOWN AND CLSOED THE DOOR 3 TIMES ON BATERY POWER WITH ISSUES. DISCONNECTED BATTERY AND THEN RECONNECTED 20 MINUTES LATER AND CLOSED THE DOOR WITH BATTERY/AND WITH APU AGAIN AND NO CABIN DOOR WARNINGS. OPS CHECK GOOD. C/W CE680A AMM 52-70-00 AND AFM 3-510-28

MAIN DOOR: REPEAT WRITE-UP. THE MAIN CABIN DOOR DID NOT AUTOMATICALLY FALL UPON OPENING THE DOOR. CREW HAD TO PUSH ON IT TO GET THE DOOR TO CONTINUE TO GO DOWN. WE CLOSED THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE AND TRIED OPENING AND THE DOOR POPPED OUT OF THE FRAME BUT DID NOT AUTOMATICALLY COME DOWN. REMOVED AND REPLACED GAS STRUT. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF MAIN CABIN DOOR. OPS CHECK GOOD. MAIN CABIN DOOR FALLS WITHOUT ASSIST OF PERSONNEL. MAIN CABIN DOOR AUTOMATICALLY COMES DOWN. NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED AT THIS TIME. ALL MAINTENANCE PERFORMED IAW CESSNA MODEL 680A AMM 52-10-40.
SMOKE IN COCKPIT / CABIN: FIRST NOTICED ACRID BURNING SMELL IN BAGGAGE AREA BUT WAS QUICKLY APPRENT IN COCKPIT AND CABIN. WE IMMEDIATELY SHUT DOWN APU. JUST PRIOR TO THIS, WE NOTICED THAT THE COFFEE MAKER WOULD NOT POWER ON. WE RE-CYCLED THE INTERIOR MASTER BUT THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE POWER PROBLEM AT THE COFFEE MAKER.///SIGN-OFF///REMOVED AND REPLACED STATIC INVERTER IAW CE-680A AMM 24-20-20. OPS CHECK GOOD.
MAIN ENTRY DOOR WILL NOT OPEN AUTOMATICALLY UPON LIFTING SILVER RELEASE HANDLE. CREW HAD TO PUSH ON DOOR FROM INSIDE IN ORDER TO OPEN MAIN ENTRY DOOR. DOOR HARD TO OPEN. AIRCRAFT NOT PRESSURIZED ON GROUND. PERFORMED GENERAL VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR SEAL STRIKERS AND LATCHING PINS, NO DEFECTS OR SIGNS OF DOOR BINDING WITH AIRFRAME NOTED. PER MCC REQUEST, I GAINED ACCESS TO INNER DOOR HANDLE "PUSH TO OPEN" BUTTON ELECTRICAL WIRING AND LATCHING MECHANISM. CLEANED AND INSPECTED WIRING AND INNER DOOR LATCHING COMPONENTS. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR OPERATIONAL CHECK, IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00. OPERATIONS CHECK IS GOOD.

GEAR DISAGREE R AMBER CAS ILLUMINATED - UPON SELECTING GEAR DOWN, AN AMBER "X" APPEARED IN THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR INDICATOR POSITION ALONG WITH AN AMBER "GEAR DISAGREE R" CAS. WE RAN QRH R1, AND N1 RESULTING IN GEAR BLOWDOWN. LANDING WAS NORMAL. ENGINES WERE SHUT DOWN CLEAR OF THE RUNWAY AND AIRCRAFT TOWED TO ATLANTIC AVIATION. // SIGNOFF // JACKED A/C. REPLACED R/H MLG UP LOCK SWITCH PER IAW MM 32-32-25. PERFORMED LANDING GEAR EMERGENCY EXTENSION RESET. RESET THE THE CONTROL ARM ON GEAR EXTENSION PNEUMATIC BOTTLE AND RE-SAFTEY WIRED WITH BREAK AWAY WIRE. RESET THE PNEUMATIC OVERRIDE VALVE ON THE HYDRAULIC MANIFOLD. PER AMM 32-34-00. PERFORMED LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONAL TEST AND BLED AIR FROM HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. PERFORMED MULTIPLE GEAR SWINGS. DOWN JACKED A/C CLOSED ACCESS GAINED PER AMM 32-00-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECK PASS

SMOKE ODOR IN THE COCKPIT, DESCENDING THROUGH 14,000 FT AND DISSIPATED AROUND 4,000 FT. NOTICEABLE SOOTING AT LEFT AND RIGHT GENERATORS. AIRCRAFT DEPARTED DURING THESE FIRE EVENTS. INSPECTED ENTIRE AIRCRAFT FOR SMOKE ODOR IN FLIGHT DECK & CABIN AREAS, RAN BOTH LT & RT ENGINES, APPLIED ELECTRICAL LOADS, APPLIED BLEED AIR LOADS AND WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE SMOKE ODOR IN THE CABIN AND FLIGHT DECK. OPENED LT & RT ENGINE COWLS AND INSPECTED, FOUND NO DEFECTS IAW AMM 24-20-05, 71-10-00, AND 21-10-00. COFFEEMAKER SMELLED BURNED (ELECTRICALLY). REMOVED AND REPLACED THE COFFEEMAKER WITH A NEW UNIT, OPS CHECKED NORMAL IAW AMM 25-30-01.
THRU V1, RUDDER BECAME EXTREMELY STIFF AND REMAINED STIFF UNTIL AFTER AIRCRAFT CAME TO A TAXI. YAW DAMPER WAS CYCLED ON THEN OFF TWICE AND APPEARED TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. REMOVED FAULTY LT AND RT RUDDER BIAS STRUTS. INSTALLED LT AND RT UNIT IAW HAWKER 1000 MM 27-20-10. OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER AIRBORNE & SELECTING MAIN AIR VALVE TO ON, SMOKE BEGAN TO BELLOW THROUGHOUT THE COCKPIT AND CABIN AREAS. MAIN AIR VALVES WERE IMMEDIATELY SELECTED OFF AND RAM AIR SELECTED TO FULL ON, TO HELP CLEAR THE COCKPIT. ON THE GROUND, ON REINSPECTION OF THE NR 1 ENGINE, OIL WAS FOUND ALL OVER THE NI INLET FAN. FOUND NR 1 ENGINE OIL SERVICED TOO HIGH. REMOVED EXCESS OIL. PERFORMED COMPRESSOR WASH, OPS CHECKED ENGINE. ALL SATISFACTORY IAW P&W 305B MM CH 71-00-00 AND HAWKER 1000 MM CH 12-10-00.
MASK RUBBER FACE CUP IS TORN. ON THIS ACFT, 6 MASKS WERE FOUND UNSERVICABLE. ALL MASKS HAD THE SAME DISCREPANCY. ONE NEW MASK WAS FOUND TORN PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, ITS MFG DATE WAS 6-95. P/N WAS SAME, BUT AT REV. U.
