THE MAIN DOOR HANDLE IS DIFFICULT TO CLOSE DUE TO EXCESSIVE RESISTANCE. OPENING IS EASIER BUT STILL DIFFICULT CORRECTIVE ACTION: OPENED AND CLOSED MED AND DUPLICATED FAULT. WITH DOOR OPEN CYCLED DOOR LOCK MECHANISM MULTIPLE TIMES AND FOUND NO DEFECTS, INSPECTED DOOR FRAME PIN SOCKETS AND VERIFIED NO DAMAGE TO SOCKETS. FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF PINS HITTING IN THE WRONG LOCATION. CONTINUED AND EXTENDED DOOR PINS. FOUND PINS HAD NO LUBRICATION. CLEANED ALL PINS AND LUBRICATED AS REQUIRED. PERFORMED MULTIPLE OP CHECKS AND FOUND NOW FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. CONTACTED MCC WITH FINDINGS AND MCC ELECTS OKAT TO SIGN OFF. RESTORED A/C BACK TO ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION REF. CE-560XLS AMM 52-10-00.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING: WITH EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH IN ARM POSITION AFT CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND OVERWING EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED. IN OFF ALL GO OFF, IN ON ALL ILUMINATE. WE CHECKED ON BATTERY ONLY AND WITH APU GEN ON. CORRECTIVE ACTION; RESET THE G-SWITCH ON THE FWD AND AFT E-BATS. OPS CHECK GOOD. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CESSNA 560XL AMM CH 33-50-01.
RUDDER: REPEAT WRITE UP. AFTER APPLYING TAKEOFF POWER AND BEGINNING TAKEOFF ROLL AIRCRAFT PULLS SEVERELY TO THE RIGHT AND WITH FULL LEFT RUDDER UNABLE TO MAINTAIN RUNWAY CENTERLINE. BOTH ENGINES ADVANCED TOGETHER AND WERE PRODUCING EQUAL POWER. ACHEIVED A MAXIMUM OF LESS THAN 30 KNOTS. TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED. CORRECTIVE ACTION; REMOVED FAULTY RUDDER BIAS SOLENOID VALVE. INSTALLED OVERHAULED RUDDER BIAS SOLENOID VALVE IAW CE-560XLS MM 27-20-05. OPS/LEAK CHECK GOOD.
DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR MOVES OPPOSITE TO HANDLE. SHOWS LOCKED WHEN OPEN. MAIN DOOR HARDWARE: PIN COMING OUT ON LIFT ROD END. ITS MOVABLE BY FINGERS. REMOVED CABIN DOOR STEPS AND ADJUSTED GREEN DOOR LOCKED VISUAL INDICATOR BRACKET. RE-INSTALLED CABIN DOOR STEPS. WORK DONE IAW 560XL MM 52-10-01 AND 52-10-02. OPS CHECK GOOD.

MAIN DOOR VISUAL INDICATOR: WITH THE CABIN DOOR UNLOCKED, THE DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR ON THE STEP IS MOSTLY VISIBLE. WITH THE DOOR LOCKED, THE DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR IS LESS VISIBLE. MAIN DOOR VISUAL INDICATOR: WITH THE CABIN DOOR UNLOCKED, THE DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR ON THE STEP IS MOSTLY VISIBLE. WITH THE DOOR LOCKED, THE DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR IS LESS VISIBLE. ( PHOTO ATTACHED IS WITH THE DOOR UNLOCKED. ADJUSTED MCD DOOR LOCKED FLAG. OPERATION NORMAL. IAW MM 52-10-00.
MAIN DOOR: WHEN OPENING THE MAIN CABIN DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE, THE DOOR PINS RETRACT NORMALLY. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO PUT THE DOOR HANDLE BACK INTO THE CENTERED POSITION, THE DOOR PINS EXTEND AND THE 9 GREEN FLAGS ARE VISIBLE. THE MAIN CABIN DOOR CANNOT BE CLOSED WITH THE HANDLE GOING FROM BEING OPENED TO THE CENTERED POSITION OR THE DOOR PINS WILL COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE DOOR FRAME. VIDEO ATTACHED. FOUND DOOR HANDLE TORQUE TUBES AND CAMS TO BE VOID OF ANY LUBRICATION, WHICH CAUSED THE TWO TORQUE TUBES TO ACT AS ONE INSTEAD OF INDEPENDENTLY. LUBRICATED ASSEMBLY. OPS CHECK GOOD. REF. CESSNA 560XL MM 52-10-00.
