MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT MOVE AFTER CLOSING DOOR. WE ARRIVED TO THIS AIRCRAFT AFTER OT WAS IN MAINTENANCE. WHEN CLOSING THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE, THE HANDLE WOULD NOT MOVE. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION OF THE DOOR PINS, WE NOTICED A LOWER AFT PIN IS MISALIGNED THE PIN IS INHIBITED FROM MOVING. SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REALIGNED MCD PIN. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW AMM 52-10-04
MAIN DOOR: WHEN ATTEMPTING TO CLOSE THE MAIN CABIN DOOR, THE LOCKING HANDLE WILL NOT ENGAGE. IT CAN'T BE MOVED. CORRECTIVE ACTION: ADJUSTED LOCKING PIN PUSHRODS. REINSTALLED MED STEPS. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW CE680A AMM 52-10-05.
AFTER LANDING WENT TO TAXI OFF RUNWAY & TILLER WOULD NOT TURN LT AT ALL, TILLER HAD MINIMAL CONTROL AUTHORITY TO THE RIGHT. INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE AND NONE FOUND. ACCESSED NWS CONTROL VALVE AND NO DAMAGES NOTED. ACTUATED NWS & FOUND WHEN THE TILLER IS MOVED, EITHER RT OF LT. NWS WILL GO FULL DEFLECTION RT. UNABLE TO MOVE USING TILLER ASSEMBLY. WORK DONE IAW AMM 32-50-05. REMOVED NLG POWER STEERING CONTROL UNIT. INSTALLED OVERHAULED NLG POWER STEERING CONTROL UNIT. BLED HYD SYS AS REQUIRED. ACCOMPLISHED THE NWS RIGGING. MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT MOVE TO THE CLOSED POSITION. DOOR IS OPEN. VERIFIED DISCREPANCY. CLEANED AND LUBES MED LOCK PINS. PERFORMED SUCCESSFUL OPS CHECK AT HIS TIME. REF CE-680A MM 52-10-00.
CAPTAIN COCKPIT WINDOW: THE VERY LEFT COCKPIT WINDOW CAUGHT ON FIRE AT THE TOP EDGE. AN ELECTRICAL FIRE OCCURRED SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF WHICH MELTED THE INSULATION ON THE TOP OF THE WINDOW AND CREATED A FLAME. WINDOW CRACKED ALL AROUND THE TOP FRONT AND BACK EDGE AND CHUNKS OF THE WINDOW CAME OFF INSIDE THE COCKPIT AND IT APPEARS ON THE OUTSIDE. FLAME CONTINUED UNTIL LANDING BUT THEN STOPPED. TO US IT APPEARS THAT THE WINDOW GOT SO HOT THAT THE WINDOW PANE ITSELF STARTED FAILING. AFTER TAKEOFF WE DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED OVERWEIGHT. REMOVED LH SIDE WINDOSHIELD DUE TO CATCHING FIRE. INSTALLED NEW WINDSHIELD IAW MM 56-10-05 AND REMOVED LH WINDSHIELD TEMP COMTROLLER.
LEFT MLG LANDING GEAR RETRACTION: UPON RAISING GEAR HANDLE, MAIN LANDING GEAR WERE SHUTTERING LOUD MULTIPLE TIMES WITH UNSAFE GEAR INDICATION. CONTACTED MCC AND RECOMMENDED REPLACING DAMAGED WIRING HARNESS AND PCB NC105 DUE TO SHORTED WIRE DIRECTLY POWERED BY PCB. RESEARCHED REQUIRED PARTS FOR REPAIR AND SUBMITTED TO MCC FOR PROCUREMENT. REMOVED DAMAGED PASSENGER DOOR WIRING HARNESS P/N 8469153-1 AND INSTALLED NEW HARNESS P/N 8469153-1, REF CE680A MM CH 52 10-00. GAINED ACCESS TO AND REMOVED SHORTED PCB NC105 P/N 7468101-17 S/N 0299 AND INSTALLED NEW PCB P/N 7468101-17 S/N 0408, IAW CE680A MM CH 24-60-40. RE-INSTALLED PASSENGER DOOR STEPS, IAW CE680A MM CH 52-10-50. CLOSED ALL ACCESS AS REQUIRED PERFORMED CABIN DOOR LIFT MOTOR AND WARNING SYSTEM TEST (POWER OFF, BATTERIES CONNECTED), IAW CE680A MM CH 52-70-00 WITH NO DEFECTS. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR LATCHING/LOCKING SYSTEM AND DOOR WARNING SYSTEM TEST (POWER OFF, BATTERIES CONNECTED), IAW CE680A MM CH 52-70-00 WITH NO DEFECTS. VERIFIED WITH DOOR CLOSED AND LATCHED THE CABIN DOOR OPEN AND CHECK DOORS, AMBER CAS NO LONGER ACTIVE. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR OPERATIONAL CHECKS, IAW CE680A MM CH.52-10-00. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD.

