LEFT ENGINE THROTTLE LEVER. UPON RUNWAY LINE-UP, FIRST OFFICER ADVANCED THROTTLES, LEFT THROTTLE DID NOT ADVANCE BEYOND THE CONTROL LOCK POSITION. CONTROL LOCK WAS NOT ON, AND NO CAS MESSAGES WERE DISPLAYED. PERFORMED VOLTAGE AND RESIISTANCE CHECKS OF CONTROL LOCK PROX SWITCH'S IAW WDM 22-30-01 WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. DURING CONTROL LOCK OPS CHECKS FOUND AUTO THROTTLE INTERNAL LOCKING SOLENOID INTERMITTENT. REMVOED AUTO THROTTLE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLED INSPECTED CONDITION AUTO THROTTLE ASSEMBLY IAW AMM 22-30-05. PERFORMED OPS AND FUNCTIONAL CHECKS IAW AMM 22-30-00 AND 71-00-00. OPS AND FUNCTIONAL CHECKS GOOD NO DEFECTS NOTED.
BOTTOM RIGHT HAND EXIT SIGN ASSEMBLY IS MISSING COMPLETELY. NO SIGN OF ANY DAMAGE ON THE SURROUNDING PLASTIC. UNABLE TO TELL IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTING WIRES. INSTALLED REPLACEMENT FOR MISSING FORWARD ENTRY DOOR EMERGENCY EXIT INDICATOR LIGHT ASSEMBLY IAW MM 33-50-00. COMPLIED WITH OPS CHK OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS SYS IAW MM 33-50-00. OPS CHKD GOOD. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.

ON FINAL, GEAR WAS EXTENDED AND NG DID NOT EXTEND. WE RETRACTED THE HANDLE, PAUSED, AND GEAR EXTENDED NORMALLY ON THAT ATTEMPT. REMOVED FAULTY NLG UPLOCK ACTUATOR AND INSTALLED THE NEW UPLOCK ACTUATOR USING ONE NEW SPRING IAW MM 32-32-15. APPLIED ELECTRICAL & HYDRAULIC POWER TO ACFT, PERFORMED HYD SYSTEM BLEED PROCEDURE IAW MM 12-10-30. COMPLIED WITH MANUAL GEAR RELEASE FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW MM 32-34-00. COMPLIED WITH EMERGENCY MLG EXTENSION SYS FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW MM 32-34- 00, PERFORMED THE HYD SYS BLEED PROCEDURE IAW MM 12-10-30. PERFORMED MLG OPS CHECK IAW MM 32-00-00, NO DISCREPANCIES. PERFORMED AN ADDITIONAL 50 GEAR SWINGS WITH NO DISCREPANCIES.
CABIN DOOR OPEN AMBER CAS: DURING DESCENT CABIN DOOR AMBER CAME ON PRESSURIZATION WAS FINE. AFTER LANDING PLANE WAS SHUT DOWN AND TURNED BACK ON CABIN DOOR WAS OPENED AND CLOSED AND DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK AND NO FLAGS. REMOVED PCB NC105 AND INSTALLED AS RECEIVED NEW PCB NC105. OPS CHECKS GOOD WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED I.A.W. CESSNA 680A MM 52-10-04, 24-60-40, 52-70-10, 52-70-00, 31-59-00 AND 52-10-50 AND IMM 25-10-03.
CHECK DOORS AND CABIN DOOR OPEN LIGHT IN FLIGHT. MAINTAINED PRESSURIZATION AS EXPECTED. COULD NOT VERIFY DOOR PIN POSITION ON GROUND DUE TO RAIN, MISSED, AND FOG IN INDICATOR WINDOW. MAIN DOOR HANDLE HAS A BIT OF A CATCH WHEN CLOSING. RAN APPROPRIATE QRH, CONTACTED MX AND FODM IN FLIGHT. PERFORMED DOOR RESET AND MESSAGE CLEARED. PERFORMED MULIPLE SATISFACTORY OPS CHECK AT THIS TIME. VERIFIED DOOR PINS AND FLAGS. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. REF MM 52-00-00.
