DISBONDS ON THE UPPER WINGS BETWEEN THE OUTBOARD END OF STRINGERS AND THE COMMON SKIN DOUBLERS. THE SKIN AND COMMON DOUBLERS MAY ALSO EXHIBIT A GRADUAL DEVIATION FROM CONTOUR IN THESE REGIONS. THE EXTENT OF THE DEFECT IS LOCATED USING ULTRASONIC INSPECTION AND CORRECTED BY ADDING FASTENERS AND ADHESIVE TO THE DISBONDED AREAS. REFERENCE FIELD REPAIR SR-680A-ATA57-47522 DATED 05/MAR/2025.
MAIN CABIN DOOR LATCH REQUIRES MORE FORCE THAN NORMAL CLOSING. "CORRECTIVE ACTION" PERFORMED THE MAIN CABIN DOOR HEALTH CHECK/DATA COLLECTION CHECK LIST REFERENCING CESSNA MODEL 680A MAINTENANCE MANUAL CH 52-10-04 NOTING THAT THE INNER HANDLE DID NOT CONTACT THE LOWER STOP BOLT. ADJUSTED THE STOP BOLT REF 680A MM CH 52-10-04 OPS CHECK GOOD.
THE MAIN CABIN DOOR ONLY CLOSED HALF WAY BEFORE STOPPING AND COMING BACK DOWN. THE 2ND TRY IT WENT UP 3/4 OF THE WAY BEFORE STOPPING. WE USED THE OVERIDE SWITCH WITH THE NORMAL LUFT SWITCH AND THE DOOR CLOSED.
MAIN CABIN DOOR GAS STRUT INOP. DOOR FALLS WITHOUT ANY RESISTANCE. LIFT MOTOR INOP CORRECTIVE ACTION: WE HAD TO REMOVED INTERIOR TO GAIN ACCESS. REMOVED INOP MAIN DOOR GEAR MOTOR P/N GM50A-3 S/N 0101 AND INSTALLED REPAIRED GEAR MOTOR P/N GM50A-3 S/N 0122 IAW AMM 52-15-05. OPS CHECK NORMAL. REMOVED DAMAGED MAIN DOOR BELL CRANK WELDMENT AND INSTALLED NEW BELL CRANK WELDMENT WITH ATTACHING HARDWARE IAW M/M 52-10-40 OP CHECK GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS.
DURING PREFLIGHT TEST, EMERGENCY LIGHT UNDER SEATS 3,5 AND 8 FAILED. PERFORMED EMERGENCY LIGHTS FAIL PREFLIGHT CHECKLIST. AFTER FIRST CHARGE ATTEMPT, SEATS 5 AND 8 CAME ON. AFTER SECOND CHARGE PERIOD, SEATS THREE LIGHT WAS STILL INOP. CORRECTIVE ACTION: MCC ELECTS TO REPLACED ALL E-LIGHT BATTERIES WITH TRUE BLUE BATTERIES. REMOVED #1 E-LIGHT BATTERY PN CBS28-1 SN 008028 AND INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY PN 6430028-1 SN C25-10156. REMOVED #2 E-LIGHT BATTERY PN CBS28-1 SN 2615M AND INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY PN 6430028-1 SN C25-10157. REMOVED #3 E-LIGHT BATTERY PN CBS28-1 SN 5159M AND INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY PN 6430028-1 SN C25-13384. REMOVED #4 E-LIGHT BATTERY PN CBS28-1 SN 005635 AND INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY PN 6430028-1 SN C25-13383. E-LIGHT SYSTEM OPS CHECKS GOOD AT THIS THIS TIME. WORK REFRENCING CE680A MM 33-50-06
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: SEAT 3 EMER LIGHT IS INOP AS WELL AS SEAT 3 AND SEAT 9 KICK PLATE EMER LIGHT INOP CORRECTIVE ACTION: PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHT SYSTEM WITH NO DEFECTS. WORK PERFORMED IN REF WITH CE-680A AMM 33-50-00.
LEFT MLG LANDING GEAR RETRACTION: UNABLE TO RETRACT LANDING GEAR ON TAKE OFF UPON TAKE OFF THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS LOCKED IN THE DOWN POSITION AND COULD NOT BE MOVED TO THE UP POSITION. NO CAS MESSAGES WERE DISPLAYED OR ANY OTHER INDICATIONS OF A PROBLEM WERE PRESENT. REMOVED INOP LANDING GEAR MODULE PN H218B SN 00203 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED OVERHAULED LANDING GEAR MODULE PN H218B SN 00958. IAW CE-680A AMM 32-30-30. NO DEFECTS NOTED. OPS CHECK GOOD.