PERFORMED BRAKE BLEEDING OF LT BRAKE SYS DUE TO SUSPECT AIR IAW MM 32-40-00. LEAK CHECKED GOOD. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK OF ACFT BRAKES WITH ANTI-SKID ON & OFF AT VARIABLE SPEEDS. TAXI CHECKED GOOD.
WHILE TAXIING IN, AFTER LANDING THE, LO BRAKE PRESSURE & ANTI-SKID INOPERATIVE, ANNUNCIATION ILLUMINATED WITH THE MASTER CAUTION LIGHT. LOST ALL NORMAL BRAKING & STOPPED THE PLANE USING THE EMERGENCY BRAKING SYS. NO CIRCUIT BREAKERS HAD TRIPPED. TROUBLESHOT TO A DEFECTIVE ANTI-SKID LOW PRESSURE SWITCH. R & R WITH A OVERHAULED LOW PRESSURE SWITCH. PERFORMED BRAKE BLEEDING, OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 32-42-06.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION FOUND SLIGHT DISCOLORATION ON COWLING ASSEMBLY. INSPECTED & FOUND THE TWO FLEX JOINTS ON THE ENG INLET ANTI-ICE TUBE ASSEMBLY WERE LEAKING. THE FLEX JOINTS ARE NOT REPAIRABLE, SO THE ENTIRE TUBE ASSEMBLY WILL BE REPLACED. SERVICE CONDITION REPORT 3707948 HAS BEEN SENT.
THERE IS NO AIRSPEED INDICATION ON STANDBY INDICATOR, DURING TAKEOFF AT 60 KNOTS INDICATED ON LT AND RT PFD'S. TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED PRIOR TO 70 KNOTS IAS. REMOVED DAMAGED PITOT TUBE (STBY). INSTALLED A NEW PITOT TUBE AND PURGED STANDBY PITOT SYSTEM. LEAK CHECK OF STANDBY PITOT SYSTEM PERFORMED WITH NO DISCREPANCIES. ALL WORK IAW MM 34-11-01, 34-90-10.
RT FWD WINDSHIELD CRACKED. R & R RT HEATED WINDSHIELD IAW MM 56-11-00. PERFORMED WIRING CHECKS. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
AFTER TAKEOFF FLAPS WOULD NOT RETRACT OUT OF 15 DEGREES. ADJUSTED FLAP UP SWITCH IN PEDESTAL SC012. CYCLED SEVERAL TIMES AND CHECKED FLAP DEFLECTION ANGLES. FOUND ALL OPS CHECKED NORMAL.
DURING FIRST ENGINE START WITH PARKING BRAKE SET "LOW BREAK PRESSURE/ANTISKD INOP" CAUTION ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED WITH CORRESPONDING MASTER CAUTION ANNOUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. DURING POST-FLIGHT, ELECTRICAL ODOR NOTICED IN THE LT FORWARD COMPARTMENT AROUND THE BRAKE SYSTEM. COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. REMOVED ELECTRICAL BRAKE MOTOR AND RELAY. INSTALLED O/H ELECTRICAL BRAKE MOTOR WITH NEW SPLICES. INSTALLED NEW REPLAY AND ELECTRICAL WIRES. TAXI ACFT TO OPS CHECK BRAKE SYS. SYS CHECKED GOOD AT THIS TIME IAW CH 32-44-00 OF THE MM.
