ALL WORK IAW CESSNA 680A AMM33-50-06.
MAIN CABIN DOOR EXIT SIGN INOP. NO MEL RELIEF. REMOVED EXIT SIGN FOR TROUBLESHOOTING. CONNECTED FC2031 TO A 28VDC POWER SUPPLY & UNIT FUNCTIONS. PLUGGED FC2031 BACK INTO ACFT WIRING & LIGHT STILL DIM, NOTICED WITH MOVEMENT OF WIRE HARNESS, LIGHT WOULD FLICKER BETWEEN NORMAL BRIGHTNESS & BACK TO DIM. ON FURTHER INSPECTION OF WIRING HARNESS, FOUND A DIODE NEAR CONNECTOR JC2066 WOULD BE MOVED & GENTLY FLEXED, & EACH MOVEMENT CAUSED EXIT SIGN TO FLICKER. CHECKED DC2013 DIRECTLY NEXT TO DC2014 & LIGHT DID NOT FLICKER. CAUSE TO BE AN INTERMITTENT LOSS OF CONTINUITY AT DIODE. R & R DIODES DC2014 & DC2013 IAW SPM 20-30-15. INSTALLED CABIN DOOR EXIT SIGN IAW IMM 25-20-33. OPS CHECK GOOD.

MAIN EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: EXIT SIGN OVER THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR GOES OUT THEN FLICKERS THEN COMES BACK ON THEN STAYS OUT. MED EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT WOULD MOMENTARILY FLASH & GO DIM BUT NOT COMPLETELY OFF. CHECKED FOR PROPER GROUNDING AND ANY SHORTS TO GROUND. ALL CHECKS ARE SATISFACTORY. ALLOWED TIME TO CHARGE EMERGENCY BATTERIES AND RECHECKED. ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTING CHECKED OUT WELL. EMERGENCY LIGHTING POWER SUPPLY BATTERY EXERCISE PROCEDURE WAS PERFORMED. ACCOMPLISHED TASK CARD, ALL CHECKS ARE SATISFACTORY. ALL LIGHTING MAINTAINED PROPERLY ILLUMINATED LONGER THAN 10 MINUTES. CONNECTED GPU TO AIRCRAFT AND CHARGED BATTERY PACKS. PERFORMED OPS CHECKS GOOD AND OPS CHECKS GOOD. RECONNECTED GPU AND CHARGED BATTERY PACKS BACK UP. ADVISED MCC AND CLOSED UP A/C. AVIONICS ACCESS DOOR HARDWARE: ON INITIAL CLIMB OUT PASSING 9000FT, ROLLING WINGS LEVEL FROM A LEFT HAND TURN, THE AMBER NOSE DOOR OPEN R EICAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED. AFTER LANDING WE OBSERVED THAT THE UPPER FORWARD RIGHT NOSE DOOR LATCH WAS PARTIALLY OPEN. // SIGNOFF // INSPECTED R/H NOSE DOOR LATCHES FOUND ALL TO BE SERVICEABLE AND FUNCTIONING NORMAL REF CE680A AMM 52-40-12
MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR NEEDS ADJUSTMENT. DOOR HANDLE AND VENT DOOR ON THE 6 PACK STAY ILLUMINATED. AFTER SERVERAL TRIES REOPENING AND CLOSING THE DOOR THE LIGHTS WOULD EXTINGUISH // SIGNOFF// AFTER INVESTIGATING, FOUND INNER DOOR HANDLE LINKAGE RODS WERE OUT OF RIG. ADJUSTED BOTH INNER HANDLE RODS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CESSNA 560XL AMM 52-10-01. OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME.

MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE CANNOT BE LOWERED INTO THE LOCKED POSITION EITHER INTERNALLY OR EXTERNALLY. NOTICED NR 2 LOCKING PIN ON LEFT SIDE OF DOOR IS NOT LINED UP IN IT'S SLEEVE WHICH IS CAUSING BINDING. UPON ARRIVAL WE FOUND THE AFT MID DOOR PIN WAS JAMMED INSIDE THE DOOR ASSEMBLY FROM RETRACTING TOO FAR. WE REMOVED DOORSTEPS AND ACCESS PANELS FOR ACCESS TO THE DOOR PIN AND RESET IT BACK INTO ITS BUSHING. OPERATION OF THE DOOR IS THEN NORMAL, HOWEVER IF THE DOOR HANDLE IS OPENED WITH TOO MUCH FORCE IT WILL ALLOW THE LINKAGE TO RETRACT THE DOOR PIN FAR ENOUGH TO JAM IT AGAIN. CHECKED DOOR PIN RETRACTION, DOOR PIN RETRACTION SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN .320" FROM DOORFRAME. FOUND MID AND UPPER PINS MEASURING AS FOLLOWS: UPPER AFT .360", UPPER FORWARD .340", MID AFT .380", MID FORWARD .335", LOWER PINS FLUSH. COMPLIED WITH DOOR RIG, PER 52-10-04, ADJUSTED ALL NECESSARY PUSHRODS (3 THRU 13) AND ADJUSTED IDLER POSITIONS. CHECKED DOOR PIN RETRACTION AND ALL UPPER AND MID DOOR PINS MEASURE AT .200". CHECKED OPERATION OF DOOR NUMEROUS TIMES, OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. SECURED ALL HARDWARE AND CLOSED ACCESS PANELS AND DOORSTEPS. PERFORMED FINAL OPERATIONAL CHECKS, OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. WORK PERFORMED IAW CESSNA 680A MM CH 52-10-04. DURING RIG FOUND A WORN BELLCRANK AND LOCK ASSEMBLY WORN. REMOVED AND REPLACED BELLCRANK P/N 7411311-77 & 7411311-70. WORK PERFORMED IAW CESSNA 680A MM CH 52-10-04.
MAIN DOOR SILVER HANDLE IS BINDING AND CANNOT BE LOWERED TO THE LATCHED/CLOSED POSITION. SAME OCCURENCE HAPPENS WHEN TRYING TO LATCH FROM THE OUTSIDE. DOOR REMAINS IN 'OPEN' POSITION. GAINED ACCESS TO THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR LATCHING/LOCKING MECHANISM AND CLEANED THE UPPER AFT LOCKING PIN WHICH WAS FOUND TO BE SEIZED DUE TO DEBRIS. PERFORMED GVI AND VARIOUS SUCCESSFULL OPERATIONAL CHECKS. REINSTALLED ALL ACCESS GAINED. WORK DONE, IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
REPEAT WRITE-UP FROM 1/1/21. MAIN DOOR SILVER HANDLE IS BINDING AND CANNOT BE LOWERED TO THE LATCHED/CLOSED POSITION. SAME THING HAPPENS WHEN TRYING TO CLOSE THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE, THE EXTERNAL LATCH IS BINDING AS WELL. DOOR REMAINS IN THE 'OPEN' POSITION.
UNABLE TO CLOSE CABIN DOOR COMPLETELY. DOOR WILL CLOSE AND LEVER WILL GO DOWN BUT NOT COMPLETELY. LIGHT WILL NOT EXTINGUISH. PREVIOUSLY PLANE WAS IN HEAVY RAIN ON THE GROUND BEFORE THIS FLIGHT AND MAY HAVE ICE IN THE MECHANISM. HAD AIRCRAFT MOVED INTO HANGER TO THAW. UPON ARRIVAL DOOR WAS FULLY CLOSED AND LATCHED. FOUND DOOR OPEN LIGHT WILL NOT EXTINGUISH. REMOVED ACCESS PANELS AND INSPECTED AND CLEANED ALL CABIN DOOR PROXIMITY SWITCHES. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR WARNING SYSTEM TEST, CABIN DOOR CLOSES AND OPEN LIGHT EXTINGUISHED AT THIS TIME, REF CE680AMM 52-70-00. REMOVED MOISTURE AND DEBRIS FROM CABIN DOOR SIGHT WINDOW. REINSTALLED ALL ACCESS PANELS. CABIN DOOR OPERATES NORMALLY AT THIS TIME.
