AILERON CNTRL FAULT AMBER CAS: AILERON CNTRL FAULT AMBER CAS DISPLAYED IN FLIGHT AFTER DEPARTURE. REPLACED AILERON RATIO CHANGER ACTUATOR IAW CE-680A AMM 27-17-00, 27-17-20. OPS CHECK SATISFACTORY. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
SEAT 3 EMERGENCY LIGHT OVERHEAD AND FLOOR AISLE, TOE KICK LIGHT, ARE INOPERATIVE ON THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING BATTERY. THE EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY RECHARGE PROCEDURE WAS COMPLETED AND SEAT 3 EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE STILL INOPERATIVE. ARRIVED AT AC AND TURNED ON EMER LIGHTS, WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE FAULT. SEAT #3 READING LIGHT AND PATH LIGHT DO NOT TURN ON. ALL OTHER EMER LIGHTS WORKED AS THEY SHOULD, AFTER CHARGING THE EMER BATTERY AND PERFORMING OPS CHECKS OF THE READING LIGHT AND PATHWAY FIGHT, T/S AND FOUND THAT THE #2 EMER LIGHT BATT IS DEFECTIVE, GAINED ACCESS BY REMOVING #3 CABIN SEAT. REMOVED DEFECTIVE #2 EMER BATT P/N: CBS28-1 S/N: 006982 AND INSTALLED REPAIRED BATTERY P/N: CBS28-1 S/N: 4521M IN REF TO CE-680A MM 33-50-06. EMERGENCY LIGHTS OP'S CHECKED GOOD. CLOSED ALL OPENED ACCESS, REINSTALLED SEAT AND RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO INITIAL CONFIGURATION.
MAIN CABIN DOOR DOES NOT CLOSE NORMALLY USING THE LIFT BUTTON. CHECK DOORS AND CABIN DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGES REMAIN ON. ALSO, YELLOW LIGHT ON DOOR HANDLE DOES NOT EXTINGUISH. RAN RESET PROCEDURE TWICE FOLLOWING MX GUIDANCE WITH SAME RESULTS. ACCOMPLISHED MAIN ENTRY DOOR INSPECTION CHKS. RECONNECTED MAIN BATTERIES OPENED & POWERED ACFT, INSPECTED VOLTAGE OF ACFT POWER SUPPLY 25 VOLTS SHOWING CHARGED. CLOSED MAIN ENTRY DOOR WITH BATTERY ONLY, COULD NOT DUPLICATED DISCREPANCY. STARTED APU, SYSTEM CLOSED & OPENED MULTIPLE TIMES MAIN ENTRY DOOR, COULD NOT DUPLICATED DISCREPANCY ALL DOOR OPERATION & CAS MESSAGE EXTINGUISHED AFTER CLOSING MAIN ENTRY DOOR. & OPENING MAIN ENTRY DOOR AMBER CAUTION SHOWING WHEN DOOR IS OPENED. CREW ON SITE REVIEWED MAIN ENTRY DOOR OPERATION AND SATISFIED. CONTACTED MCC AND ELECT TO RELEASE THE AIRCRAFT TO NORMAL OPERATION. WORK DONE IAW MM 52-10-00
CRACKS FOUND AT L/H CENTER FAIRING SUPPORT SPLICE STRAP AT F.S 354.41, 375.65, 403.75, 440.81 & 453.61. CRACKS FOUND AT R/H CENTER FAIRING SUPPORT SPLICE STRAP AT F.S 375.65, F.S 403.75, F.S 440.81, F.S 453.61.

MAIN DOOR: WHEN OPENING, MAIN CABIN DOOR ACCELERATES AS IT OPENS AND BANGS AND BOUNCES AT THE BOTTOM SHAKING THE ENTIRE AIRFRAME. REPEAT WRITE-UP//CORRECTIVE ACTION//INSTALLED NEW HANDRAIL BELLCRANCK WELDMENT IAW CE-680A MM 52-10-40. OPS CHECKS GOOD.
