AT FL410 AND JUST PULLED THE POWER BACK FROM A CRUISE SETTING. WHEN THE POWER WAS PULLED BACK THE LEFT ENGINE ITT WENT TO TOP OF ITT SCALE & TURNED RED. PULLED POWER BACK TO ABOUT 60 PERCENT N1 AND ITT IMMEDIATELY CAME BACK TO A NORMAL TEMPERATURE. DURING THIS TIME, TEMP IN SUPPLY LINE ON LT ENGINE COCKPIT TEMPERATURE GAUGE WENT TO 218 DEGREES. WENT TO MANUAL MODE TO COOL IT QUICK AS POSSIBLE AND GOT TEMP COOLED DOWN.COULD FEEL A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT HEAT IMMEDIATELY IN COCKPIT DURING EVENT. COULD SMELL A BURNING TYPE OF SMELL, PILOT COULD NOT SMELL IT. PUSHED ENGINE DATA SCAN BUTTON A FEW MINS AFTER EVENT HAPPENED. THIS IS A REPEAT WRITE UP. REPLACED WIRE HARNESS. OPS CHECK GOOD. MAIN DOOR PRECATCH: MAIN DOOR PRECATCH HOLDS THE DOOR CLOSED BUT FAILS TO OPEN WHEN PUSHED. THIS HAS BEEN WRITTEN UP TWICE BEFORE. ACCESSED THE PRECATCH RELEASE MECHANISM BY MOVING THE DOOR TRIM FROM THE FOWARD DOOR FRAME, ADJUSTED THE PRECATCH CABLE TO BE ABLE TO RETRACT FLUSH WITH DOOR FRAME ALLOWING THE DOOR TO RELEASE AND TO HOLD THE DOOR WITH THE PRECATCH ENGAGED, RTURNED TE DOOR TRIM TO ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION. BLED LEFT BRAKE SYSTEM AS PER MCC. FILLED BRAKE RESERVOIR TO FULL WITH 1/2 PINT OF SKYDROL. NOSE GEAR DID NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKE OFF. HAD ASSOCIATED STAB MISCOMPARE AND HYD PRESS ILLUMINATE. RAN THE K3 CHECKLIST, GOT 3 GREEN AND RETURNED BACK FOR LANDING. DID NOT HAVE TO BLOW THE GEAR DOWN AND DID NOT LAND OVERWEIGHT. STEP 1 JACKED AIRCRAFT AND INSPECTED NOSE LANDING GEAR FOR ANY HYDRAULIC LEAKS. NO LEAKS NOTED. ACCOMPLISHED NOSE GEAR SHOCK STRUT (PISTON) EXTENSION CHECK IAW CE-560XL5 MM 32-20-00. CHECK WAS GOOD. SWUNG GEARS AND DUPLICATED DISCREPANCY. PUSHED ON ALL GEARS AND FOUND THAT THE LH GEAR IS NOT MAKING THE LH UP-LOCK HOOK. FOUND THE JAM NUT ON THE LH GEAR ACTUATOR LOOSE AND LH ROD END SHOWING MORE THREAD THAN THE RH, AS A COMPARISON THE RH IS SHOWING ABOUT 3 THREADS AND THE LH SHOWING 6. LOOKS LIKE THE LH GEAR IS NOT MAKING FULL UP TRAVEL TO DROP IN THE UPLOCK HOOK. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND THE LOCK TAB THAT GOES INSIDE THE ACTUATOR KEY GROOVE BROKEN. THIS CAUSED THE ACTUATOR TO TURN CAUSING THE GEAR TO EXTEND FURTHER. REMOVED SEALANT FROM ROD END NUTS AND BOLTS. WILL HAVE TO REMOVED ROD END TO RETRIVE BROKEN LOCK TAB IN ACTUATOR GROOVE. ALL PITOT AND FLIGHT HOUR METER BREAKERS ARE PULLED. STEP 2 NEED TO REMOVED ROD END TO RETRIVE BROKEN LOCK TAB IN ACTUATOR GROOVE. ALL PITOT AND FLIGHT HOUR METER BREAKERS ARE PULLED STEP 3 CONTINUED BY REMOVING ROD END FROM LH ACTUATOR PISTON. REMOVED JAM NUT AND KEY FROM ROD END. NOSE GEAR WILL NOT RETRACT. AFTER TAKEOFF, WHEN THE GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED TO THE UP POSITION, THE MAIN GEAR LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED, BUT THE NOSE GEAR LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE SOUND INDICATIONS WERE ALSO THAT THE NOSE GEAR REMAINED DOWN. THE GEAR HANDLE WAS PLACED BACK IN THE DOWN POSITION AND THERE WAS NORMAL GEAR DOWN INDICATIONS FOR ALL GEAR. A BELOW MAX WEIGHT NORMAL LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED. R & R FAULTY NOSE GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH IAW MM 32-30-05. OPS CHECKS GOOD.
AFTER FLIGHT AND ENGINE SHUTDOWN, WHITE SMOKE BEGAN EMANATING FROM THE RT ENGINE NACELLE. TROUBLESHOT RT ENGINE SMOKING AFTER SHUTDOWN INSPECTED EXTERIOR OF ENGINE. INSPECTED THROTTLE RIGGING. REMOVED SPINNER, FOUND OIL UNDER SPINNER. R & R NR 2 ENGINE IAW MM 71-00-03, 71-00-02.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, TECH NOTICED 2 RIVETS MISSING FROM THE LT DORSAL SKIN AFT OF THE NACA SCOOP. THE LOWER FASTENER HOLE ALSO APPEARED TO HAVE A CRACK ABOUT AN INCH LONG AND MOVING TOWARDS THE SECOND FASTNER HOLE. UPON DISASSEMBLE WE ALSO FOUND CRACKS IN THE CORNERS OF BRACKET, PN 6512072-17 ON BOTH LT AND RT SIDES. WE ALSO FOUND THE DORSAL FRESH AIR DUCT HAD PULLED AWAY FROM THE DORSAL FIN AND HAD ALLOWED AIR PRESSURE TO EXPAND THE DORSAL AND CAUSED THIS DAMAGE. AN SCR HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO MFG UNDER SCR 590694.
