BLENDED AREA WAS BEYOND ALLOWABLE LIMITS AND WAS SUBMITTED TO AQRD. COMPLIED WITH NETJETS ERO-988946 REV.IR DATED APR. 22, 2026. N592QS VERTICAL STABILIZER AFT SPAR CAP CORROSION. THIS IS A MAJOR PRIMARY REPAIR.
WHEN OPENING OR CLOSING THE MAIN CABIN DOOR YOU CAN HEAR AND PHYSICALLY FEEL THAT SOMETHING IS BINDING. IT HAPPENS WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR IS ABOUT 3/4 OPEN AS WELL AS ALMOST CLOSED VERIFIED PROPER TENSIONS OF PAX DOOR COUNTERBALANCE FWD AND AFT CABLES PER MM 52-10-03. REPOSITIONED AFT DOOR DUST COVER TO PREVENT RUBBING ON AFT DOOR CABLE AT REEL ASSY IAW MM 52-10-03. LUBRICATED PAX DOOR LOWER SPADE DOOR AFT CONTROL ROD PER MM 52-10-05. OPS CHECK OF PAX DOOR OPEN AND CLOSING GOOD.
DOOR PRECATCH DOES NOT RELEASE THE DOOR WHEN PULLED TO RELEASE, THE PRECATCH HOLDS THE DOOR WHEN PRECATCH HANDLE IS NORMAL BUT DOES NOT RELEASE IT WHEN PULLED TO RELEASE. COMPLETED MULTIPLE OPS CHECKS OF MED PRE-CATCH RELEASE FROM INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR, NO DEFECT NOTED AT THIS TIME. IAW AMM 52-10-01.
THE MAIN CABIN DOOR PRE-CATCH WILL NOT RELEASE THE DOOR. PERFORMED LUBRICATION OF LH & RH TR GUIDE RODS AND PIVOT POINTS USING D5100NS LUBRICANT. NO DEFECTS NOTED. IAW NJA CE560XLS AAIP
ON DESCENT THROUGH 17000FT AT 295 KIAS, WE ENCOUNTERED SEVERE TURBULENCE FOR APPROXIMATELY 10SECONDS. WE HAD THE FLAPS AND GEAR UP, CLEAN CONFIGURATION, BUT THE AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED TO 310KIAS FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT. CORRECTIVE ACTION; ACCOMPLISHED 560XL MM CH 5-50-00 UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE CHECKS 4. OVERSPEED CHECK (ABOVE 8000 FT) AND 8. SEVERE TURBULENCE AND/OR MANEUVER CHECKS. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
WHILE FLYING AS THE SUN SET, WE HAD THE PASSENGER SAFETY SWITCH IN THE OFF POSITION, AS WELL AS SEAT BELT ON POSITION, AND NOTICED THE FRONT CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THIS INCLUDES THE EMERGENCY SIGNS, TWO OVERHEAD LIGHTS AND FRONT LEFT AISLE LIGHTS. WHEN WE GOT ON THE GROUND, WE TURNED EVERYTHING OFF AND CHECKED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WITH THE SAME RESULTS. COMPLIED WITH TC-5XL-33-200102 EMER-LIGHTING BATTERY PACK TOP CHARGING, AND FUNCTIONAL CHECKS REF: MM 33-50-01. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
DURING 24-MONTH LOWER AFT CABIN INTERNAL (BELOW EXTERNALLY SERVICED TOILET) STRUCTURAL AND CORROSION SPECIAL DETAILED INSPECTION PANEL 262HR WAS FOUND CRACKED AND CORRODED. MEASURED, MAPPED, AND SUBMITTED TOILET FLOORBOARD 262HR TO ENGINEERING FOR REPAIR DISPOSITION. RECEIVED RFTS-112918 REV.0 DATED 10FEB25. PERFORM REPAIR TO CABIN FLOORBOARD CRACK LOCATION. PER: RFTS-112918. INSTALLED 1 EACH REPAIR DOUBLER ON CABIN FLOORBOARD 262HR AT LOWER SURFACE OF FLOORBOARD. ALL WORK PERFORMED AND COMPLETED. PER: NETJETS RFTS-112918 N592QS (560-5706) CABIN FLOORBOARD CRACK REV.0 DATED 10FEB25. THIS IS A MINOR REPAIR.
DURING MAINTENANCE, THE LH TR WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT STRUCK THE FLOOR CORRECTIVE ACTION: INSTALLED SEAL FLANGE REPAIR DOUBLER. IAW SRM 51-40-03
MAIN CABIN DOOR IS DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND CLOSE. THE FORWARD TELESCOPING ROD IS BINDING AT ABOUT MID TRAVEL. GVI OF MAIN CABIN DOOR FOUND THE LOWER HARDWARE ON BOTH FORWARD AND AFT TELESCOPING RODS LOOSE AND BACKING OUT. ADJUSTED LOWER TELESCOPING ROD LOLLIPOP AND SECURED HARDWARE. OPS CHECK GOOD. PERFORMED WORK IAW MM 52-10-01
AT 40000 FT, DETECTED AN OIL ODOR IN THE COCKPIT AND CABIN. RAN THE CHECKLIST FOR ODOR. INSPECTED APU INLET DUCT FOR PRESENCE OF OIL. NONE FOUND. REMOVED AND INSPECTED THE CONDENSOR BAG IAW MM 21-51-00, LEAK CHECKED GOOD. PERFORMED A GROUND RUN ON APU AND BOTH ENGINES WITH NO OIL ODOR PRESENT.