BRAKES APPEAR TO LEAK FLUID. RES FULL AT UPPER SIGHT GAUGE. NO AIR BUBBLE VISIBLE. 15 MINS AFTER DEPLANING UPPER SIGHT GAUGE ONLY 1/3 FULL. BRAKE PUMP CYCLES EVERY 26 SECS. BRAKE PRESS GOES TO 1400 PSI & BLED DOWN TO 1200 PSI IN 26 SECONDS, PUMP ACTIVATES. BRAKES OPS NORMAL. 1ST TIME SETTING PARK BRAKE WITH 3 PUSHES ON PEDALS PRIOR TO PULLING PARK BRAKE HANDLE, BRAKE LOW PRESS LIGHT ILLUMINATED FOR 6 SECS & PUMP ACTUATED UNTIL LIGHT WENT OUT. INSPECTED BRAKES, NO LEAKS FOUND. FOUND ANTI-SKID VALVE LEAKING INTERNALLY, REPLACED VALVE WITH O/H UNIT. BLED BRAKE SYS & TAXI CHECKED GOOD. ALL OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD. VERIFIED PUMP CYCLES WITHIN LIMITS 10.5-20 SEC OFF IAW CES-FT-ZL-0012 IAW MM 32-42-05.
MAIN CABIN DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. TRIED BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE HANDLES. BOTH HANDLES BIND AND REQUIRE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FORCE TO TAKE TO FULL TRAVEL. MULTIPLE PINS REMAIN ENGAGED IN THEIR FUSELAGE HOLES. BOTH LOWER PINS AND UPPER LT PINS REMAIN ENGAGED. TOP PINS AND UPPER RT PINS ARE RETRACTED. TROUBLE SHOT DOOR, FOUND LOWER AFT PIN MECH SEIZED. GAINED ACCESS AND REMOVED PIN LEVER ASSY REPLACED LEVER ASSY WITH ALL NEW PARTS AND HARDWARE. CLEANED ALL DEBRIS FROM DOOR CHANNELS. REINSTALLED ALL ACCESS REMOVED. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW MM 52-10-01. BELLCRANK ASSY - AFT BRACKET, PN 6611302-4.
IN CRUISE, PITCH TRIM WHEEL (AUTOPILOT ENGAGED) WAS FELT JERKING BUT NOT MOVING. AUTOPILOT DISCONNECTED TO FIND EXCESSIVE NOSE DOWN FORCE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN LEVEL FLT. NOSE DOWN ELECTRIC TRIM DID NOT MOVE TRIM WHEEL. ONLY TWICE NORMAL HAND PRESSURE ON WHEEL CAUSED IT TO FREE & APPEAR TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. SITUATION REPEATED & TRIM BECAME JAMMED, 10 MINS LATER, & HAND FORCE FREED TRIM WHEEL. POST FLT CHECKS ON TRIM NORMAL WITH FULL TRAVEL AVAILABLE BOTH ELECTRICALLY & MECHANICALLY. T/S SYSTEM. FOUND RT ELEV TRIM ACTUATOR BINDING & WOULD NOT TAKE GREASE WHEN ATTEMPTED TO LUBE- REMOVED & REPLACED RT TRIM ACT WITH NEW UNIT, PERFORMED RIGGING & OPS & CABLE TENSION CHECKS. SYSTEM OPS GOOD AT THIS TIME.
STAB MISCOMPARE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED AFTER TAKEOFF AFTER FLAPS WERE RETRACTED TO THE 0 DEGREES POSITION. COMPLETED CHECKLISTS FOR THAT CONDITION. STAB MISCOMPARE ANNUNCIATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT AND ON THE GROUND. RESEARCHED WIRING DIAGRAMS. HOOKED UP PITOT/STATIC TESTER. CHECKED OPS OF AIRSPEED SWITCH. NOTED AIRSPEED SWITCH OPENED AT 230 KNOTS, AND CLOSED AT 225 KNOTS. AIRSPEED SWITCH CHECKS GOOD. OPERATED SYS IAW MM 27-40-00. SYS FAILS IN UPPER LIMIT POSITION. ACCESSED POSITION SWITCHES AND CHECKED. SWITCHES CHECK GOOD AND FAIL MESSAGE GONE. OPS OF STABILIZER SHOWS FAIL IN UP LIMIT POSITION. TAPPED ON LT SWITCH PACKAGE AND FAIL MESSAGE CLEARED. CONTINUITY CHECK OF LT LIMIT SWITCHES CHECKS GOOD. SWITCH NEEDS ADJUSTMENT OR REPLACEMENT FOUND THE TWO-POSITION HORIZONTAL STAB SWITCHES. TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. PERFORMED ADJUSTMENT TO THE UP AND THE DOWN LIMIT SWITCHES. PERFORMED OPS CHECK. OPS CHECK GOOD. ALL MX DONE IAW MM 27-40-00. CLOSED ALL ACCESS PANELS.

