REMOVED FAILED DEFLATION VALVE AND INSTALLED NEW DEFLATION VALVE REF AMM 52-10-04. PERFORMED OPS CHECK AND LEAK TEST OF DEFLATION VALVE REF AMM 52-10-04 WITH ALL CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME.

COMPLIED WITH THE FOLLOWING OPS CHECKS, PRESSURIZE AIRPLANE WITH APU. OUTFLOW VALVES OPENED AT 9.2. SECONDARY OUTFLOW VALVE STUCK OPEN TWICE, WORKED ONCE FREED. COMPLIED WITH MAX DELTA P CHECK. PRIMARY OPEN AT 9.5, SECONDARY OPEN AT 9.6, OPS CHECK PASS. COMPLIED WITH OUTFLOW VALVE CABIN ALTITUDE LIMITER VALVE FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF SECONDARY OUTFLOW VALVE OPS CHECK GOOD. WHILE HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 06 IN TEB THE ANTI-SKID INOP/LOW BRAKE PRES. CAUTION LIGHT CAME ON, WE ACCOMPLISHED THE QRH CHECKLIST. WE TAXIED BACK TO SIGNATURE SOUTH, DURING THE TAXI LOST ALL MAIN BRAKE CONTROL PRESSURE,I USED THE EMERGENCY BRAKES TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT & HAD SIG-S BRING A TUG TO TAKE US BACK TO THE RAMP SAFELY. THIS IS A REPEAT WRITE UP. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED AND REPLACED HYDRAULIC PUMP MOTOR IAW MM 32-44-20. REMOVED AND REPLACED HYDRAULIC PUMP LOW PRESSURE SWITCH IAW CE560XL AMM 32-44-20 AND WDM 32-40-01. DURING REPLACEMENT OF SWITCH FOUND EXPOSED WIRE STRANDS, REPAIRED PER SPM 20-30-25. OPERATIONAL CHECK AND TAXI CHECK SATISFACTORY PER AMM 32-44-20, 32-44-00 AND WDM 32-40-01.
UNABLE TO CLOSE THE DOOR WITH THE MAIN DOOR HANDLE. THE DOOR HANDLE WAS PREFLIGHTED ON THE GROUND WITH THE DOOR OPEN . THE HANDLE IS STIFF WHEN EXTENDING THE PINS AND RETRACTING THE PINS. WE TRIED TO CLOSE THE DOOR WHILE INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE APU RUNNING. WE WERE UNABLE TO MOVE THE HANDLE OUT OF THE CENTER POSITION TO CLOSE THE DOOR. ARRIVED AT AIRCRAFT. REMOVED OPENED DOOR AND REMOVED STAIRS TO QAIN ACCESS TO DOOR LATCH MECHANISM UNDERNEATH. LUBRICATED ALL MOVING LINKAGES AND MECHANICAL PIVOT POINTS INSIDE DOOR. INSTALLED STAIRS, ADJUSTED PIN SOCKET CONCENTRIC CAMS TO PROVIDE BETTER FITMENT. DOOR WILL LATCH AND UNLATCH WITHOUT NEED FOR EXCESSIVE FORCE. THESE WERE COMPLETED IAW AMM 52-10-00.
MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR HANDLE IS VERY STIFF, IT IS HARD TO LATCH AND UNLATCH. INSPECTED DOOR LATCH MECHANISM AND DOOR PINS. AND FOUND DARK MATERIAL BUILDUP ON THE DOOR PINS AND PIN SOCKETS. CLEANED AND LUBED DOOR PINS AND SOCKETS; THEN ADJUSTED THE SOCKETS, TO ENSURE SMOOTH ACTION ALONG MATING SURFACES · AND PERFORMED SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK ALL LAW SRM·52-10-01
DEPARTING KDAL CLIMBING THROUGH FL190, OBSERVED FUMES IN COCKPIT. ODOR WAS ACRID & INCREASING INTENSITY. DECLARED EMERGENCY & RETURNED TO KDAL. ON LANDING & SHUTDOWN, THERE WAS NO DISCERNABLE ODOR IN CABIN. STILL ODOR IN COCKPIT. FIRE DEPART CHECKED ENTIRE ACFT WITH A TEMP GUN. EVERYTHING IN COCKPIT 90 F EXCEPT MFD IN CENTER. PEAKED AT 130F. REMOVED ENGINE IND LCDS & INSTALLED OVERHAULED LCDS, OP CHECKED GOOD. REMOVED FAULTY MFD & INSTALLED REPAIRED MFD. PERFORMED OPSL CHECK. ALL CHECKED GOOD. NO FAULTS FOUND. EMERG EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH IN THE ARM POSITION, AND THE PASS SAFETY SWITCH OFF ALL THE EMER LIGHTS ARE ILLUMINATED.
