EMERG EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: WITH THE AIRCRAFT BATTERY SWITCH ON AND EMER SWITCH ON, ALL EMER LIGHTS WORK NORMAL. WHEN TURNING THE AIRCRAFT BATTERY SWITCH OFF, THE EXTERIOR EMER LIGHTS OVER THE WING AND THE EXIT SIGNS IN THE AFT PART OF THE CABIN DO NOT WORK. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACED BATTERY. OPS CHECK GOOD. MAIN DOOR HARDWARE: THE MAIN CABIN DOOR OVER CENTER BAR THAT CONNECTS THE HANDLE TO THE DOOR HAS SHEARED OFF WHEN WE ATTEMPTED TO PULL THE DOOR CLOSED. // SIGN OFF // REMOVED AND REPLACED DOOR LOWER ACTUATING LEVER TUBE ASSY, ROD END, DRIVE ARM, AND HARDWARE IAW CE560XL AMM 52-10-01. OPERATIONAL CHECK OF DOOR SATISFACTORY. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
MAIN DOOR: MED IS HARD TO LOCK, AND VERY DIFFICULT TO UNLOCK BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE AIRCRAFT. HAD DIFFICULTY OPENING DOOR FROM INSIDE, HAD TO CYCLE HANDLE 2 X'S TO RELEASE DOOR PINS // SIGNOFF // PERFORMED MAIN ENTRY DOOR LUBRICATION AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME. NO UNNECESSARY FORCE REQUIRED TO OPEN OR DOSE DOOR ANYMORE. ALL MAINTENANCE PERFORMED IAW CE-560XL AMM 12-21-03
MAIN EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: IN FLIGHT, PYRAMIDAL EXIT SIGN AND THE TWO RED EXIT SIGNS ADJACENT THE MAIN CABIN DOOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED IRRESPECTIVE OF "PASS SAFETY" SWITCH POSITION. PASSENGERS HAD MAIN CABIN DOOR EXIT LIGHT ILLUMINATED FOR ENTIRE FLIGHT EVEN WHEN WE SELECTED THE PASS SAFETY TO OFF. OTHER COMPONENTS OF THE PASS SAFETY SYSTEM WORKED NORMALLY. AFTER SHUTDOWN, IT REPEATED: BATTERY ON, EMER LIGHTS TO ARM, AND THE FORWARD PYRAMIDAL EXIT SIGN AND ADJACENT RED EXIT LIGHTS REMAINED ILLUMINATED IN ALL THREE PASS SAFETY SWITCH POSITIONS: PASS SAFETY, OFF, AND SEATBELT ON. (THOSE THREE LIGHTS SHOULD EXTINGUISH WHEN PASS SAFETY IS SELECTED TO OFF, OR SEAT BELT ON.) // SIGNOFF // REMOVED FWD AND AFT EMERGENCY BATTERY PACKS AND INSTALLED OVERHAULED UNITS, PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS WITH NO DESCEPANCY NOTED. POWER BRAKE CB: REPEAT WRITEUP; PWR BRKS CB POPPED AT 500' AGL ON APPROACH. PREVIOUS WRITEUP INDICATES THE SAME CB POPPED ON THE GROUND A DAY EARLIER. BOTH INCIDENTS OCCURRED AFTER POWER HAD BEEN ON THE AIRCRAFT FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR. CB WAS RESET FOR LANDING AT DIVERT AIRPORT. // SIGNOFF // VISUALLY INSPECTED PNUEMATIC BRAKE BOTTLE AND WAS FOUND TO BE FULL. REMOVED UNSERVICEABLE BRAKE PUMP MOTOR PN MP50B-L SN 3666. INSTALLED AN OVERHAULED BRAKE PUMP MOTOR PN MP50B-J SN 4844. OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS FOUND TO BE SATISFACTORY. ACCOMPLISHED REF: CE560XL MM 32-42-06.

REMOVED DEFECTIVE AFT EMERGENCY BATTERY PACK P/N 9913-1 S/N 991 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED OVERHAULED EMERGENCY BATTERY PACK P/N 9913.1 S/N 834. CHARGED EMERGENCY BATTERY PACKS FOR APPROXIMATELY 1.75 HOURS AND PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL/OPERATIONAL TEST WITH NO FAULTS OR DEFECTS NOTED, IAW CESSNA CE-560 XL MM33-50-01-2 AND TC-5XL-33-191202R1 01/19/2020.

MECHANICALLY BLENDED 8 AREAS CORROSION ON LT AND RT HORIZONTAL STAB PIVOT FITTINGS 6631102-29 AND -30, PERFORMED ULTRASONIC AND EDDY CURRENT INSPECTIONS AND REPORTED TO ENGINEERING FOR DISPOSITION. CLEANED TREATED, PRIMED AND TOP COATED AREAS PER REPAIR MEMO.
NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT STAY RETRACTED. JACKED ACFT & CHECKED DIMENSION ON NOSE STRUT. SWING GEAR SEVERAL TIMES COULD NOT DUPLICATE AT THIS TIME. INSP NLG UPLOCK ASSY & FOUND TO BE BINDING. REMOVED UPLOCK ACTUATOR & FOUND ALL COMPONENTS ATTACHED TO ACTUATOR SHAFT ARE CORRODED. BOSS FOR CLEVIS PIN ON ACTUATOR SHAFT IS ALSO CORRODED. R&R SN 4170, ACTUATOR, SN 4824, WITH NEW PARTS IAW MM CHAPTER 32-30-05. INSTALLED ACTUATOR & COMPLIED WITH ALL FUNCTIONAL & LEAK CHECKS. ALL CHECKED GOOD. VERIFIED INSTALLATION OF THE UPLOCK HOOK & OPERATION, GEAR SWING WITH FREE FALL & BLOW DOWN. RESET GEAR & BLED, SERVICED NITROGEN & SAFETIED EMER GEAR CABLE. ALL OPS & LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
RIGHT ENGINE VIBRATION ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF. NOTICEABLE ACFT TREMOR WAS FELT IN THE CONTROLS. TROUBLESHOT AND COMPLIED WITH ENGINE VIBRATION SURVEY IAW MCC AND MANUFACTURER. REMOVED AND REPLACED RTH ENGINE. COMPLIED WITH OPS CHECK AND VIBRATION LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. CONTINUED TROUBLESHOOTING AND FOUND DEFECTIVE WIRING AT RT ENGINE FIREWALL BULKHEAD CONNECTOR. REMOVED AND REPLACED DEFECTIVE WIRING. OPS CHECKED SATISFACTORY AT THIS TIME. COMPLIED WITH ENGINE PERFORMANCE RUN AND OPS CHECK, FOUND SATISFACTORY AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK DONE IAW MM 7-7-30-00 AND 71-00-03.
ON APPROACH, MOVED LANDING GEAR HANDLE TO DOWN POSITION AND NOTHING HAPPENED. DISCONTINUED THE APPROACH AND LT GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION. ON GO-AROUND THE GEAR CAME DOWN WITH NORMAL LANDING GEAR EXTENSION NOISE AND 3 GREEN GEAR DOWN INDICATIONS. ACCOMPLISHED UNEVENTFUL LANDING. RETRACTION TESTING CARRIED OUT IAW AMM 32-30-00. TROUBLESHOOTING CARRIED OUT IAW AMM 32-30-00. FAULT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. LANDING GEAR CONTROL HANDLE REPLACED IAW MM 32-30-01.
ON APU/ACM STARTUP, UNUSUAL ODOR IN COCKPIT AND CABIN LIKE SHOE POLISH OR POSSIBLY SEWING MACHINE OIL. ALTHOUGH ODOR APPEARS TO GO AWAY WHILE SITTING INSIDE JET, GOING OUTSIDE FOR A FEW MINUTES AND RETURNING, ODOR IS VERY NOTICEABLE. COULD NOT DETERMINE IF PROBLEM IS WITH APU OR ACM. FOUND APU OVERSERVICED, OIL ACCUMULATED IN APU CONTAINMENT PAN, OIL ON RT STAB AND TAIL. REMOVED HALF QUART FROM APU. SERVICED IAW MM 12-11-03. REMOVED INLET AND EXHAUST DUCTS ON APU AND INSPECTED ACM FOR ANY OIL. REMOVED, CLEANED AND REINSTALLED COALESCER SOCK IAW MM 21-51-00. RAN APU FOR ONE HOUR, NO LEAKS OR SMELL. OPS CHECKS GOOD.
NR 1 OIL PRESSURE WENT INTO THE YELLOW. PROCEDURE COMPLETED. THEN WENT BELOW 20 PSI, MASTER WARNING AND LOW OIL PRESSURE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. ENGINE SHUTDOWN IAW CHECKLIST. ON POSTFLIGHT, SIGHT GAUGE EMPTY (WAS FULL AT DEPARTURE) AND OIL ALL OVER COWLING. OIL TEMP WAS NORMAL AND NO OTHER INDICATION. FOUND OIL LEAKING FROM LT ENGINE DRAINS, REMOVED LT ENGINE DRAIN ASSY, CLEANED LT ENGINE, GROUND RUN, FOUND OIL LEAKING FROM LT ENGINES HMU DRAIN AND LT ENGINE ALTERNATOR DRAIN, REMOVED LT ENGINE HMU. R & R GARLOCK SEAL WITH NEW, REINSTALLED LT ENGINE HMU. GROUND RAN LT ENGINE AT TAKE OFF POWER, NO LEAKS FROM DRAINS NOTED IAW MM 72-60-01.
DURING A SCHEDULED MX CHECK, FOUND THIS SUPPORT BRACKET WITH A 2" CRACK IN THE CORNER RADIUS. HAVE SEEN SIMULAR CRACKED BRACKETS ON OTHER ACFT. THIS BRACKET SUPPORTS THE ECU.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND 2 FASTENERS MISSING FROM THE LT SIDE OF THE DORSAL FIN ASSY. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, FOUND THE FRESH AIR DUCT ASSY TO BE CRACKED IN 2 PLACES. IT APPEARS THAT THE CRACKED DUCT ASSY ALLOWED AIR PRESSURE TO EXPAND THE DORSAL FIN AND EVENTUALLY PULL THE RIVETS FROM THE LT SIDE DORSAL FIN SKIN.
ABORTED THE TAKEOFF BETWEEN 50 AND 60KTS DUE TO THE ILLUMINATION OF THE IAS COMPARISON MONITOR ON BOTH PFD'S. PURGED THE NR 1 AND NR 2 STATIC PRESSURE SYS REMOVING EXCESSIVE MOISTURE IN THE STATIC LINES AND R & R GASKET PN M25988-1-010 ON THE PILOTS LT STATIC DRAIN. PERFORMED AIR DATA SYS INSP/ CHECK, LEAK TESTING THE NR 1 AND NR 2 PITOT AND STATIC SYS. SYS TESTED NORMAL. WORK PERFORMED IAW THE MM 34-11-08 AND 34-11-01. TESTED AND INSPECTED THE PILOT AND CO-PILOTS STATIC PRESSURE SYS. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW NJA'S PART 1.5 GENERAL MM, REV 8.
