PAX & CREW DETECTED A DISTINCTIVE ODOR LIKE ELECTRICAL NATURE. REMOVED INTERNALLY MELTED STARTER/GEN AND INSTALLED OVERHAULED STARTER/GEN IAW AMM 80-10-25. OPS CHKD GOOD. REMOVED BURNED APU CONTROL PCB AND INSTALLED A REPAIRED PCB IAW AMM 24-60-35. OPS CHKD GOOD.
PASSENGER / CREW DOORS: CABIN DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGE WOULD NOT CLEAR WITH CABIN DOOR CLOSED. ALL LATCHES WERE CONFIRMED ENGAGED. RAN QRH PROCEDURE AND WOULD NOT CLEAR THEN RAN PROCEDURE WITH MCC AND STILL WOULD NOT CLEAR. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACED UPPER THRESHOLD HARNESS. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW CE680A SPM 20-30-00
DURING PREFLIGHT WITH EMER LTS SWITCH IN ARM, THE AFT BULKHEAD EXIT SIGN AND THE UNDER LAV EXIT SIGN WILL NOT ILLUMINATE. WITH THE SWITCH IN ON, NO LIGHTS WILL ILLUMINATE. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE #4 EMERGENCY LIGHTS POWER SUPPLY WITH A NJA SUPPLIED REPAIRED UNIT OPS CHECKED SATISFACTORY, IAW AMM 33·50-06.

NO LOAD, BATTS EQUALIZE AT-25 AMPS LAND ·35 AMPS R. OEPRATED DOOR AND L BATT RECEIVED EXTRA 10AMP LOAD CONTINUOUSLY THROUGHOUT CYCLE AND OPERATED WITHIN 8 SECONDS, WELL WITHIN GIVEN PARAMETERS. PERFORMED CYCLE SEVERAL MORE TIMES WITH SAME RESULTS. POWERED ON APU PER CE-680A AMM 49-00-00 AND LET APU GENERATOR CHARGE BATTERIES TO FULL. ONCE CHARGING AMPS FOR BOTH BATTS REACHED O, ATTEMPTED DOOR CLOSING AGAIN WITH SAME RESULTS, TURNED OFF APU AND REMOVED BATTERY POWER, SPOKE WITH MCC AND RELAYED FINDINGS. MCC ELECTED TO CALL THE OPERATION OF THE DOOR SATISFACTORY.

TROUBLESHOT TO PILOTS LT RUDDER PEDAL CHAFING ON AVIONICS WIRE BUNDLE. REPAIRED WIRES AND REPOSITIONED WIRES FOR PROPER CLEARANCE. OPS CHECKS OF AVIONICS SYS NORMAL. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 20-21-03 AND 34-11-08.
THE TRIM (PITCH) INDICATOR WHILE IN CRUISE IS AT THE MOST FWD PART OF THE TRIM INDICATOR. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE ELEVATOR TRIM TABA CONTROL WHEEL P/N 5565756-3. ALSO REPLACED POINTER ARM ASSY. P/N 5565756. ALSO REPLACED POINTER ARM ASSY P/N 6661053-15, POINTER P/N 666042-12 AND ADDED (2) SHIMS P/N 6661042-16. I.AW SB REF: FIG 1 DETAIL C AND THE MM CHAP 27-32-01. ALL RIGGING CHECKS AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY AT THIS TIME.
VERY HIGH DEGREE OF VIBRATION IN CONTROL COLUMN AND YOKE AT ALL SPEEDS ABOVE 250 KNOTS AND AT ALL ALTITUDES ABOVE THAT SPEED. PERFORMED ELEVATOR AND ELEVATOR TRIM CABLE TENSION CHECK, PERFORMED FREE PLAY CHECK ON RT/LT AILERON, ALSO PERFORMED INSPECTION OF CABLES, PULLEYS, BELL CRANK AND ROD ENDS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. IAW MM 27-31-00
AFTER TAKEOFF AND POSITIVE RATE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED UP, THE (3) GEAR LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED BUT THE RED UNLOCK LIGHT ILLUMINATED. REMOVED AND REPLACED WIRE EPR002-APR034 BETWEEN PLUGS PR002 AND PR034 IAW WIRING MANUAL 20-10-01. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW 32-61-00 AND 32-01-00.

