REMOVED PLUG AND CLEANED BACKSHELL AND RESECURED AS REQUIRED. MX IAW PWC 306D MM 73-10-03.

CONTACTED MCC TO DISCUSS IF THEY WOULD LIKE US TCI REPLACE THE UPPER HARNESS AS WELL. PER MCC, IT WAS DECIDED TO REPLACE THE UPPER NOSE LANDING GEAR HARNESS DUE TO MAN POWER AND TOOLING AVAILABILITY. GAINED ACCESS TO AND REMOVED SUSPECTED FAULTY UPPER NOSE LANDING GEAR HARNESS PN: 8469800-2 SN: NSN AND INSTALLED NEW UPPER NOSE LANDING GEAR HARNESS PN: .8469800-2 SN: NSN USING 2 EA. GROMMETS PN: MS35489-141REF CE680A MM 32-20-00. PERFORMED LANDING GEAR OPERATIONAL CHECK IAW CE680A MM 32-00-00 WITH NO DEFECTS OR FAULTS NOTED. NLG HARNESS CLEARANCE CHECKS GOOD. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF TAXI LIGHTS IAW CE680A MM 33-40-00 WITH AND NOTED NLG RH TAXI LIGHT BULB ELEMENT BURNT OUT, SEE DISCREPANCY 6.1 FOR DETAILS. GAINED ACCESS TO AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED VARIOUS OPERATIONAL CHECKS SUCCESSFULLY. DOWNLOADED ARES FILES AND SENT THEM TO TEXTRON FOR REVIEW, PER TEXTRON DOOR LIFT SWITCH IS WORKING INTERMITTENTLY OR THERE IS A WIRING ISSUE. TECH'S PERFORMED GVI INSPECTION OF THE INTERIOR DOOR LIFT SWITCH AND RESEATED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. PERFORMED VARIOUS DOOR CYCLES USING BOTH HE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR DOOR SWITCHES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. NO MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED DUE TO TECHS NOT BEING ABLE TO DUPLICATE SQUAWK. WORK DONE, IAW CE-680A AMM 52-15-00, NO DEFECTS NOTED.

AFTER TAKEOFF WHEN GEAR UP WAS SELECTED THE GEAR RETRACTED NORMALLY FOLLOWED BY AN AMBER LEFT GEAR DN INDICATION, AN AMBER GEAR DISAGREE L, AND AMBER ADC SSEC MISCOMPARE. CLIMB WAS CONTINUED TO 10,000' WITH IAS REMAINING BELOW 200KTS. WHEREUPON THE QRH AMBER MESSAGE PROCEDURE E4 AND X2 WERE ACCOMPLISHED. THE EMERGENCY/ABNORMAL PROCEDURE N2 WAS CONSULTED THEN COMPLETED UPON ARRIVAL AT THE DESTINATION RESULTING IN NORMAL GEAR EXTENSION AND INDICATIONS FOLLOWED BY AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING. RANG OUT THE LEFT HAND LANDING GEAR SQUAT, DOWN LOCK, AND UNLOCK SWITCHES. SWITCHES RANG CORRECT IN AIR AND ON GROUND MODE WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL SWITCHES ARE WORKING AS NORMAL. WE ALSO RANG OUT ALL AIRFRAME GROUNDS FROM THE THREE SWITCHES AND ALL CHECKED GOOD. WE CLEANED EACH CONNECTOR WITH CONTACT CLEANER. PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL TEST WITH THE IN-AIR SIMULATOR TEST BOXES, SYSTEM OPERATED AS NORMAL. REMOVED TEST BOXES AND PERFORMED MULTIPLE GEAR SWINGS AND NO CAS MESSAGES. TEAM SAID THAT THE FAULT CODE 1019 CAME FROM THE LEFT MLG SQUAT SWITCH SAYING THAT WITH THE GEAR HANDLE SELECTED UP THE SQUAT SWITCH STILL SHOWED IT ON THE GROUND. ADVISED SENSE THE SQUAT SWITCH IS WHAT THREW THE FAULT TO BEGIN WITH THEY WOULD RECOMMEND REPLACING THE LEFT MLG SQUAT SWITCH. RECEIVED NEW SQUAT SWITCH. REPLACED SQUAT SWITCH ON LT MAIN LANDING GEAR IAW AMM 32-60-05-4. PERFORMED SQUAT SWITCH RIG IAW AMM32-60-00-5. NO FAULTS NOTED.

NLG - DURING LANDING GEAR EXTENSION ON FINAL APPROACH, NOSE GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. CYCLED LANDING GEAR ONE TIME AND ALL THREE LANDING GEAR EXTENDED NORMALLY. WHEN THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN YOU COULD HEAR THE NOSE GEAR RELEASE FROM THE UPLOCK THEN A FEW SECONDS LATER IT FINALLY EXTENDED. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY WIRING CHECKS OF THE UPLOCK, DOWNLOCK, AND SQUAT SWITCHES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. WE WILL NEED TO JACK THE AIRCRAFT TO PERFORM GEAR SWINGS. HAD TO WAIT FOR A TENNANT TO DEPART SO WE COULD PUT THE AIRCRAFT ON JACKS. JACKED THE AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED SATISFACTORY EXTENSION AND RETRACTIONS OF THE LANDING GEAR WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE DOWNLOCK SWITCH WITH A NEW UNIT IAW MM 32-30-10. ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. ALSO PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE NLG ASSY. AND DOORS AS REQUIRED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY BINDING OR RESTRICTIONS OF THE EXTENSION OR RETRACTION. NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED ANOTHER GEAR SWING TO ENSURE FIT ENSURE PROPER FIT. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