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: IN THE ON POSITION EMER LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON WITH BATT OFF OR BATT ON. ALL LIGHTS COME ON IN THE ARM POSITION WITH BATT OFF. MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR IS DIFFICULT TO CLOSE FROM BOTH THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. ADJUSTED DOOR IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00, OPS CHECK GOOD.
FOUND A FOUR INCH CRACK IN THE LT LOWER WING SKIN, JUST INBOARD OF WHEEL WELL OPENING. REPAIRED THE SKIN IAW ERO-911328, REV IR.
RUDDER TRIM TAB HINGE PIN, RETAINING COTTER PIN WAS MISSING WHICH CAUSED THE HINGE PIN TO MIGRATE AND CHAFE A HOLE INTO LOWER RUDDER RIB BENEATH RUDDER TRIM TAB. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RIB IAW 51-40-03, 51-40-04, 51-40-06, AND MM 20-32-00.
AC EXPERIENCED STRONG VIBRATIONS ON NOSE FLOOR AND RUDDER PEDALS AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. INDICATIONS NORMAL. LOWERED GEAR AND LANDED. VIBRATIONS STOPPED PRIOR TO LOWERING GEAR. FOUND NOSE TIRE/WHEEL UNBALANCED AND NOT TORQUED TO PROPER SPECS. BALANCED NOSE WHEEL /TIRE ASSY IAW MM CHPT 32-41-01. CHECK GOOD. CLEANED, INSPECTED WHEEL BEARINGS, CHECKED GOOD. REPACKED BEARINGS. INSTALLED NOSE WHEEL / TIRE ASSY AND TORQUED IAW MM CHPT 32-41-01. LT MLG DOOR OUT OF RIG. ADJUSTED OPS AND GEAR SWING CHECKS GOOD. REF MM CHPT 32-10-00. BOLT PN: AN5-55 NSN. NUT PN: MS17825-5 NSN.
3 - 5 MINUTES AFTER TAKEOFF, POWER BRAKE CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED & ANTISKID INOP ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. CIRCUIT BREAKER WOULD NOT RESET. AFTER 30 MINUTES, CIRCUIT BREAKER RESET. AT LANDING THE BRAKES WORKED, FELT SOFT. BRAKE FLUID LEVELS NORMAL. NO LEAKS NOTED. TROUBLESHOT THE POWER BRAKE CIRCUIT BREAKER, NO DEFECTS NOTED. WITH SQUAT SWITCHES IN AIR & GEAR HANDLE UP, SHOOK WIRE BUNDLE FROM CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL TO RELAY. NO FAULTS FOUND. REPLACE BRAKE CONTROL MOTOR RELAY & POWER BRAKE CIRCUIT BREAKER. R & R POWER BREAK CIRCUIT BREAKER & BRAKE CONTROL MOTOR RELAY IAW MM 20-21-03. OPS CHECKED GOOD. ACCOMPLISHED LT AND RT BRAKE BLEED IAW MM 32-42-00, LEAK & TAXI CHECKED GOOD.
DURING CLIMB OUT, THE ELEVATOR TRIM WOULD NOT TRIM FWD AS NEEDED. AIRPLANE WAS BEING HAND FLOWN AT THE TIME. UPON LEVEL OFF WE TRIED TO TRIM MANUALLY & THE TRIM MOMENTARILY WOULD MOVE IN REVERSE BUT NOTHING FWD OF WHERE IT STOPPED WORKING PREVIOUSLY. ONCE SPEED WAS SLOWED, CONTROL FORCES BECAME MORE MANAGEABLE. UPON TAXI IN TRIM WAS STILL JAMMED. MAINTENANCE ADVISED TO REGREASE ACTUATORS. GREASED ACTUATORS. OPERATIONAL CHECK OF MANUAL AND ELECTRIC ELEVATOR TRIM GOOD. WORK DONE IAW MM CH 12-21-01, 27-32-02.