CABIN SMOKE: A MINUTE OR SO AFTER LANDING THE CABIN FILLED UP WITH SMOKE. SMELLED LIKE BURNED OIL. PERFORMED A GVI OF THE BLEED DUCTING FROM THE APU AND ENGINES AND FOUND OIL LEAKAGE COMING FROM THE APU BLEED SOV OND EVIDENCE THAT IT'S DRIPPED. FOLLOWED BLEED DUCT TO THE WIGGINS COUPLER AT THE 90 RIGHT BEFORE THE APU AND FOUND OIL ON THE SEALS. REMOVED 90 BLEED DUCT AND SNAKED BORE SCOPE WHERE IT FIT NND DID NOT SEE ANY EVIDENCE OF LEAKAGE ON SCREEN. IT MAY BE A POSSIBILITY THAT THE APU COULD HAVE BURNT UP WHAT RESIDUAL WAS LEFT DURING RUNS. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE AREAS THE BORESCOPE WOULD NOT FIT WITHOUT FURTHER DISASSEMBLY OF THE APU. JOHN AT MCC HAS INFORMED ME THAT ONLY LAST NIGHT THE APU WAS REPLACED FOR OIL LEAKAGE. GIVEN THIS INFONNATION AND MY FINDINGS, MCC AGREES THAT THIS IS HIGHLY LIKELY RESIDUAL OIL THAT HAS SETTLED IN THE BLEED AIR DUCTING CAUSING THE SMOKE. TECH VERIFIED THERE IS NO OIL ABOVE THE ENGINE BLEED AIR Y DUCTING AT THIS TIME TECH WILL BE BACK LATER THIS MORNING TO COMPLY WITH THE TASK CARD ASSIGNED TO CLEAR BLEED DUCTS AND R&R HEPA FILTER. PARTS PUT ON ORDER FOR WIGGINS BLEED AIR DUCT SEALS. ALL WORK COMPLETED IN REFEN:NCC WITH CITATION 680A MAINTENANCE MANUAL CHAPTER 49-10-00. COMPLIED WITH TASK CARD TC-613A-21-181006M ENLLIRONMENT.AL CONTROL SYSTEM BLEED DUCT. BUN PROCEDURE USING THE LATEST REVISION POSTED ON COMPLY 365 NO SMOKE OR ODOR NOTED AT THIS TIME. R&R HEPA FILTER AS REQUIRED IN TASK CARD TC---68A·21-181006M. ALL WORK COMPLETED IN REFERENCE WITH CITATION MAINTENANCE MANUAL CHAP 21·70-10.
MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR IS DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND CLOSE. OPS CHECKED MAIN CABIN DOOR, DOOR WOULD CLOSE BUT WHEN OPENING DOOR LATCH THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN, DOOR WOULD HAVE TO BE MANUALLY PULLED THEN IT WOULD DROP OPEN. AFTER INSPECTING THE DOOR WE NOTICED THE AFT DOOR RUB BLOCK LOSE, RE SECURED RUB BLOCK AND OPS CHECKED DOOR. OPS CHECK GOOD, DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES WITH NO ISSUES. WORK JAW CE·680A AMM 52-00·00
EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY: EMERGENCY LIGHTS WILL NOT COME ON WHEN EMER BATTERY SWITCH IS PLACED IN THE ARM POSITION. SHIPS BATTERIES ARE CONNECTED. COCKPIT POWER IS OFF. EMER LIGHTS DO COME ON WHEN THE EMER LIGHT SWITCH IS PLACED IN THE ON POSITION. PRELIMINARY INSPECTION VERIFY DISCREPANCY. TROUBLE SHOT ISSUE TO #1 EMERGENCY BATTERY LOW VOLTAGE GAINED ACCESS TO #1 BATTERY VC019 REMOVED AND REPLACED #1 BATTERY IAW CE680A 33-50-06 PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY OPS CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHT IAW CE680A AMM 33-50-00 RESTORED AIRCRAFT TO ORGINAL CONFIGURATION.