WITH THE EMER LIGHT SWITCH IN THE ARMED POSITION (AND THE SEAT BELT SIGN OFF) THE EXIT SIGN OVER THE LAV, SEAT 7, AFT DROP AISLE LIGHTING AND RING WING EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE ALL ON. THE EXIT SIGN OVER THE MAIN CABIN DOOR AND FORWARD DROP AISLE LIGHTS ARE OFF. WHEN THE EMER LIGHTS ARE SELECTED TO THE "ON" POSITION, ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTING ILLUMINATES (SEAT BELT SIGN OFF). MAIN DOOR: THE TENSION ON THE MAIN CABIN DOOR IS TO TIGHT CAUSING THE DOOR TO SLAM SHUT WHEN CLOSING IT . LEFT MLG BRAKE: ON TAXI OUT OF A HIKE OUT TO THE AIRPORT, THE BRAKE SEEM TO BE PARTIALLY ENGAGED. AFTER STOPPING THE AIRCRAFT I ENGAGED IN EMERGENCY BRAKE AND PUSHED IT COMPLETELY BACK IN BUT THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE. WE THEN RETURNED TO THE FBO. AFTER SHUTTING DOWN, I GOT OUT TO INSPECT THE WHEEL BRAKES. I COULD NOT DISCERN IF ONE WHEEL BRAKE WAS HOTTER THAN THE OTHER. //SIGNOFF// CHECKED WHEELS/BEARINGS FOR ROTATIONAL FRICTION AND BRAKES FOR STICKY PUCKS - NO DEFECTS NOTED. COCKPIT ODOR BURNING SMELL - AFTER ROTATION BOTH PILOTS SMELLED A BURNING SMELL THAT APPEARED TO BE ELECTRICAL IN NATURE..SMELL A DISSIPATED AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS ..DECIDED TO MAKE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING AT THE DEPARTURE AIRPORT..WHEN ASKED THE PASSENGERS STATED THAT THEY DIDN'T SMELL ANYTHING IN THE CABIN. THERE WAS NO SMOKE OR ANY OTHER ABNORMAL INDICATIONS OTHER THAN THE ODOR. UPON STARTING THE APU AND BLEED AIR NOTED AN ODOR. RAN BOTH ENGINES SEPARATELY AND STILL NOTED AN ODOR. REMOVED THE OZONE CONVERTERS AND WATER SEPARATOR, CLEANED THEM AND REINSTALLED. PERFORMED LEAK CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS OR ODORS NOTED. AFTER TAXI-OUT, A STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR AND SMOKE WAS OBSERVED BY THE FLIGHT CREW. ELECTRICAL SMELL AND SMOKE APPEARED TO ORIGINATE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE COCKPIT.. FLIGHT CREW IMMEDIATELY SHUTDOWN THE AIRCRAFT ON THE TAXIWAY AND PROCEEDED TO EXIT THE AIRCRAFT. INSPECTED SIDE CONSOLE PANELS, BEHIND LEFT CB PANEL, CENTER PEDESTAL, PCB BOXES, MFD AND PFD'S, NO FAULTS NOTED. POWERED AIRCRAFT AND COMPLETED AVIONICS CHECKS. STARTED APU AND RAN ENGINES, NO SIGNS OF SMOKE OR ODOR. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF AVIONICS COOLING FANS, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION WE FOUND THE AVIONICS SHELF FWD OTBD ATTACH BRACKET, PN 9256023-16, CRACKED ABOUT AN INCH LONG, HALF THE LENGTH OF THE ATTACH BRACKET. REPLACED BRACKET & SENT SUBMITTED SERVICE CONDITION REPORT 750316 TO MFG.
AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN FOLLOWING A SHORT REPOSITION TAXI, THE LT ENGINE HAD THICK WHITE SMOKE BILLOWING FROM THE EXHAUST AREA. SMOKE CONTINUED FOR 10 MINUTES FOLLOWING SHUTDOWN. SMOKE HAD ODOR OF BURNING OIL OR HYD FLUID. A FRESH ACCUMULATION OF LEAKED FLUID IS PRESENT IN THE AFT AREA OF THE COWLING. PERFORMED MULTIPLE ENGINE RUNS WITH NO SMOKE OR LEAKS NOTED. PERFORMED GUI LT ENGINE, NO PRESENCE OF LEAKS OR DEFECTS FOUND AT THIS TIME. PERFORMED ENG POWER CONTROL RIGGING CHECK TO ENSURE PROPER ENG FUEL CUT OFF WITH NO DEFECTS FOUND. ENG SYSTEM OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD AT THIS TIME. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 76-11-00 & 71-00-00.

ON TAXI IN ATTEMPTED MANUAL TRIM & IT WORKED NORMAL. REMOVED LT & RT ELEVATOR TRIM ACTUATORS PN 6660161-20, NSN & PN 6660161-14, NSN & INSTALLED NEW UNITS PN 6660161-20, NSN & PN 6660161-14. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY FT & RIGGING CHECK. OPERATIONS CHECKED NORMAL, ALL WORK DONE IAW CE-560XL MM 27-32-03.
DURING DECENT WE ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURBULENCE & PRECIP. BOTH RED FIRE LIGHT SWITCHES FLICKERED ON IN CONJUNCTION WITH TURBULENT BUMPS AT THE SAME TIME IN SYNC. THEY DID NOT REMAIN ILLUMINATED ONLY A FAINT FLICKER. PERFORMED ROTARY TEST, ENG FIRE LIGHTS CHECKED GOOD. ACCESSED TEST SWITCH RESISTANCE THROUGH SWITCH, CHECKED GOOD. INSPECTED FIRE TRAY LIGHTS, LIGHTS CHECKED GOOD. ACCESSED ADJUSTMENT RESISTORS IN AFT TH J BOX, RZ018 & RZ019 BOTH HAD 100 OHMS. CHECKED GND GT048 TO GND BLOCK XZ004, GND CHECKED GOOD. OPENED ENG COWLS & INSPECTED FIRE DETECT FOUND LOOP, CHAFED ON LT ENG. RT ENG FIRE DETECT LOOP CHECKED GOOD. R & R LT FIRE LOOP IAW CE-560XL MM 26-11-01. OPERATIONS RUN CHECKED GOOD IAW CE-560XL MM 26-11-01.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSP, WE FOUND THE FWD BAGGAGE DOOR HINGE ASSY CRACKED IN SEVERAL PLACES. 2 CRACKS IN SUPPORT CHANNEL 66120720-2 AND ONE CRACK ON CHANNEL 6612069-11. THE CRACKS WERE FOUND BY VISUAL INSP. THIS ACFT HAD SB560XL-52-13 INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. AN SCR HAS BEEN SENT TO UNDER NR 621734.
FLAPS WOULD NOT EXTEND PAST 15 (DEG) ON FINAL APPROACH.
THE LANDING GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT AFTER EXTENDING THE GEAR HANDLE.
FLAPS WOULD NOT EXTEND PAST 15 (DEG) ON FINAL APPROACH. AFTER LANDING THE FLAPS REMAINED AT 15 (DEG) REGARDLESS OF FLAP HANDLE POSITION. AFTER ONE HOUR, RESTARTED BOTH ENGINES AND THE FLAPS OPERATED NORMALLY. UNABLE TO DUPLICATE. BLED AND SERVICED HYD SYS IAW MM CH 12-12-01. FLAP SYSTEM OPS CHECK GOOD IAW MM CH 27-51-00.
THE LANDING GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT AFTER EXTENDING THE GEAR HANDLE. REMOVED AND REPLACE LT MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR IAW MM CH 32-30-04. OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. RESET EMERGENCY GEAR BOTTLE AND SERVICES MM CH 12-13-01.