AFTER TAKEOFF, STAB MISS COMPARE LIGHT STAYED ON ALONG. WITH THE HYD PRESSURE LIGHT AND THE NOSE GEAR UNLOCK RED LIGHT STAYED ON AS WELL. FOUND LT MAIN GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH NOT BEING MADE WITH GEAR UP DUE TO LT MAIN LAND GEAR ACTIVATOR ROD END LOCK CLIP BROKEN. REPLACED LOCK CLIP IAW AMM 32-30-04 AND CHECKED IAW 32-10-00. OPS GOOD. ALSO PERFORMED HORIZONTAL STABILIZER CHECK IAW 27-90-40. OPS CKS GOOD.
BIRDSTRIKE JUST BELOW THE COPILOTS WINDOW. BIRD WAS REDIRECTED INTO THE RIGHT ENGINE. BIRD GUTS AROUND THE NACELLE TIP AND AROUND THE INTAKE.
DURING FATS NOTICED TRIM FWD OF T/O & NO TAKEOFF LIGHT. TRIMMED ACFT TO TAKEOFF POSITION, LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. RAN FULL PREFLT EARLIER & NO BINDING & FULL RANGE. AT 80 KIAS ON TAKEOFF ROLL ACFT NEEDED FORWARD PRESSURE TO KEEP NOSE ON GROUND. ONCE AIRBORNE WITH FULL FORWARD TRIM, ACFT FLEW NORMALLY. WHEN CONFIGURED AT FLAPS 15 (DEG) & 150 KIAS HAD BACK PRESSURE ON STICK WITH FULL FORWARD TRIM. ON GROUND TRIM WOULD ONLY GO AFT TO MID POINT OF TAKEOFF BAND & FULL FWD TO STOPS. FOUND ELEV TRIM IND JUMPED TRACK INSIDE TRIM WHEEL. REMOVED WHEEL & RIGGED TRIM INDICATOR & WHEEL. VERIFIED ELECTRIC ELEV TRIM OPS FULL UP & DOWN. WHILE MOVING TRIM WHEEL BY HAND, TRIM IND JUMPED TRACK. EXAMINATION SHOWS TRIM WHEEL TO BE KNICKED ON INSIDE TRACK & FOUND BOLT HOLDING TRIP ASSY TOGETHER TO HAVE A GAP UNDER HEAD, CAUSING DROP IN WHEEL ASSY. PERFORMED IAW MM 27-32-08. INSTALLED WASHER UNDER NUT TO BOLT ON TRIM ASSY & UNDER HEAD OF BOLT & SLOP REMOVED. R & R TRIM WHEEL WITH NEW. RIGGED WHEEL POINTER. TRIM TRAVEL CHKS, & OPS CHKS SAT. ACCOMPLISHED IAW MM 27-32-01.
ON THE TAKEOFF ROLL AT 70 KTS WE GOT A "NO TAKEOFF" ANNUNCIATOR WITH A MASTER CAUTION AND AURAL WARNING. FLAPS WERE AT TAKEOFF SETTING, AND THE TRIM WAS NEXT TO THE TEE. REPLACED TRIM WHEEL AND SHIMS INSTALLED ON WHEEL SPACER. SYS CK GOOD IAW MM 27-31-00.
GEAR "UNLOCK" LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. PERFORMED INSPECTION OF GEAR. REMOVED ALL THREE NOSE GEAR DOORS. RESERVICED NOSE GEAR STRUT, AND RESAFTIED OIL FILL PLUG. LUBED UPLOCK ROLLERS. RECONNECTED NOSE GEAR DOORS. PERFORMED GEAR HYD SYS ADJUSTMENT/TEST. LANDING GEAR OP CHECK NORMAL, GEAR INDICATION CHECKS NORMAL. MM 32-10-00, 32-20-00, 12-21-02, 32-01-00, 12-14-00.
AFTER SELECTING GEAR DOWN, THE LT MAIN GREEN GEAR LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE AND THE RED GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. T/S TO BAD LT MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR DOWN LOCK SWITCH. REPLACED ACTUATOR WITH INSPECTED RENTAL UNIT. OPS, LEAK AND AMBER CHECKS. SERVICED BLOW DOWN BRIDLE AND BLED HYD SYS IAW MM 32-30-04.

A LARGE AMOUNT OF FORWARD ELEVATOR TRIM WAS REQUIRED AFTER TAKEOFF. ALSO DURING DESCENT THE TRIM WAS ALL THE WAY FORWARD AGAINST THE STOP. INSPECTED SYSTEM. FOUND HARDWARE FOR ELEV TRIM CONTROL WHEEL BACKED 3/4 OF THE WAY OUT, ALLOWING ELEV TRIM INDICATOR DRIVE TO JUMP OF OUT GROOVE IN CONTROL WHEEL. PROPERLY INSTALLED TRIM IND DRIVE AND CONTROL WHEEL ASSY AS REQUIRED. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW MM 27-32-01.