ON LANDING, LT BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR WHEN PRESSURE APPLIED WITH NO LT SIDE BRAKING. AC STOPPED WITH NO INCIDENT AND AFTER PUMPING BRAKES REGAINED MINIMAL PRESSURE ON LT SIDE. DID NOT USE EMERGENCY BRAKING. NOT REQUIRED TO STOP AIRCRAFT. CONFIRMED DISCREPANCY. PERFORMED BRAKE BLEED PROCEDURES ON MAIN BRAKES. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK WITH NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. ACCESS PANEL JUST AFT OF LT LANDING LIGHT IN JUST IN FRONT OF WING CAME OFF DURING FLIGHT. INSTALLED ACCESS PANEL UNDER LT WING IAW CE560XL MM CHP 53-30-00
CAPTAINS LT BRAKE IS VERY SPONGY BUT WILL CATCH AFTER ALMOST FULL DEPRESSION. REMOVED AND REPLACED PILOT'S LT AND RT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS AND BLED SYSTEM IAW MM 32-42, OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK, NO DEFECTS FOUND.
DURING TAXI AND ON 2 OCCASIONS WITHIN 5 MINUTES RED GEAR UNSAFE ILLUMINATED ACCOMPANIED BY GEAR UNSAFE HORN AND LEFT MAIN GEAR LIGHT EXTINGUISHING FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO SECONDS. REMOVED AND REPLACED LT MLG ACTUATOR. PERFORMED GEAR FUNCTIONAL CHECK INCLUDING EMERGENCY BLOW DOWN ALL CHECKS GOOD. BLED SYSTEM AND RE-SERVICED N2 BOTTLE. ALL WORK DONE IAW 560XL M/M 32-30-04.
DURING ROLL OUT BRAKE LOW PRESSURE AND ANTI-SKID INOP LIGHTS ILLUMINATED THEN WENT OUT. POST FLIGHT BRAKE PRESSURE PUMP UNABLE TO MAINTAIN 1400 PSI STATIC, OR 900 PSI WITH BRAKES APPLIED. INSPECTED BRAKE HYDRAULIC POWER PACK FOR LEAKAGE. VERIFIED PUMP GENERATING PRESSURE. VERIFIED HI AND LO PRESSURE SWITCHES ACTUATING PROPERLY USING A VOLT OHM METER. FOUND THAT THE HYDRAULIC POWER PACK RELAY WAS STUCK IN THE CONTACTED POSITION. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RELAY (KN003) SYSTEM OPERATIONALLY TESTED OK. REF: 560XL MM 20-00 AND 32-42-00.
ELEVATOR HAS A BINDING/VIBRATION WHEN MOVING IN FLT TAIL IN EITHER POSITION. FIND ON THE GROUND TRIM IS OK. VISUALLY CHECKED ELEVATOR CONTROL COLUMN PUSH PULL TUBE ATTACH POINTS, BELLCRANK, AFT BELLCRANK, ELEVATOR SERVO CABLES, AFT PUSH PULL TUBES, ELEVATOR CONTROL SURFACE HINGES, ELEVATOR CABLE TENSIONS. NO ANOMOLIES FOUND. RAN ELEVATOR TRIM MANUALLY AND ELECTRICALLY, NO DEFECTS NOTED. MX PERF IAW CE-560XL MM CHP 27-31-00.
NOSE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND FOR LANDING TWICE. 40 SECS PASSED BEFORE GREEN SAFE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON SECOND TRY. ACCOMPLISHED GEAR EXTENSION AND RETRACTION CYCLE TIME TEST IAW MM 32-01-00 OPS CHECK GOOD. CHECKED WIRING FROM NOSE TO LIGHT, CYCLED GEAR SEVERAL TIMES NO PROBLEM FOUND. SUGGEST TECH GO ON TEST FLIGHT TO MONITOR GEAR PCB. CHECKED NLG GROUND GN011, CHECK GOOD IAW MM CH 20-21-02. REMOVED NOSE ACTUATOR AND INSTALLED REPAIRED ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-30-03. OP CHECK AND LEAK OK. GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF, WHEN LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED, RED UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED, HYD PRESS AND STAB MISCOMP LIGHT ILLUMINATED. LANDING GEAR WAS LOWERED NORMALLY. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. FOUND NOSE GEAR FAILED RETRACTION TIME CHECK. INSTALLED SERVICEABLE ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-20-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. FOUND POORLY CRIMPED HANDSHAKE SPLICES ON LT UPLOCK SWITCH WIRE BUNDLE. RAN NEW WIRES AS REQUIRED IAW WIRING MANUAL 20-10-00. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF WHEN LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED, UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. HYD PRESS AND STAB MISCOMP, CAUTION LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. LANDING GEAR WAS LOWERED NORMALLY. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. JACKED AIRCRAFT, REMOVED & REPLACED LT MLG UPLOCK SWITCH. CYCLED GEAR & FLAPS MULTIPLE TIMES IAW CE 560XL MM 32-01-00.
REPEAT WRITE UP - WHEN GEAR WAS LOWERED THE LT MAIN GREEN LIGHT AND THE RED GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT FLICKERED FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS. THEN ALL MAIN GEAR LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. REMOVED AND REPLACED LANDING GEAR CONTROL HANDLE AND PERFORMED SEVERAL GEAR SWINGS. OPS CHECK GOOD. REF CH 32-30-00 OF THE MM.

