IT SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN PROGRESSIVELY LOUDER WITH THE LAST FEW FLIGHTS. CORRECTIVE ACTION: ACCESSED AIRCRAFT AND REMOVED AND REPLACED DOOR SEAL. A WOW TEST KIT WILL BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM A LEAK CHECK OF THE SEAL. PLACED TOOLING ON ORDER VIA WEST STAR LOGISTICS AND WILL ADVISE MCC ON TRACKING. SM 4/13 REMOVED AND REPLACED MED SCAL REFERENCING AMM 52-10-35. LEAK CHECK GOOD.

BOTH LIGHTS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE NUMBER TWO BATTERY PACK. C/W EMERGENCY LIGHTING POWER SUPPLY BATTERY EXERCISE PROCEDURE IAW TC NO TC-FLT-33-1001 REV2/20OCT2022. T/S LED TO A FAILED #2 EMERGENCY LIGHTING BATTERY. REMOVED ASSOCIATED PANELS AND #3 PASS SEAT TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE #2 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY. R&R #2 EMERGENCY LIGHTING BATTERY IAW CE 680A AMM 33-50-06.WITH ALL CONNECTORS IN PLACE, POWERED ON THE A/C WITH GPU AND CHARGED THE BATTERIES FOR AN HOUR. C/W WITH THE OPS. OPS CHECK GOOD WITH THE EMERGENCY TOE KICK LIGHT UNDER SEAT 3,AND EMERGENCY READING LIGHT ABOVE SEAT 3 WORKING AS REQ. REINSTALLED THE #3 PASS. SEAT IAW CE·680A IMM 25-20-21, OPS CHECK OF THE SEAT GOOD. ALLOWED ANOTHER HOUR FOR THE BATTERY TO FULLY RECHARGE BACK UP, POWERED OFF THE A/C AND RESET THE A/C BACK TO ORIGINAL CONFIG,

MANIPULTED WIRING HARNESS & COULDN`T DUPLICATE SQUAWK. OPS CHKD GOOD, NO DEFECTS. REINSTALLED UPPER STEP & WATER BARRIER. RETURNED ACFT TO NORMAL CONFIG IAW AMM 52-10-00

ON TAXI OUT RECEIVED DC GEN OFF L AMBER CAS MESSAGE. RAN QRH, AND MESSAGE CLEARED. APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES LATER, STILL TAXING, THE MESSAGE RETURNED. RAN THE QRH ONE MORE TIME WITH THE MESSAGE CLEARING AND NORMAL INDICATIONS. AFTER TAKE OFF, AT APPROXIMATELY 1500 FEET THE MESSAGE RETURNED FOR A THIRD TIME WITH A GROWLING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THIS AIRCRAFT ALSO HAD THE APU MEL'D. STARTED LEFT ENGINE AND GENERATOR KICKED OFF AND YOU CAN FEEL THE GENERATOR VIBRATING. ORDERED NEW STARTER GENERATOR. 1-29-24 DG JH REMOVED AND REPLACED LEFT ENGINE STARTER GENERATOR WITH A OVERHAULED UNIT AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD IAW MM 80-10-20.