ON TAKEOFF ROLL COPILOT ATT FAIL AND HDG FAIL PFD ENUNCIATORS ILLUMINATED WITH CHECK PFD 2 ENUNCIATOR COULD NOT RESET. REMOVED FAULTY AHRS UNIT NR 2 S/N 1110 AND INSTALLED UNIT S/N 2020 REPAIRED BY FAA REPAIR STATION NR M31R0300 SYSTEM OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD IAW MM 34-21-01.
FOUND THE STATIC SYSTEM DRAIN VALVE POPPET RETAING RING COMING LOOSE FROM VALVE BASE.
AT APPROX 30 KNOTS DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL THE RIGHT FUEL FILTER BYPASS CAUTION LIGHT CAME ON. AFTER THE POWER WAS REDUCED TO IDLE THE LIGHT WENT OUT. REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NEW FILTER, FILTER HOUSING AND SEALS ON RIGHT ENGINE. GROUND RAN ENGINE AND OPERATION ALL CHECK GOOD AT ALL POWER SETTINGS. NO FUEL LEAKS NOTED AND BY-PASS DID NOT ILLUMINATED AT ANYTIME. HOUSING P/N 31J2245-01. REF TO PW 545 MM CHAP 73-10-05.
PILOT'S AND COPILOT'S -L- PEDALS HAVE EXCESSIVE TRAVEL FORWARD BEFORE BRAKE ACTUATES. -L- PEDALS ARE ALSO SPONGY CAUSING ACFT TO PULL HARD RIGHT WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
AFTER TAKEOFF MOVED GEAR HANDLE UP AND NOTICED THE UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ON. RECYCLED GEARS TWICE AND PROBLEM REMAINED THE SAME WITH HYDRAULIC PRESS LIGHT STAYING ON. ACCOMPLISHED AIR TURNBACK AND LANDED SAFELY. PLACED AIRCRAFT ON JACKS AND CYCLED LANDING GEAR SEVERAL CYCLES, COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. INSPECTED UPLOCK SWITCHES RIGGING AND NO FAULT FOUND, OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. REMOVED AIRCRAFT FROM JACKS, ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CESSNA 560XL CHAPTER 32-30-00 AND 32-61-00.
AFTER TAKEOFF AND GEAR HANDLE SELECTED TO THE UP POSITION THE UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ON, TRIED TO RECYCLE GEAR HANDLE BUT PROBLEM REMAINED THE SAME. REMOVED AND REPLACED L/G PC BOARD AND NOSE GEAR UP-LOCK SWITCH. PERFORMED UP-LOCK CHECK, SEQUENCE ACTUATOR RIGGING ADJUSTMENT AND NOSE LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR TEST. ALL WORK DONE IAW CESSNA CITATION MODEL 560XL MM CHAPTER 32-30-03 & 32-30-05.
LANDING GEAR UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ON AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. RECYCLED GEAR ONCE WITH THE SAME RESULT. JACK UP AIRCRAFT INSPECTED UPLOCK ACTUATORS, SWITCHES AND CONNECTOR, ALSO INSPECTED NOSE GEAR STRUT FOR PROPER INFLATION. PERFORMED GEAR RETRACTION IAW CESSNA 560XL MM CHAPTER 32-30-00 SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO DEFECTS, OPERATIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY.
LEFT BRAKE PEDAL FLUCTUATES IN TRAVEL REQUIRED TO GET THE BRAKE TO APPLY. VERIFIED SQUAWK, ACCOMPLISHED BRAKE BLEEDING PER CESSNA 560XL MM CHAPTER 32-42-00. ACCOMPLISHED TAXI CHECKS FOUND BRAKE PEDAL ACTION EVEN, OPS CHECKED GOOD, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