LEFT MLG LANDING GEAR RETRACTION: AFTER TAKE OFF UNABLE TO RAISE GEAR (HANDLE WONT MOVE). AFTER 1-2 MINUTES, GEAR HANDLE MOVES AND RETRACTS NORMALLY. NO ISSUES WITH EXTENSION. COMPLIED WITH GVI OF NLG AND MLG ASSEMBLIES WITH NO DEFECTS. OF WOW SWITCHES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. CLEANED WOW SWITCHES REF. CE680A SPM 20-40-10.NOTED. COMPLIED WITH GVI. COMPLIED WITH GVL OF GEAR HANDLE WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. COMPLIED WITH NUMEROUS GEAR SWINGS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED REF. CE680A AMM 32-00-00. OPS CHECK GOOD.
MAIN DOOR: MAIN DOOR CLOSED, WHEN PULLING HANDLE DOWN THE HANDLE WILL NOT GO SMOOTHLY ALL THE WAY DOWN. IT STOPS HALF WAY AND WITH MORE PRESSURE IT THAN CAN BE PUSHED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO OPEN SAFELY. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED DOOR SHOOT BOLTS AND HANDLE HINGE POINTS. OPS CHECKS GOOD. REF AMM 52-10-00
ODORS IN COCKPIT / CABIN: ON THE DECENT, WE SELECTED THE ENGINE/STAB AND WING ANTI-ICE ON. MOMENTS LATER THE ODOR OF BURNING TOAST COULD BE NOTICED. IT WAS NOTICEABLE FROM THE OVER HEAD VENTS AS WELL. UPON TURNING OFF THE WING AND ENGINE/STAB ANTI-ICE THE ODOR DISSIPATED. IT WAS NOT NOTICED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. // SIGNOFF// RAN BOTH #1 #2 ENG. SEPERATELY AND TIJRNED ON ENG. A/I AND WING A/I, NO SMELL NOTICED. PER MCC REQUEST REMOVED DUCT BEFORE BOTH ENGINES MASS AIR FLOW VALVE AND CHECKED FOR OIL INSIDE PLUMBING. NO OIL FOUND. REINSTALLED MASS AIRFLOW VALVE TUBING. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CESSNA 680A AMM 30-10-00 &. 21·10-05. COULD NOT DUPUCATE.
AFTER TAKEOFF, A STRONG ODOR OF BURNING. INSPECTED CABIN, & SMELL FOUND THROUGHOUT ACFT. AFTER CLEARING. PRESSURIZED W/CHERRY PICKER, BURNING ODOR RETURNED STRONGER. DIVERTED, & FIRE DEPART COULD NOT FIND SOURCE, AFTER F/D CLEARED ACFT, TURNED APU ON, & SELECTED APU BLEED, ACFT FILLED WITH A STRONG BURNING ODOR. C/W TC-C68-49-1001 RE100CS BORESCOPE OF APU COMPRESSOR AREA FOR OIL LEAKAGE/COKING & TC-68A-21-181006M ENVIRON CONTROL SYS BLEED DUCT BURN, NO DEFECTS. R & R CABIN HEPA FILTER IAW TC-68A-21-181006M. INSPECTED BLEED DUCT RESTRICTOR, NO DEFECTS. MEASURED DRAG TORQUE ON ACM BEARING. BEARING DRAG MEASURED AT 112 OZ-IN. APU ON MEL IAW MEL CH 49-20-01. NO DEFECTS & NO ABNORMAL ODORS.
MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR IS SIGNIFICANTLY HARDER TO CLOSE THAN NORMAL. WHEN RAISING THE DOOR, THE LAST COUPLE OF INCHES THE DOOR BINDS AND BANGS TO A STUTTERED CLOSE. WHEN LOWERING THE DOOR, THE DOOR DOES NOT RELEASE INTO THE CONTROLLED FREEFALL UNTIL YOU HAVE GIVEN THE DOOR 3 OR 4 SIGNIFICANT SHOVES TO FREE IT OPEN. GAP CHECK GOOD. WHILE MONITORING CDMS, FOUND PROX SWITCH S6 REMAINS OPEN AT ALL TIMES, TROUBLESHOT TO FAULTY THRESHOLD HARNESS. PIN F @ PC048 TO PIN F @ PC027 HAS HIGH RESISTANCE AND OPENS · WHEN HARNESS IS MANIPULATED NEAR PCO27 REMOVED DEFECTED HARNESS PN 8469153-1 AND INSTALLED NEW HARNESS PN 8469153-1,WHILE INSTALLING NEW HARNESS PN 8469153·1 NOTICED POSSIBLE WRONG CLAMP AND SCREWS, INSTALLED NEW HARDWARE AND CLAMP AS REQUIRED.
