STRONG ELECTRICLAL BURNGING ODOR EMINATING IN AFT LAV AREA. SOURCE UNKNOWN. REMOVED AFT LAV VANITY MIRROR DIFFUSER/SURROUND AND SIDE WALL PANEL. FOUND THE VANITY MIRROR LEFT SIDE AND BOTTOM FLUORESCENT TUBE INOPERATIVE. IAW WM 33-28-50-001 BOTH LAMPS POWERED BY PS0690-262 (P/N 189-720). DETERMINED THAT THIS BALLAST IS SOURCE OF ODOR AND CONFIRMED WITH PILOTS. PULLED AND COLLARED CB -LAV VANITY LIGHTS- IN GALLEY ENTERTAINMENT CABINET CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL. PILOTS CONFIRMED THAT ODOR WAS NO LONGER PRESENT AFTER 1 HR. REINSTALLED LAV SIDE WALL PANEL & VANITY MIRROR DIFFUSER IAW AMM 33-28-02-04. ITEM DEFERRED BY OPERATOR (MEL/NEF 25-60-02 - L/H LAV VANITY LIGHT INOPERATIVE).