APPROX 5 MIN AFTER TAKEOFF, BAGGAGE DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. RAN QRH, FOUND FORWARD TOP BAGGAGE LATCH VERY SLIGHTLY RAISED AFTER LANDING. VERIFIED THAT CAS MESSAGE EXTINGUISHES WHEN ALL LATCHES WERE RE-LATCHED. SIGN OFF. CHECKED ALL LATCHES ON BAGGAGE DOOR FOUND NO OBVIOUS DEFECTS, CLEANED AND LUBED ALL LATCHES, WHILE MONITORING LIVE DATA ON CMC OPERATED ALL THE BAGGAGE DOOR LATCHES INDIVIDULLY NUMEROUS TIMES AND ITS DISPLAY CORRESPONDINGLY OPEN CLOSE FOR ASSOCIATED LATCH ON CMC AS REQUIRED NO DEFECTS NOTED. BAGGAGE DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED AND CLEARED PROPERLY, AS REQUIRED WITH DOOR BAGGAGE OPEN AND CLOSE. BAGGAGE DOOR OPERATIONS CHECKS GOOD, REF CE-680A MM 52-30-01.
MAIN CABIN DOOR WILL NOT LATCH CLOSED. DOOR WILL RAISE NORMALLY, BUT CAN NOT CLOSE HANDLE FROM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. SIGNOFF. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR OPS CHECK AND FOUND THE CABIN DOOR LATCH TO BE JAMMED. REMOVED FWD AND AFT DOOR COVER, FWD AND AFT STEP COVER, LOWER STEP CAP, AND CABIN DOOR STEP. REMOVED PANEL BEHIND CABIN DOOR STEP TO GAIN ACCESS TO DOOR LATCH LINKAGE AND FOUND AFT CENTER LATCH TO BE OUT OF PLACE FROM DOOR STRUCTURE GUIDE. CORRECTED AFT CENTER LATCH BACK INTO DOOR STRUCTURE GUIDE AS REQUIRED. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF CABIN DOOR LATCH AND FOUND IT TO PERFORM SATISFACTORY, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. REINSTALLED PANEL DOOR PANEL BEHIND CABIN DOOR STEP. REINSTALLED CABIN DOOR STEP, FWD AND AFT STEP COVER, FWD AND AFT DOOR COVER, AND LOWER STEP CAP. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR RESET AS REQUIRED. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF CABIN DOOR SYSTEM AND FOUND TO PERFORM SATISFACTORY WITH NO DEFECTS OR CAS MESSAGE PRESENT. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CE680A AMM 52-10-50, 52-10-08 AND 52-10-00.
DURING CLIMBOUT THROUGH FL330 "RIGHT ENGINE FIRE" AURAL ALONG WITH RIGHT SIDE MASTER WARNING. ONLY ONE AURAL WARNING, LASTED ONLY ABOUT ONE SECOND. NO SECONDARY INDICATIONS. HIT EVENT MARKER AFTERWARDS. PERFORNNED ENGINE FIRE SELF-TEST. SELF-TEST PASSED. INSPECTED RT ENGINE OUTER ENGINE FIRE DETECT LOOP, NO DEFECT NOTED. PERFONNED ENGINE FIRE DETECTOR ASSEMBLY TEST, TEST PASSED. ALL WORK WAS DONE IAW MM CHAPTER 26-10-05. MC WANTS TO LOOK AT ARES FILES. REVIEWED ARES DATA AND FOUND THE CAS MESSAGE POSTED MAY 31 AT 16:21:09. THIS WAS CAUSED BY A MOMENTARY "FIRE DETECTED" OUTPUT THAT LASTED LESS THAN ONE SECOND FROM THE NZ208 RIGHT FIRE/SMOKE PCB. NO INPUTS TO THE PCB FROM THE FIRE DETECTORS AND TEST SWITCH WERE NOTED. SUSPECT A MOMENTARY FAULT WITH THE NZ208 PCB. PLACED A NEW PCB ON ORDER. VISUALLY INSPECTED RIGHT ENGINE FIRE LOOP OK TO INSTALL ENGINE COWLINGS REMOVED INTENNITTENT RIGHT FIRE/SMOKE NZ208 PCB(P/N 69680 L 5-5, SIN 0765) AND INSTA1LED ANEW PCB{P/N 6968015-5, SIN 0778) IAW MM 24-60-35. SYSTEM OP CHECKS GOOD IAW MM 24-60-05 AND 26-25-00.