AFTER TAKEOFF, CLIMBING THROUGH 10000 FT, COCKPIT RECIRC FAN WAS SWITCHED ON HI. A STRONG ODOR OF BURNING AND MELTED PLASTIC WAS NOTED. FAN WAS TURNED OFF, BUT ODOR CONTINUED AND SEEMED TO GET STRONGER. NO SMOKE WAS NOTED. CO-PILOT NOTED A RATTLING SOUND COMING FROM THE RECIRCULATION FAN WHEN IT WAS ON. PERFORMED ENG RUN , NO NOTICEABLE ODOR OF MELTED PLASTIC IN COCKPIT OR CABIN , COCKPIT RECIRULATION FAN HAS BAD BEARING DEFECTIVE UNIT ORDERED NEW FAN ASSY, R & R COCKPIT RECIRC FAN IAW MM 21-22-00. OPS CHECKED NORMAL.
EXCESSIVE VIBRATION IN CONTROL WHEEL COLUMN. MORE PRONOUNCED AT SPEEDS ABOVE 250 IAS. INSPECTED PRIMARY AND SECONDARY FLIGHT CONTROLS FOR SECURITY AND FREE PLAY. FOUND BOTH ELEVATOR TRIM TABS HAD SOME PLAY IN THEM. DISCONNECTED ELEVATOR TRIM TABS FROM PUSH RODS, FOUND THAT BEARINGS IN ELEVATOR TRIM TABS WERE VERY WORN. R & R ALL 4 TRIM TAB BEARINGS ON ELEVATOR TRIM TABS IAW MM CH 20-10-08. RECONNECTED TRIM TABS TO PUSHRODS WITH NEW HARDWARE. FOUND FREEPLAY HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM ELEVATOR TRIM TABS. PERFORMED OPS AND TRAVEL CHECKS OF ELEVATOR TRIM TABS IAW MM CH 27-31-00. ALL CHECKED GOOD.
FOUR VERTICAL ATTACH BOLTS ARE LOOSE AT THE VERTICAL STAB AFT SPAR ASSY TO WEB/RIB ASSY FS 588 - WL161.5. RETORQUED TO STANDARD PRACTICES.

BINDING IN RUDDER PEDALS WHEN TURNING. MORE PROMINENT IN RIGHT HAND TURNS. FEELS LIKE SOMETHING BINDS MOMENTARILY THEN RELEASES. CAN HEAR "POP" AND FEEL IT IN BOTH PEDALS. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK. BINDING SOUND APPEARED TO BE LOUDER ON PILOT SIDE. INSPECTED NLG WW & FOUND STEERING BUNGEE ASSY CAUSING BINDING. DISCONNECTED BUNGEE FROM RUDDER PEDAL SYS & OPERATED RUDDER PEDALS, NO BINDING HEARD. REMOVED OLD BUNGEE & HARDWARE INSTALLED NEW BUNGEE & HARDWARE. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK. NO DEFECTS NOTED. WORK DONE IAW MM 32-50-00.
HYDRAULIC PRESS LIGHT WOULD NOT EXTINGUISH AFTER TAKEOFF. GEAR WAS UP AND FLAPS WERE 0. WHEN FLAPS WERE PUT DOWN, LIGHT WENT OUT. AFTER LANDING, HYDRAULIC LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND REMAINED ON UNTIL SHUTDOWN. REMOVED SEVERAL ACCESS PANELS ON BELLY TO ACCESS CONNECTORS PM001 & PS001 FOUND RT WING FLAP LIMIT SWITCH BAD. ALSO CONNECTORS FOR SEVERAL CONNECTORS TO VALVES IN HYD BAY MARKED. TROUBLESHOT TO DEFECTIVE RT FLAP ACTUATOR LIMIT SWITCH. REMOVED RT FLAP ACTUATOR ATTACHING HARDWARE. REINSTALLED ACCESS PANELS ON BELLY & RESAFETIED CONNECTORS REMOVED FOR T/S. R & R RT FLAP ACTUATOR IAW MM 27-51-04 FLAP SYSTEM OPS & LEAK CHECK GOOD.
