AT FLIGHT LEVEL 400, THE NOSE GEAR CAME OFF THE UPLOCK HOOK 6-7 TIMES. PERFORMED MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST AND FOUND NOSE GEAR OLEO OVER EXTENDED. DISASSEMBLED NOSE GEAR OLEO, RE-SEALED, REASSEMBLED AND SERVICED. PERFORMED GEAR RETRACTION TEST. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED.
CORROSION DAMAGE ON LEFT WING, AFT LOWER SPAR CAP, FORWARD FLANGE (BETWEEN WS 20.0 AND WS 41.00) IN WHEEL WELL OPENING.
TWO MINUTES AFTER TAKE OFF, RECEIVED AN EICAS AMBER DUCT O'TEMP CABIN LIGHT. REFERRED TO THE QRH EMERGENCY/ ABNORMALS CHECKLIST. AFTER COMPLETING THE CHECKLIST THE DUCT OVERTEMP CABIN LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND THE CREW WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL THE CABIN HEAT. THE CABIN WAS EXTREMELY HOT AND A BURNING ODOR WENT THROUGH OUT THE AIRPLANE. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND INITIATED A RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AIRPORT. THE CREW LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT AND CONTACTED FLIGHT CONTROL & MAINTENANCE CONTROL. THE TEMP CONTROL VALVE WAS FOUND TO BE HARD FAILED AND HAS BEEN REPLACED.
ABORTED TAKEOFF AT 80KTS, WHEN THE CREW WAS UNABLE TO MOVE THE RUDDER. CAPTAIN REPORTED THE RUDDER COMPLETELY LOCKED AND DID NOT RETURN NORMAL FUNCTION UNTIL THEY WERE PARKED. MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THE RUDDER TO LOCK. CONTROL CABLE RUNS AND PULLEYS ALL CHECK GOOD. RUDDER BIAS OPS CHECKED GOOD. AUTOPILOT COMPUTER OPS CHECKED GOOD. RUDDER SERVO INSPECTED, AND OPS CHECKED GOOD. YAW DAMPER OPS CHECKED GOOD.
