NLG LANDING GEAR RETRACTION: DURING TAKEOFF THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED TO THE UP POSITION FOR GEAR RETRACTION. THE GREEN NOSE LANDING GEAR DOWN INDICATION REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE RED UNLOCK LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. BOTH MAIN GEAR APPEARED TO RETRACT NORMALLY. THE MAIN LANDING GEAR GREEN LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED. THE EMERGENCY/ABNORMAL QRH CHECKLIST K-4 LANDING GEAR DOWN ANNUNCIATOR DISPLAYS WITH GEAR RETRACTED WAS PERFORMED. THIS CHECKLIST REQUIRES THE LANDING GEAR TO BE BLOWN DOWN. AFTER THE CHECKLIST WAS COMPLETED, ALL THREE GREEN LANDING GEAR INDICATIONS ILLUMINATED. THIS WAS NOT AN OVERWEIGHT LANDING. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE RAMP, I NOTICED SOME DEBRIS NEAR THE NOSEWHEEL UPLOCK. A PHOTO IS ATTACHED OF THE DEBRIS. // SIGNOFF// PERFORMED GVI OF NLG ASSY AND FOUND PIECE OF SPEED TAPES TUCK IN THE UPLOCK MECHANICS, REMOVED TAPE AND COMPLETED INSPECTION WITH NO FINDINGS AS PER CE560XLS AMM 32-20-00. PERFORMED INSPECTION OF THE LANDING GEAR AUXILIARY/EMERGENCY CONTROL SYSTEM AND FOUND GEAR AND BRAKE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM REQUIRES SERVICING. PERFORMED SERVICING OF THE GEAR AND BRAKE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM AND COMPLETED THE INSPECTION WITHOUT ANY DEFECT NOTED. AS PER CE560XLS AMM 32-20--08 AND 12-13-01. PRESSURIZED SYSTEM AND PERFORMED MULTIPLE GEAR SWINGS (30+) WITHOUT ANY DEFECT NOTED PER CE-560XLS 32-01-00.
REPAIRED CRACKS ON MAIN ENTRY DOOR AFT FRAME IN ACCORDANCE WITH AEROSPACE QUALITY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT MRO ERO-971781 REV IR DATED APRIL 26, 2022 APPROVED BY FAA FORM 8110-3 (DERT-806568252) DATED APRIL 26, 2022.
REMOVED MED AFT HINGE HALF, P/N UNKNOWN, FROM AIRCRAFT SIDE DUE TO LEVEL 2 CORROSION. INSTALLED NEW CUSTOMER SUPPLIED MED HINGE HALF P/N 6611037-1 PER SRM 51-40-03, 51-40-06, 51-40-08, 51-40-09, AND MM 20-32-00.
STARTED APU AND TURNED ON BLEED AIR. BOTH CABIN AND COCKPIT AIR SUPPLY TEMPS WENT TO 250. COULDN'T GET THE TEMPS LOWERED EITHER MANUALLY OR AUTOMATICALLY. CABIN BEGAN TO FILL WITH SMOKE AND HAD A PLASTIC BURNING ODOR. R & R SEIZED ACM COOLING TURBINE AND INSTALLED O/H COOLING TURBINE IAW MM 21-51-00. OPS/ LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
AT 4000 FT, 180KTS, 10 SECONDS AFTER SELECTING FLAPS 7, AUTOPILOT KICKED OFF & ACFT PITCHED 20 DEGREES NOSE UP. AFTER STABILIZING ACFT AT 180 KTS, NO NOSE DOWN TRIM REMAINING, & TRIM WAS ALL THE WAY TO STOP. ACFT LANDED, FLAPS 7 & FLAPS WERE LEFT SELECTED AT 7 AFTER SHUTDOWN. STABILIZER APPEARS TO BE IN PROPER POSITION. CHECKED ELEVATOR TRIM CABLE TENSION AND FOUND TO BE LOW. ADJUSTED TENSION AND FOUND MOTOR TO BE BINDING REMOVED ELEVATOR TRIM MOTOR AND INSTALLED NEW MOTOR IAW MM 27-32-04, REV 30. OPS CHECKED GOOD, TRAVEL CHECKED GOOD, CABLE TENSIONS ADJUSTED IAW MM 27-31-00.