MAIN DOOR HANDLE: MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE IS EXTREMELY STIFF AND DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND CLOSE BOTH INSIDE AND AND OUTSIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT///CORRECTIVE ACTION///LUBRICATED MAIN DOOR HANDLE LINKAGE IAW CE560XL AMM 12-20-52 AS REQUIRED OPS CHECK GOOD.
AFTER STARTING THE APU, WE WAITED APPROXIMATELY 3 MIN BEFORE THE BLEED AIR WAS TURNED ON. WITHIN 15 SECONDS OF TURNING THE APU BLEED AIR ON, THE CABIN STARTED TO FILL WITH A DUSTY HAZE. WE SHUT THE BLEED AIR OFF AND THE HAZE SLOWLY SUBSIDED. APPROX 1 MIN AFTER THE BLEED AIR WAS SHUT OFF, WE SHUT THE APU DOWN WITH NO ISSUES. THE HAZE THAT FILLED THE CABIN WAS AS A DUSTY TYPE HAZE THAT HAD A HOT DUSTY SMELL TO IT. PERFORMED APU TROUBLESHOOTING PER M/M 49-00-00 AND M/M 49-25-85. INSPECTED AND CLEANED APU INLET AND EXHAUST. PERFORMED DUCT BURN OUT TASK CARD TC-5XL21-120902M. REPLACED WATER COALESCER. PERFORMED APU INLET CLEANING AND POST RUN CHECKS. NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.
MAIN DOOR: WHEN OPENING AND CLOSING, DOOR STOPS MIDWAY AND TAKES CONSIDERABLE PRESSURE TO FINISH CLOSING OR OPENING. LUBED AND ADJUSTED COUNTERBALANCE MAIN ENTRY DOOR SPRINGS MX IAW MM 52-10-03. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
MAIN DOOR LOCK: DOOR PINS RETRACT INTO DOOR WHEN HANDLE MOVED TO OPEN POSITION AND EXTEND WHEN HANDLE MOVED TO NEUTRAL POSITION.///SIGN-OFF///CLEANED DEBRIS FROM THE AREA ABOVE AND BELOW THE CAM BELLCRANK ASSEMBLIES. MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES NORMAL AT THIS TIME. MAINTENANCE IAW CE-560XLS MM 52-10-01.
CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR CAME ON INFLIGHT AND STAYED ON CLIMBING THROUGH FL360. NO OTHER INDICATIONS PRESENT. TROUBLESHOT CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR COMING ON IN FLIGHT AND STAYING ON CLIMBING THROUGH FL360 AND FOUND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR PM007 LOOSE. TIGHTENED CONNECTOR. INSTALLED NEW MED VENT DOOR PROXIMITY SWITCH AND MED HANDLE SWITCH WITH NEW SWITCHES PER NJA MCC REQUEST. OP'S CHECKED SWITCHES. OP'S CHECKED OK AT THIS TIME. ADJUSTED MED AFT UPPER PIN CONNECTING PUSH ROD. PRESSURIZED AIRCRAFT TO SIMULATE CABIN PRESSURIZATION DURING CLIMB TO HIGH DIF. FOUND NO CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR COMING ON AT THIS TIME. WORK PERFORMED IAW C560XL MM 21-30-00, 52-10-00, 52-70-00, 30-11-00 AND SPM 20-30-10 AND 20-30-25. DEFERRED ITEM CODE 52-70-01-07.
UPON REACHING FL390 THE CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. ALL GREEN FLAGS WERE VISIBLE AND NO OTHER WARNING LIGHTS (SIX PACK) WERE ILLUMINATED.///SIGN-OFF///REMOVED MAIN CABIN DOOR STEPS PER CE-560XL MM 52-10-02. OPERATED MAIN CABIN DOOR WITH NO FAULTS FOUND. SHOOK DOWN WIRING AND FROZE SWITCHES. NO FAULTS FOUND. REMOVED AND REPLACED CABIN DOOR MONITOR PCB PER CE-560XL MM 24-51-02-2. MAIN CABIN DOOR INDICATION OPS CHECKS GOOD PER CE-560XL MM 52-70-00-2. REINSTALLED MAIN CABIN DOOR STEPS PER CE-560XL MM 52-10-02.