CABIN DOOR OPEN AMBER CAS: DURING INITIAL CLIMB OUT, CHECK DOORS CAS AND CABIN DOOR OPEN CAS ILLUMINATED SIMULTANEOUSLY. THE LIGHTS REMAINED ON, AND AFTER SHUTDOWN, THE MAIN CABIN DOOR WAS VISUALLY CONFIRMED LOCKED. THE DOOR WAS THEN OPENED, AND RESECURED, YET THE TWO DOOR CAS MEASAGES REMAINED ILLUMINATED. ACTUATED BOTH DOOR AND LOCKED BOTH CAS MSG WERE STILL PRESENT WHEN DOOR WAS FULLY LOCKED. PERFORMED AREA DOWNLOAD WITH REF TO CE680A MM 31-33-00. PERFORMED MAIN DOOR ENTRY DOOR RESET WITH REF TO CE680A PILOTS PROCEDURE HANDBOOK ONCE RESET WAS ACCOMPLISHED CYCLED DOOR. IN LOCK POSITION NO CAS MEG WERE PRESENT. DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING NORMALLY. A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARD REPEATLY FROM DOOR MOTOR DURING OPENING CYCLE OF DOOR. FURTHER TS SINCE THIS IS A REPEAT WRITEUP TEAM 680 RESPONDED THEY FOUND SOLENOID PAWL SWITCH S6 WAS SEEN TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BOTH CAS MESSAGES CABIN DOOR OPEN AND CHECK DOOR REQUESTED MCC TO ORDER SWITCH. AS FAR AS NOISE COMING FROM DOOR WHILE OPENING, DISENGAGED CLUTCH TO DOOR TO ELININATE MOTOR EQUATION. WITH MOTOR DISENGAGED NOISE WAS NOT HEARD DURING OPENING CYCLE INFORMED MCC AND SUGGESTED ORDERING A MOTOR SINCE INTERNAL BRAKES SEEMED TO BE RUBBING MOTOR ON ORDER REMOVED MED INNER SKIN WITH REF TO CE680A MM 52-10-14 GAIN ACCESS TO VENT DOOR PROXY SWITCH. CHECKED MEASUREMENT BETWEEN SWITCH AND TARGET. FOUND DISTANCE TO BE EXCESSIVE REAAJUSTED WITH REF TO AMM 52-70-10. SWITCH IS NOW AT PROPER DISTANCE BEGAN RINGING OUT WIRING STARTED AT VENT DOOR SWITCH TO CABIN DOOR CONFIRMED PIN 1 4 AND 3 WERE GOOD DURING WIRE CHECKS BETWEEN PC048 AND 0C028 FOUND WIRES H & K TO BE READING ERRONEOUSLY WHILE MOVING THE HARNESS CONTACTED MCC AND INFORMED THEM OF FINDINGS SUGGESTED ORDING WIRING HARNESS FOR CABIN DOOR THRESHOLD REMOVED AND REPLACED CABIN THRESHHOLD HARNESS ASSY. PERFORMED SEVEREAL OPERATIONAL CHECK OF DOOR AND OPS CHECK WAS GOOD WITH NEED A FINAL OPS CHECK AFTER ALL CLOSEUP IS DONE WORK PERFORMED IAW IMM 25-20-09, 52-10-50 AND WIRING MANUAL, FINAL INSPECTIONED INSTALLATION OF HARNESS NO DEFECTS NOTED. REINSTALLED INNER SKIN WITH REF TO AMM 52-10-00 NO FAULTS NOTED. NOISE IS NO LONGER PRESENT RESTORED AIRCRAFT TO ORIGINAL CONFIG REMOVED MED INNER SKIN WITH REF TO CE680 MM 52-10-14. REMOVED LIFT ARM WITH REF AMM 52-15-10 REMOVED MED INNER SKIN WITH REF TO CE680A MM 52-10-14 REMOVED LIFT ARM WITH REF AMM 52-15-10 REMOVED DOOR LIFT LINK AND CABINET PANEL AND ACCESSORIES PERFORMED ELECTRICAL BONDING TEST . REMOVED AND REPLACED MOTOR WITH REF TO AMM 52-15-05 OPS CHECK GOOD. ORIGINAL SUBMISSION DATE: 7/11/2023.

TECH LOOKED INTO THE CDMS AND FOUND THAT THE SECURING PAWL DOOR SWITCH (SC007) WAS INDICATING THAT THE HANDLE WAS NOT SECURED AND THE REST OF THE PROXIMITY SWITCHES WERE INDICATING DOSED. TECH REMOVED THE STAIRS AND INTERNAL DOSE OUT PANEL. TECH PERFORMED THE CABIN DOOR RESET PROCEDURE AND IT CLEARED THE CABIN DOOR OPEN FAULT WHILE OPERATING. TECH OPERATED THE DOOR ABOUT 15 TIMES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. TECH VERIFIED THE RIGGING OF THE SC007 SWITCH WAS 0,11" WITH THE LIMITS BEING 0.10" +/- 0.01". MCC ELECTS TO SIGN THIS ITEM OFF DUE TO NO PRIOR HISTORY. TECH RESTORED ACCESS TO THE CABIN DOOR STAIRS. OPS TEST OF THE CABIN DOOR WARNING SYSTEM SATISFACTORY. REFERENCE: 680A AMM 52-70-10, 52-10-50 AND 680A MAIN ENTRY CABIN DOOR MAY FAIL TO CLOSE USING NORMAL CLOSING PROCEDURES DATED 10-01-2019 FROM SUPPORT.CESSNA.C:OM.