DURING ROUTINE INSP, FOUND BROKEN STRANDS ON ELEVATOR TRIM CABLE ASSY PN 666000134. DAMAGE FOUND WHERE CABLE PASSES THROUGH A SERIES OF "S" PULLEYS. (K)
WHEN GEAR SELECTED DOWN THE RT SIDE GREEN LIGHT DIDN'T ILLUMINATE. VISUALLY INSPECTED LANDING GEAR SYSTEM. C/W LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW THE CE-560XL MM CH 32-01-00 GEAR SWING & FUNCTIONAL CHECK GOOD. RESET AND SERVICED GARE BLOW DOWN BOTTLE IAW MM 12-13-01. LEAK CHECK GOOD.
DURING LANDING GEAR EXTENSION THE RT MAIN GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND AND THE (HYD PRESS) ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY. THE LANDING GEAR EXTENDED AFTER COMPLETING THE LANDING GEAR WILL NOT EXTEND CHECKLIST. REMOVED AND REPLACED RT MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR. CAMBER CHECKS GOOD. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. WORK DONE IAW MM 32-01-00. RENTAL ACTUATOR WITH 1421 CYCLES.
AFTER LANDING WHILE TAXIING TO RAMP, MASTER CAUTION ILLUMINATED ALONG WITH THE LO BRK PRESS/ANTI SKD INOP ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATION. AFTER ACFT WAS PARKED/CHOCKED, CREW DISCOVERED BRAKE FLUID POURING DOWN FROM NOSE COMPARTMENT ONTO NOSE GEAR. ACCOMPLISHED SB. OPS CHECKED AND LEAK CHECKED WITH NO FAULTS FOUND. (NOTE: SB 560-32-32 IS REPLACEMENT OF THE BRAKE HYDRAULIC PACK FILTER BOWL.)

RAN CHECKLIST 23, GEAR CAME DOWN WHEN GEAR CONTROL CB RESET. CONT W/CHECKLIST. BLOW DOWN BOTTLE USED. REMOVED AND REPLACED RT MLG ACTUATOR. BLED AND SERVICED. OPS CHECKS GOOD. IAW MM 32-20-04
AFTER LANDING GEAR EXTENSION - NOSE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. RED UNLOCK LIGHT ON. NO NOSE GEAR GREEN LOCK LIGHT. RECYCLED WITH SAME RESULT. AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30 SEC NOSE GEAR EXTENDED & LOCKED. TROUBLESHOT TO BAD ACTUATOR. REPLACED ACTUATOR IAW CESSNA 560XL M/M 32-01-00. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
THE RT LANDING GEAR LIGHT REMAINED ON FOR 15 MINUTES AFTER GEAR RETRACTION . THERE WERE NO OTHER INDICATIONS OF A PROBLEM. ADJUSTED MAIN GEAR DOORS IAW 560XL MM CHAPTER 32-10-00. REMOVED AND REPLACED GEAR CONTROL HANDLE ASSY IAW 560XL MM CHAPTER 32-01-00. ACCOMPLISHED A GEAR SWING AND ANTI-SKID CHECK, CHECKED GOOD IAW 560XL MM CH 32-01-00 AND 32-44-00.
ON LANDING GEAR EXTENSION GREEN L/R MAIN WITH NO NOSE GEAR GREEN AND RED UNLOCK LIGHT. RECYCLED GEAR UP AND THEN DOWN WITH NO GREEN OR RED INDICATION. NO ANOMALIES ON LANDING ROLL OUT. JACKED AIRCRAFT, PERFORMED SEVERAL GEAR RETRACTIONS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED PER CE560XL MM 32-30-00 AND 32-61-00.
ON APPROACH WHEN FLAPS WERE SELECTED TO 15 DEG LOW HYD FLOW LT & RT CAUTION LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THAT WAS FOLLOWED BY LOW HYD LEVEL AT AROUND THE SAME TIME THE FLAPS REACHED 15 DEG BECAUSE OF THE POTENTIAL FOR HYDRAULIC FLUID LOSS, AND EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION WAS PERFORMED. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