MAIN DOOR HANDLE: THE HANDLE FOR THE MAIN CABIN DOOR IS BINDING AND REQUIRED EXCESSIVE FORCE TO MOVE INTO EITHER THE OPEN OR CLOSED POSITION. //SIGNOFF// VISUALLY INSPECTED MAIN CABIN DOOR ASSY. NO DEFECTS NOTED. COMPLETED CABIN DOOR OPERATIONAL CHECK REF. CE-680A MM 52-10-00. OPS CKS GOOD

EXTREME FORWARD FORCE, ON YOKE, USED TO KEEP AIRCRAFT CONTROL ON TAKEOFF. FOUND TRIM POINTER MIS-INDEXED IN TRIM WHEEL. RE-INDEXED POINTER TO PROPER POSITION. ELEVATOR TRIM SYSTEM OPS CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME. WORK DONE IAW CE-560XL M/M 27-32-01
AFTER LOWERING LANDING GEAR (MASTER CAUTION) ALONG WITH (LOW BRAKE PRESS) AND (ANTISKID INOP) ILLUMINATED FLASHING FOR APPROX 30 SECONDS. LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED PRIOR TO LANDING AND NORMAL BRAKING WAS NOTED. T/S FOUND SYSTEM OPS CHECKS NORMAL. ITEM IS A COLD SOAK ISSUE. REMOVED & REPLACED BRAKE MOTOR. CYCLE TIME SAME AS PREVIOUS MOTOR. REMOVED & REPLACED BRAKE POWER PACK ASSY WITH A NEW ASSY. BLED BRAKE BRAKES. OPS CHECKS GOOD I/A/W CE560 XL M/M 32-42-06
ELECTRIC PITCH TRIM IS INOP ON BOTH PILOT AND COPILOT YOKES, DIVERTED. FOUND PILOTS AUTOPILOT DISENGAGE SWITCH FAILED. REMOVED AND REPLACED PILOTS AUTOPILOT SWITCH WITH NEW PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST. OPERATION TESTS GOOD. WORK DONE IAW CESSNA 560XL MM CH 27-10-05.
LEFT LOGO LIGHT CAUGHT FIRE, EXTINGUSHED W/ FIRE RETARDANT. (TAIL WAS DEICED PRIOR TO INCIDENT) INSPECTED AREA & FOUND NO DAMAGE. REMOVED LIGHT ASSY & FOUND NO DAMAGE. SUSPECT DE-ICE FLUID REACHED ITS FLASH POINT OF 230 DEGREES F DUE TO TEMP OF LENS. FIRE RETARDANT WAS CLEANED FROM SURFACES BY JET BLAST CLEANING CO. LIGHT ASSY OPS CHECKED GOOD NO FAULTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK DONE IAW CE560XL MM
DURING A CABLE CHANGE ON THE AILERON SYSTEM, THE PROPER CABLE TENSION COULD NOT BE BROUGHT UP. UPON INSPECTION FOUND NEW CABLE ASSEMBLY TERMINAL END WAS NOT PROPERLY MACHINED. BECAUSE THE NECK (AREA BETWEEN THREADS AND TOOL HOLE) WAS NOT REDUCED THE TURNBARREL BOTTOMS ON THREADS AND CAN NOT BE ADJUSTED TO TENSION REQUIRED.
AS THRUST LEVERS WERE SET TO TAKEOFF POWER, WARNING HORN SOUNDED. TAKEOFF WAS REJECTED. FAULT WAS ISOLATED TO GEAR WARNING HORN. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
WHILE ON THE TAXIWAY WITH THE PARKING BRAKE SET THE MASTER CAUTION ILLUMINATED WITH THE LOW BRAKE PRESS AND ANTI-SKID INOP ANNUNCIATORS ILLUMINATED. THE BRAKES FAILED, USED THE EMERGENCY PNEUMATIC BRAKE TO STOP ROLLING. ACCOMPLISHED SEVERAL OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF BRAKE SYSTEM. FOUND BRAKE PACK TO OPERATE AT 1200 PSI AND TURN OFF AT 1500 PSI. REPLACED PRESSURE SWITCH S/N 011 AS A PRECAUTION. REMOVED SWITCH. INSTALLED A REPAIRED SWITCH. LEAK AND OPS CHECK WAS FOUND TO BE SATISFACTORY. ACCOMPLISHED IAW CE560XL MM 32-42-06. ACCOMPLISHED BLEEDING OF ANTI-SKID BRAKE SYSTEM IAW CE560XL MM 32-40-00. SERVICED EMERGENCY GEAR AND PNEUMATIC BRAKE BOTTLE IAW CE560XL MM 12-13-01.

AFTER TAKEOFF GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM AND FOUND LANDING GEAR CONTROL UNIT NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. REMOVED CONTROL UNIT S/N - 0110 AND INSTALLED CONTROL UNIT S/N - 0088. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK, NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME IAW CE560XL AMM 32-30-01, 32-01-00.
LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. INSPECTED SYSTEM PER M/M 32-30-00, RAN GEAR UP & DOWN SEVERAL TIME NO DEFECTS NOTED, OPS CHECK GOOD. SERVICED HYD RESERVOIR.