DURING TAKEOFF "ACM OVERHEAT" LIGHT ILLUMINATED. ABORTED TAKEOFF. MAIN TIRES BLEW WHEN ACFT WAS ON TAXI WAY. RAN ACM FOR HALF AN HOUR, COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. CLEANED COALESOR SOCK IAW THE MM 21-51-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
ON FINAL, SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT CAME ON , INDICATING THAT THE RT MAIN GEAR WAS NOT DOWN AND LOCK. SELECTED FLAPS 15. CHECKLIST ACCOMPLISHED AND COMPLETED , GEAR BLOWN DOWN WITH NO SUCCESS. RT MAIN LIGHT STAYED OUT. LT MAIN AND NOSE LIGHT (GREEN) STAYED ON, ALONG WITH GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT (RED). FLAPS 35 SELECTED, STAB MISCOMPARE LIGHT CAME ON ALONG WITH THE HYD PRESSURE LIGHT. GEAR HORN STAYED ON UNTIL ENGINES WERE SHUTDOWN. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. VERIFIED RT MLG ACTUATOR FAILED, R & R ACTUATOR. BLED SYSTEM & SERVICED NITROGEN IAW MM 32-30-04 AND 12-13-01. OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER PLACING LANDING GEAR HANDLE DOWN, LANDING GEAR ANNUNCIATOR LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE. ALSO NOTED NO SOUND OR VIBRATION NORMALLY ASSOCIATED WITH GEAR EXTENTION. CREW RAN LANDING GEAR WILL NOT EXTEND CHECKLIST AND ACHIEVED POSITIVE DOWNLOCK INDICATIONS. JACKED ACFT AND PERFORMED RESET OF PNUEMATIC GEAR BOTTLE. PERFORMED MULTIPLE GEAR SWINGS TO BLEED SYSTEM. NO FAILURES AT ANY TIME UP AND DOWN. R & R LANDING GEAR CONTROL HANDLE WITH REPAIRED UNIT IAW AMCC REQUEST. PERFORMED 20 GEAR CYCLES WITH NO FAILURES.
AFTER MLG SELECTED DOWN, ONLY NOSE & RT MLG GREEN DOWN & LOCKED LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. RED GEAR UNLOCKED LIGHT ILLUMINATED & NO INDICATION ON LT MLG (NO GREEN LIGHT). GEAR CYCLED & ALL 3 GREEN DOWN & LOCKED LIGHTS ILLUMINATED & UNLOCK LIGHT EXTINGUISHED, LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. JACKED ACFT, CYCLED MLG & ALL LIGHTS FUNCTIONAL CK NORMAL, MLG OP CHECKS NORMAL. PULLED CONNECTORS & LOOKED FOR BENT OR BROKEN PINS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. AVIONICS RANG OUT SWITCHES, CHANGED ACTUATOR, SLOW CYCLED GEAR. REMOVED ACTUATOR. RANG OUT SWITCHES ON ACTUATOR, CHECKED GOOD, NO DEFECTS NOTED. INSTALLED MLG ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-30-04. ADJUSTED CAMBER AS REQUIRED IAW MM 32-10-00. PERFORMED FULL SYS OPS CHECKS GOOD IAW MM 32-01-00.
AFTER RUNNING APU FOR APPORX 5 MINUTES A WAVERING SQUEAL WAS HEARD AND SMOKE FILLED THE COCKPIT. APU WAS THEN IMMEDIATELY SHUTDOWN. NO SMOKE VISIBLE OUTSIDE. OIL FOUND DRIPPING FROM BOTTOM OF ACM. T/S AND FOUND APU HAD OIL IN INLET CAUSING SMOKE IN COCKPIT PLACED APU ON MEL AND RAN ENGINES FOR 15 MINUTES TO 30 MINUTES AFTER CLEANING SOCK AND NO ODOR OR SMOKE NOTED AND NO OIL DRIPPING FROM ACM IAW MM 12-19-08.
DURING PREFLT WITH APU RUNNING SMOKE FILLED THE CABIN. SHUTDOWN APU AND ELECTRICAL POWER. UPON INSP THE CABIN WEMACS WERE HOT. FOUND CRUSHED DUCT PN 6619016-68. REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH SERVICABLE. REPLACED ACM TURBINE. ALL OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. IAW MM 21-22-00.
UPON APPLICATION OF TAKEOFF THRUST THERE IS A OSCILLATING PRESSURE SURGE THAT CAN BE FELT STRONGLY AND HEARD. REMOVED P/N 9912492-1(1988-00-3) S/N 2317. INSTALLED OVERHAULED UNIT BY DUKES INC. CRS WUERE79L. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. WORK DONE IAW MM 21-11-00.
DURING APPROACH INTO ASE RT LANDING GEAR WAS SLOW TO EXTEND BUT DID LOCK NORMALLY , DURING DEPARTURE RT GEAR WOULD NOT INDICATE RETRACTED. GREEN RT STAYED ILLUMINATED. EXTENDED THE GEAR NORMALLY AND LANDED. (M2B) INSTALLED AND ADJUSTED NEW RT MAIN ACTUATOR DOWNLOCK SWITCH ON REPAIRED RT MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR IAW COMPONENT MM CH 32-32-14. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM CH 32-00-50.
ON APPROACH TO LANDING, NO GREEN NOSE GEAR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. FOLLOWED CHECKLIST, BLEW DOWN GEAR AND PERFORMED FLY-BY OF TOWER. VERIFIED GEAR DOWN. LANDED SAFELY AND WAS TOWED INTO FBO. RESEATED EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION VALVE AND SAFETIED WITH BREAKAWAY WIRE. SERVICED GEAR BELOW DOWN BOTTLE TO 1900 PSI. REPLACED 2 BURNED OUT BULBS IN NLG DOWNLOCK INDICATOR WITH NEW BULBS. COMPLIED WITH RETRACTION CHECK, HYD SYSTEM BLEED AND RESERVIOR SERVICE BLEED AND SERVICE RESERVOIR TO FULL. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 12-12-01, 32-01-00 AND 32-30-00. NLG INDICATION OK.
