THE ENCODER WAS GIVING A FALSE ALTITUDE INDICATION. UNIT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY SO UNIT WAS REMOVED AND SENT TO SCHWEIZER HELICOPTER FOR NEW REPLACEMENT ENCODER. NEW UNIT WAS INSTALLED AND OPERATIONALLY CHECKED OK.