AFTER TAKEOFF, BOTH MAINS FAILED TO RETRACT. RAN APPROPRIATE CHECKLIST. USED THE LANDING GEAR BLOWDOWN BOTTLE. LANDED NORMAL WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES. ELECTRICALLY CHECKED THE NOSE SQUAT SWITCH FROM THE NOSE GEAR CONNECTOR PG028 IN AIR U-V WAS 0 OHMS V-W WAS OPEN X-Y WAS 0 OHMS Y-Z WAS OPEN NO FAULTS NOTED IN THE SWITCH OR NOSE GEAR WIRING JACKED AIRCRAFT AND CHECKED NLG LOWER BARREL PRESSURE AND FOUND IT TO BE AT 49 PSI RAN LANDING GEAR THROUGH 5 CYCLES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AFTER 24 HOURS BEFORE DISASSEMBLING THE NLG LOWER BARREL CHECKS PSIS AN ADDITIONAL TIME THE UPPER SCHRADER VALVE WAS AT 20 PSI WHICH WAS A 20 PSI DROP IN 24 HOURS REMOVED THE LH NLG WHEEL ASSEMBLY PN 3-1538-1 SN T0239 RELEASED N2 PRESSURE FROM THE UPPER AND LOWER BARRELS REMOVED LOWER BARREL SCHRADER VALVE AND THOROUGHLY CLEANED WITH SOLVENT REMOVED LOWER BARRE ASSEMBLY INSTALLED SUPPLIED CPD680A-32-4 SEAL KIT AND INSTALLED LOWER BARREL IAW 32-20-01 WHILE SERVICING STRUT WAS UNABLE TO SERVICE AIR PRESSURE PROPERLY REMOVED HIGH PRESSURE AIR FITTING AN MEASURED BOSS AND BOSS MEASURED .422" AND SHOULD BE .690" HIGH PRESSURE AIR FITTING IS BOTTOMING IN BOSS REMOVED LOWER BARREL PN 6742170-8 SN 26681024 AND PLACED NEW LOWER BARREL L AND REMAINDER OF ASSEMBLY AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS. REMOVED HIGH PRESSURE AIR SERVICE VALVE AND NOTICED VALVE IS NOT FULLY OPEN WITH VALVE REMOVED VALVE IS ABLE TO BE FULLY OPENED MEASURED DEPTH OF VALVE BOSS AND IT MEASURES .422" PER ENGINEERING DRAWING VALVE BOSS SHOULD MEASURE .690" REMOVED LOWER BARREL FROM NOSE GEAR PREP AND PAINT IAW MM 20-36-00 TRANSFERRED METERING PIN PN 6742171-3 FROM OLD LOWER BARREL TO NEW LOWER BARREL IAW CMM 32-20-01 OKAY TO INSTALL NEW LOWER BARREL INSTALLED NEW LOWER BARREL PN 6742170-8 SN 27693930 INSTALLED LOWER TORQUE LINK AND UPLOCK ROLLER BRACKET WORK DONE REF CMM 32-20-01 SERVIC

RIGHT MLG LANDING GEAR DID NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKEOFF AND AFTER THE LANDING GEAR LEVER WAS SELECTED UP. THE GEAR DISAGREE RIGHT CAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED, ACCOMPANIED WITH A YELLOW BOXED RIGHT MAIN GEAR DOWN INDICATION. THE GEAR DISAGREE CHECKLIST AND THE LANDING GEAR WILL NOT RETRACT CHECKLIST WERE COMPLETED. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RT MLG PCB IAW AMM 24-60-40, REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RT MLG UPLOCK SWITCH, PERFORMED AN OPS CHECK OF THE SWITCH AND PCB. OPS CHECKED GOOD. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