ELEVATOR TRIM WHEEL IS LOOSE, ELEVATOR TRIM IS JAMMED & WILL NOT MOVE AFT OF MID TAKEOFF RANGE ELECTRICALLY OR MANUALLY. INSPECTED ELEVATOR TRIM AFT CABLE RUN, NO DEFECTS NOTED IAW AMM 27-32-02. INSPECTED TRIM HAND WHEEL & FOUND THE TRIM POINTER OUT OF ADJUSTMENT & NOT ALLOWING THE HAND WHEEL TO HAVE FULL RANGE OF TRAVEL. ADJUSTED HAND WHEEL & POINTER, ALSO ADJUSTED THE TRIM CABLE UP STOP BLOCK. RIGGING & OPERATIONAL CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 27-31-00.
AFTER RETRACTING THE GEAR AFTER TAKEOFF THERE WAS A RED GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT ON. LG EXTENDED NORMALLY. AFTER LANDING WITH THE NOSE WHEEL STRAIGHT THE RUDDER PEDALS ARE OFFSET TO THE LT & THE RUDDER IS DEFLECTED TO THE LT. FOUND NOSE GEAR STEERING MISALIGNED. ALIGNED NOSE WHEEL STEERING IAW CE-560XL MM 32-50-00. CLEARANCE AND TAXI CHECKS GOOD.
DURING PREFLIGHT WITH THE APU BLEED IN NORMAL, ACM FAN MADE A LOUD NOISE, NOTICED A BURNING ODOR IN CABIN, CABIN SUPPLY TEMP STARTED IN 130'S AND CLIMBED TO 180'S BEFORE BLEED TURNED OFF. IN MAX MODE, FAN NOISE NOT AS BAD BUT STILL HIGH SUPPLY TEMP AND ODOR. WITH APU BLEED OFF AND NR 2 ENGINE ON, NO LOUD FAN NOISE BUT HIGH SUPPLY TEMP AND ODOR WITH LITTLE TO NO FLOW OF AIR. REMOVED ACM. INSTALLED OVERHAULED ACM, ALL WORK PERTORMED IAW MM 21-51-00. INSTALLED ACM TO WATER SEPARATOR DUCT AND OPS CHECKED IAW MM 21-51-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND THE RT ELEVATOR OTBD HINDGE BRACKET CRACKED. PERFORMED AN EDDY CURRENT CHECK AND VERIFIED THE HINGE WAS CRACKED ON THE UPPER BRACKET EAR RADIUS. HINGE BRACKET REPLACED, CRACKED BRACKET SENT FOR EVALUATION.
BRAKES WON'T KEEP THE ACFT STOPPED WITH POWER SET TO TAKEOFF SETTING. INSPECTED BRAKE ASSEMBLIES, FOUND NO DEFECTS. ALL CHECKED GOOD AT THIS TIME IAW MM 30-44-20.
RIGHT WINDSHIELD FAULT LIGHT ILLUMINATED. NO OVERHEAT LIGHT. SHORTLY AFTER RT WINDSHIELD SHATTERED. WINDSHIELD SEAL LOOKS BUCKLED ON TOP CENTER PORTION. MELTED, STREAKING UP FROM BOTTOM OF WINDSHIELD. LT WINDSHIELD FAULT LIGHT ILLUMINATED. NO OVERHEAT LIGHT ASSOCIATED WITH IT. R & R RT WINDSHIELD WITH A NEW WINDSHIELD, WORK DONE IAW MM 56-11-00, 30-40-00, 30-41-00.
IN FLT, GEAR UP, & FLAPS RETRACTED, A PRONOUNCED GRINDING/BINDING OF ELEVATOR WHEN YOKE IS MOVED FORE & AFT. NOTICABLE WHEN HAND FLYING BETWEEN 160KIAS & 220 KIAS. THERE IS SOUND ASSOCIATED WITH THE GRINDING AS WELL AS BEING ABLE TO FEEL IT IN THE FLOORBOARDS (COCKPIT), AND IN YOKE. ONLY IN FLIGHT. REMOVED FOUR PULLEYS FROM ELEVATOR CABLE SNUBBER DUE TO FLAT SPOTTED. INSTALLED NEW PULLEYS & ADJUSTED SNUBBER. BREAK OUT FRICTION IAW MM 27-31-03. OPS CHECKED GOOD. ELEVATORS HAVE SMOOTH OPERATION.
ON THE GROUND WITH THE APU RUNNING FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, SECONDS AFTER SWITCHING BLEED AIR ON, SMOKE STARTED COMING INTO THE CABIN FROM ALL WEMACS VENTS. REPLACED APU IAW 560XL MM CH 49-10-00 SERVICED OIL RAN LK AND OPS CK GOOD. OLD APU SERIAL P-638 TSN HOURS 615.2 AND CSN 1125, NEW APU SERIAL P-324 TSN HOURS 3044.9 CSN 4801. UNIT REPAIRED IAW 560XL MM 49-10-00. APU WITH 2380 ENGINE OIL
WHILE ON GROUND WITH APU RUNNING AND BLEED AIR ON HAD BURNING ODOR COMING THRU COCKPIT DUCTS. REMOVED & REPLACED DEFECTIVE TEMP CONTROLLER OPERATIONAL CHECK OF ECS SYSTEM NORMAL. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 21-61-00 & 21-51-00.