REMOVED AND REPLACED INOP DIODE WITH A NEW DIODE AS REQUIRED OPS CHECK GOOD. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CE-560XL MM CHAPTER 32-30-00 AND 32-01-00.
ON APPROACH LOWERED GEAR LT MAIN LIGHT WAS FLICKERING, UNSAFE LIGHT FLICKERING ALSO. DID GO AROUND RAISED GEAR. LOWERED GEAR 2ND TIME SAME INDICATION. BLEW GEAR DOWN PER CHECKLIST. FLICKER LIGHTS DID NOT STOP UNTIL LANDING GEAR WENT TO SAFE INDICATIONS. PERFORMED GEAR SWING OP'S CK. DUPLICATED DISCREPANCY REMOVED AND REPLACED LT DOWNLOCK SWITCH. PERFORMED SWITCH RIGGING AND NUMEROUS GEAR SWING OP'S CKS. OP'S CK GOOD AT THIS TIME. WORK REF 560XL MM 32-01-00 AND 32-60-01.

AFTER EXTENDING LANDING GEAR, LT MAIN GEAR GREEN LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE, BLOW-DOWN OF GEAR. FOUND BOTH LT GEAR INDICATOR BULBS TO BE INOPERATIVE. REMOVED BULBS AND REPLACED WITH 2 NEW BULBS, OPS CHECK GOOD IAW CESSNA 560XL MM CHAPTER 33-10-06.
UPON DESCENT STRONG EXHAUST SMELL OF JET FUMES, APU WAS NOT RUNNING AT THE TIME, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SOURCES SHOWED 50 DEGREES. INSPECTED BOTH ENGINE INLETS AND TAILPIPES FOR TRACES OF OIL, NONE FOUND. OPENED LOWER COWLS AND RAN BOTH ENGINES INDIVIDUALLY FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, NO EXTERNAL FUEL OR OIL LEAKAGE WAS OBSERVED, NO UNUSUAL ODORS WERE DETECTED INSIDE THE CABIN COMING FROM THE AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. OPENED THE WATER SEPARATOR TO CHECK FOR SIGNS OF OIL, NONE FOUND. ALL APPEARS TO BE NORMAL AT THIS TIME.