WITH APU RUNNING AND BLEED AIR ON, CABIN AND COCKPIT BEGAN FILLING WITH SMOKE. COMPLIED WITH BOROSCOPE INSPECTION OF THE APU INLET AND FOUND THE INSIDE FAN SEAL LEAKING. REMOVED AND INSTALLED APU IAW MM 49-10-00. AFTER REPLACEMENT OF APU REMOVED WATER SEPERATOR CONLESCER SOCK AND FOUND VERY DIRTY. REMOVED AND REPLACED COALEACER SOCK IAW MM 21-51-00. RAN APU AS REQ. OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD. NO ODOR NOTED.
DURING SCHEDULED MX, FOUND RT ELEVATOR OTBD HINGE BRACKET CRACKED. CRACK WAS FOUND USING EDDY CURRENT NDT METHOD, CRACK FROM THE EDGE OF THE PART INBD TO THE FIRST ATTACH HOLE IN THE LEG RADIUS.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND WEB ASSY CRACKED WHERE THE CABIN DOOR HANDLE ASSY ATTACHES TO IT WITH NUT PLATES. AFTER REVIEW OF IPC, DISCOVERED STIFFENER SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ON THIS ACFT DURING PRODUCTION. INSTALLATION OF STIFFENER AND OTHER MODIFICATIONS ARE PART OF SB560XL-52-14 FOR EARLIER SN ACFT.
ON GEAR RETRACTION, NOSE GEAR LIGHT AND GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. EXTENDED GEAR AND LEFT IT DOWN FOR REMAINDER OF FLIGHT. AFTER FLAP EXTENSION TO BOTH 15 AND 35 DEGREES HYD PRESSURE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND ACTIVATED MASTER CAUTION. WITHIN 5 SECONDS OF MASTER CAUTION BEING EXTINGUISHED BY CREW HYD PRESS LIGHT SELF EXTINGUISHED. CYCLED GEAR SEVERAL TIMES DUPLICATED NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. TROUBLESHOT TO NOSE GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH. REPLACED NOSE GEAR UP LOCK SWITCH IAW MM 32-61-00, 32-30-05 AND 32-01-00. GEAR OPS AND FUNCTIONAL CHECKED GOOD, NO DEFECTS NOTED. GROUND RUN OF ENGINE CYCLED FLAPS AND SPEED BRAKES SEVERAL TIMES NO FAULTS NOTED. FLAPS/HYD PRESSURE LIGHT, OPS CHECKED NORMAL.
AFTER TAKEOFF, MLG HANDLE RAISED. MAINS RETRACTED NORMALLY & RESPECTIVE GREEN LIGHTS OUT. RED UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ON FOR 15 SECONDS NLG HEARD NOT FULLY RETRACTING. AFTER 15 SECONDS, RED UNLOCK LIGHT OUT & MLG DOORS HEARD CLOSING. HYD PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUNINATED DURING 15 SECONDS THAT NLG OUT OF SEQUENCE WITH MAINS. EXTINGUISHED AFTER UNLOCK LIGHT WENT OUT & NLG DOORS HEARD CLOSING. PERFORMED SEVERAL GEAR SWINGS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. FOUND NLG STRUT PRESSURE LOW. SERVICED NLG STRUT IAW MM 12-14-00. FOUND LT MLG UPLOCK SWITCH TO HAVE AN INTERMITENT RESISTANCE WHEN ACTUATED. REMOVED SWITCH & WIRE BUNDLE & REPLACED WITH NEW IAW MM 33-30-05. OPS AND FUNCTION CHECKED GOOD.
GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ON AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. RT DOOR WOULD BND UP WITH LT DOOR. ADJUSTED FWD NOSE GEAR DOOR ROD ENDS AS REQUIRED. (IAW MM 32-20-00) SWUNG GEAR AND PERFORMED SEVERAL CLEARANCE CHECKS ALL CHECKS GOOD.
ON CLIMB OUT THE RED GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT CAME ON. WHEN WE PULLED THE HYD PRESS CB THE NOSE GEAR WENT DOWN AND LOCKED EVEN THOUGH THE HANDLE WAS UP. M2B - R&R NOSE GEAR ACTUATOR WITH NEW HARDWARE. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF LANDING GEAR SYSTEM. SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD. BLED THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND LEAK CHECK THE ACTUATOR CHECKED GOOD. IAW WORK DONE IAW CH 32-30-03 OF THE CITATION 560 XLS MM.
