NR 2 FUEL PRESSURE READING FLUCTUATES AT SHUT DOWN. FOR TROUBLESHOOTING. INSTALLED 5 SEPERATE FUEL PRESSURE INDICATORS. THE FIRST INDICATOR INSTALLED P/N: SRD-3F S/N:30 SHOWED NO INDICATION OF WORKING. THE NEEDLES DID NOT MOVE. THE NEXT 4 INDICATORS ALL READ APPROXIMATLY 180 DEGREES OUT. THE ISSUE ENDED UP BEING A FAULTY FUEL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER. CONFIRMED ISSUE WAS WITH A PIECE OF TEST EQUIPMENT WHICH HAS BEEN REMOVED. CURRENT AND FUTURE TESTING DONE WITH ANOTHER TEST PANEL WHICH HAS GONE THROUGH EXTENSIVE TESTING TO ENSURE UNITS MEET MFR. SPECS.
DURING AN INSPECTION, MECHANIC REMOVED AFT TRANSMISSION LUBE FILTER AND NOTICED LARGE METALLIC CHIPS IN THE FILTER HOUSING AND ON THE FILTER PACKS. DISASSEMBLED FILTER AND FOUND MORE CHIPS. REMOVED BLOWER DRIVE SHAFT AND INPUT COVER ON THE TRANSMISSION TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE CHIPS CAME FROM THE BLOWER INPUT SEAL ON THE TRANSMISSION. IT WAS DETERMINED THE RING INSIDE THE SEAL THAT'S CONNECTED TO METAL TABS TO KEEP THE SEAL TIGHT AROUND THE BLOWER INPUT WAS DAMAGED. REPLACED AFT TRANSMISSION.
DURING DIS-ASSEMBLY OF A 107 AFT & MIX BOX TRANSMISSION, METAL TABS WERE FOUND IN THE AFT TRANSMISSION FILTER. FURTHER DIS-ASSEMBLY & INSPECTION REVEALED THE METAL TABS CAME FROM THE BLOWER DRIVEN ASSEMBLY OIL SEAL. THE SEAL TABS WERE ALL BROKEN UP INDIVIDUALLY & WERE FOUND IN THE BLOWER DRIVEN HOUSING IN ADDITION TO AFT TRANSMISSION FILTER. NO OTHER TABS WERE FOUND IN ANY OF THE OTHER ASSEMBLIES OR HOUSINGS.

DURING FLIGHT, NOTICED ELECTRICAL BURNED ODOR COMING FROM HEATER DUCT JUST PRIOR TO BLOWER CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPING, PLACED HEATER MASTER SWITCH INTO OFF POSITION, ACFT RETURNED TO BASE AND TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM. A VISUAL INSPECTION OF SYS AND WIRING DID NOT SHOW ANY DISCREPANT ISSUES OTHER THAN THE BLOWER WHICH NOTED THE FAN NOT SPINNING FREELY. REPLACED BLOWER.
