MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT MOVE TO LOCK POSITION TO LOCK PINS IN PLACE. RAN N1 CHECK LIST. REMOVED MAIN DOOR STEPS AND PANEL'S TO INSPECT DOOR. NO DAMAGE OR FOD FOUND. THE UPPER AFT DOOR PIN IS RETRACKING AND CAMING OVER CENTER. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT MOVE TO CLOSES TIIE CABIN DOOR. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR LATCHING/LOCKING ADJUSTMENT/TEST, PER THE AMM 52-10-40 STEP 4 A.1 TIIRU 4. A.15. DECREASED THE UPPER AFT PUSH ROD LENGHT ONE FULL TURN. FLAG NOW COVERS CORRECTLY IN THE WINDOW. PIN WILL NO LONGER CAM OVER. INSTALLED PAN LES AND THE CABIN DOOR STEPS. ALL OPS CHEKS GOOD. C/W MAIN CABIN DOOR HEALTH CHECK DATA COLLECTION CHECK LIST, WORK DONE JAW AMM 52-10·04.

MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR LATCH HANDLE APPEARS TO BE PHYSICALLY JAMMED. IT IS IN THE OPEN POSITION. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MOVE TO THE CLOSED PISITION IT TRAVELS ABOUT AN INCH THEN HITS RESISTANCE AND WILL MOVE NO FURTHER. AS IT TRAVELS THAT INCH PRIOR TO THE BIND POINT, 5 OF THE 6 DOOR PINS BEGIN TO MOVE NORMALLY. THE LOWER AFT PIN ( THE ONE WITH THE CONICAL TIP) DOES NOT MOVE. IN FACT THAT PIN SEEMS TO BE RECESSED INTO ITS PORTAL SIGNIFICANTLY MORE THAN THE OTHERS. WE RAN THE POWER ON ANOMALY QRH PROCEDURE AND THE CABIN DOOR FAILS TO LIFT QRH PROCEDURE WITH NO EFFECT ON THE ISSUE. INSPECTED DOOR, FOUND THE AFT LOWER LOCK PIN STUCK IN THE DOOR, REMOVED SIDE PANELS AND STEPS FROM CABIN DOOR FOR ACCESS, INSPECTED PINS AND NOTICED CABIN DOOR INTERIOR HANDLE TRAVLES TOO FAR THUS CAUSING THE AFT FWD PIN TO GET STUCK, ADJUSTED THE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE STOP AS REQUIRED, PERFORMED MULTIPLE OPS CHECKS, DOOR HANDLE AND PINS WORK CORRECTLY, REINSTALLED DOOR STEPS AND SIDE PANELS, WORK COMPLEATED IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00

WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS SWITCH IN THE ARM OR OFF POSITION THE EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN/LIGHT ABOVE THE MAIN CABIN DOOR REMAINS ILLUMINATED. THE TWO RED EXIT LIGHTS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE MAIN CABIN DOOR, AS WELL AS, THE TOE KICK FLOOR LIGHT ALSO REMAIN ILLUMINATED. THE REMAINING LIGHTS ON THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM FUNCTION NORMALLY. VERIFIED PROBLEM GAINED ACCESS TO FORWARD BATTERY G-SWITCH. RESET AND LIGHTS WENT OUT. CHARGED BATTERIES FOR 1 HOUR, PER MANUAL AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD, IAW CE-680A MM 33-50-10.
