PILOT REPORTED THAT ON FINAL APPROACH HE SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND NOTHING HAPPENED. PILOT CYCLED LANDING GEAR SELECTOR SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE RECEIVING A HYDRAULIC LOW WARNING ANNUNCIATOR. PILOT PULLED THE CIRCUIT BREAKER MANUALLY EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR THEN LANDED SAFELY. MAINTENANCE TESTED AND FOUND THE LANDING GEAR MOTOR AND RELAY INOPERATIVE. BOTH COMPONENTS WERE REPLACED AND APPROVED AIRCRAFT FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. NO FURTHER SYSTEM FAILURES NOTED ON SUBSEQUENT FLIGHTS.
THE PILOT WAS COMPLETING A REVENUE FLIGHT FROM MHT TO RUT. HE STATED THAT WHEN APPROACHING RUT HE HAD 3 GREEN LIGHTS BUT THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE DROPPED, THE LANDING GEAR BREAKER POPPED AND HE DIDNâT FEEL THE GEAR HAD FULLY EXTENDED. HE DID NOT DECLARE AN EMERGENCY. THE PILOT PERFORMED A FLYBY AT RUT AND GROUND MAINTENANCE REPORTED TO HIM THAT THE NOSE GEAR WAS NOT FULLY DOWN. HE USED THE EMERGENCY HAND PUMP TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE GEAR EXTENSION. THE PILOT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT ON RUNWAY 31 AT RUT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED (GEAR DOWN) TO ITS MAINTENANCE BASE AT MHT THE SAME DAY, WHERE THE LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC POWER PACK MOTOR WAS CHANGED AND THE AIRCRAFT PLACED BACK IN SERVICE. THE FAILED MOTOR WAS INSTALLED ON 10/28/2020 AND HAD 323.2 HRS AND 431 LANDINGS SINCE OVERHAUL. OVERHAUL IS DUE AT 10,000 LANDINGS.

DURING A SCHEDULED BOROSCOPE OF THE RT ENGINE, THE COMPRESSOR TURBINE BLADES WERE FOUND DAMAGED BY FOD AND A POWER TURBINE CONTAINMENT SHROUD BOLT HEAD WAS FOUND BROKEN OFF AND RETAINED BY SAFETY WIRE. THE REST OF THE BOLT BACKED OUT OF ITS THREADED HOLE AND PASSED THROUGH THE COMPRESSOR TURBINE STATOR & DISC AND THE POWER TURBINE STATOR & DISC BEFORE EXITING THE ENGINE.
DURING A SCHEDULED BORESCOPE OF THE RT ENGINE FOUND THE CT BLADES WERE FOUND TO BE DAMAGED DUE TO FOD. A POWER TURBINE CONTAINMENT SHROUD BOLT HEAD WAS FOUND BROKEN OFF AND STILL TIED WITH SAFETY WIRE. THE REMAINDER OF THE BOLT HAD VIBRATED OUT OF ITS HOLE AND CAUSED FOD DAMAGE BEFORE EXITING THE SPACE.
ON APPROACH, THE PILOT SELECTED THE LG TO THE DOWN POSITION. THE LG FAILED TO EXTEND & THE LG CONTROL CB POPPED. THE PILOT RESET THE CB & CYCLED THE LG WITH THE SAME RESULTS, THE CB POPPED & THE LG WOULD NOT EXTEND. THE PILOT PERFORMED AN EMER GEAR EXTENSION, THE LG EXTENDED TO THE FULL DOWN & LOCKED POSITION WITH 3 GREEN SAFE INDICATIONS. THE PILOT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MX FOUND THE LG ELEC MOTOR, PN 115-380002-5 INOPERATIVE. R & R THE LG MOTOR. THE LANDING SYS WAS FUNCTIONAL CHECKED THROUGH FIVE GEAR CYCLES. LG SYS CHECKED NORMAL..
AFTER DEPARTURE PILOT SELECTED LG HANDLE TO RETRACT POSITION, LG FAILED TO FULLY RETRACT. PILOT TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED CB HAD POPPED & LG RED INDICATOR LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. RESET CB & PLACED LG HANDLE IN EXTEND POSITION, BOTH LT & RT MLG EXTENDED & LOCKED, NOSE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND, CB POPPED AGAIN & LOW HYD FLUID INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. PILOT DECIDED TO MANUALLY EXTENDED LG USING EMER PROCEDURES & LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. INSPECTION OF ACFT FOUND THE HYD LINE CONNECTED TO 20619-1 FITTING WAS CRACKED. R & R FITTING IAW MM 29-10-00, PERFORMED LG OPERATIONAL CHECKS IAW MM 32-31-00. ALL OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE NORMAL.
