NO DOOR ANNUNCIATORS OR PRESSURIZATION ISSUES. NOISE APPEARED TO DECREASE IN DECENT BELOW FL 200. ON POST FLT, A TINY SLIT CAN BE SEEN ON FWD SEAL. REMOVED DAMAGED FORWARD LOWER SEAL & INSTALLED NEW SEAL IAW MM 52-10-04. REMOVED DAMAGED UPPER SEAL & INSTALLED NEW SEAL IAW MM 52-10-04. REMOVED DAMAGED LOWER AFT SEAL & INSTALLED NEW SEAL . PERFORMED CABIN PRESSURIZATION WITH APU IAW MM 21-30-00. NOTED NO NOISES OR LEAKS COMING FROM MAIN DOOR. PERFORMED LEAK CHK OF SERVICE AIR LINES TO TEE FITTINGS WITH NO LEAKS NOTED.
WHEN CROSS FEEDING FROM RIGHT TANK TO LEFT ENGINE THE LOW FUEL PRESSURE LIGHT FLASHED ON AND THE LEFT BOOST PUMP CAME ON AND STAYED ON. UNABLE TO CROSS FEED FROM RIGHT TO LEFT. LEFT TO RIGHT CROSSFEED WORKS NORMALLY. CORRECTIVE ACTION: OPERATED BOTH ENGINES AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS ON THE LEFT-HAND AND RIGHT-HAND CROSSFEED AND MOTIVE FLOW VALVES MULTIPLE TIMES, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. THE LH AND RH PRESSURE LIGHTS WERE EXTINGUISHED. I INSPECTED THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS OF THE LH AND RH ENGINE FUEL PRESSURE SWITCHES, AND AGAIN FOUND NO DEFECTS. I FOLLOWED THE TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE FOR THE LOW FUEL PRESSURE BOOST PUMPS ON BOTH THE LH AND RH ENGINES AND DISCOVERED NO PRESSURE WAS BEING SENT TO THE RH FUEL PRESSURE SWITCH, WHILE THERE WAS 12 PSI ON THE LH ENGINE FUEL PRESSURE SWITCH. I SWAPPED THE LH AND RH ENGINE FUEL PRESSURE SWITCHES, BUT THE FAULT DID NOT FOLLOW; HENCE, I RETURNED THE SWITCHES TO THEIR ORIGINAL CONFIGURATIONS. NEXT, I SWAPPED THE LH AND RH FUEL PCB BUT AGAIN FOUND NO FIX AND RETURNED THE PCB TO ITS ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION. I REMOVED THE RH BOOST PUMP FAIRING TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE BOOST PUMP. THE WIRING CHECKS ARE ALL GOOD THE PUMP HAS A SOLID GROUND, AND IT IS RECEIVING POWER, BUT THE PUMP IS NOT OPERATIONAL. ACCESSED AND REPLACED RH BOOST PUMP CARTRDGE. ALL WORK WAS CONDUCTED IN REFERENCE TO CE-560XL AMM 28-20-00, 24-50-03, 28-21-01, 24-50-03, AND 73-20-02. NO DEFECTS NOTED
MAIN ENTRY DOOR WILL NOT OPEN, PANEL BELOW DOOR APPEARS TO BE DAMAGED. TECHS FOUND THE DOOR IN THE UNLOCK POSITION WITH THE PRECATCH HOLDING THE DOOR CLOSED. TECHS LOCKED THE DOOR AND THE LOWER PANEL CLOSED FLUSH TO THE AIRFRAME. TECHS INSPECTED ALL DOOR HINGES AND NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. TECHS PERFORMED SEVERAL OPS CHECKS OF THE MAIN CABIN DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING. ALL OPS CHECKS GOOD. WORK PERFORMED PER CE-560XLS AMM 52-10-00
MAIN CABIN DOOR IS DIFFICULT TO CLOSE. WHEN LOCKING THE DOOR CLOSED, RESISTANCE IS FELT IN THE HANDLE. TO LOCK THE DOOR IT TAKES MORE FORCE THAN NORMAL. THIS HAPPENS FROM BOTH OUTSIDE AND INSIDE. ALSO, A LOUD BINDING SOUND CAN BE HEARD FROM THE SIDE PINS AS THEY ENTER INTO THE LOCK POSITION. PRE CATCH WORKS NORMALLY. REMOVED MCD OUTER HANDLE. AFTER FURTHER EVALUATION FOUND PIN, OUTER SPINDLE AND HANDLE ATTACH POINT RUSTED. WORK DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MM 52-10-00. ORDERED PARTS FOR SUPPORT. CLEANED BROWN POWDER FROM HANDLE ATTACH POINT AND SPINDLE ATTACH POINTS, NO CORROSION FOUND, IAW CSPM 20-50-00. REINSTALLED DOOR HANDLE WITH NEW HARDWARE (P/N'S SL5105K2, SL5204-2, AND MS20392-2C37) IAW MM 52-10-01. ACCOMPLISHED DOOR PIN LUBRICATION IAW MM 52-10-01. CABIN DOOR CLOSING AND OPENING OPS CHECKS GOOD, WITH NO UNUSUAL SOUND OR RESISTANCE NOTED.
CLIMBING THROUGH FL270 A LOUD SQUEAL WAS NOTICED COMING FROM THE MAIN CABIN DOOR. AT FL 280 CABIN ALTITUDE WAS 2000FT AND 8.4 DIFFERENTIAL. DESCENDING THROUGH 11000 FT CABIN DIFFERENTIAL WAS 4.1. UNKNOWN WHICH SEAL WAS MAKNG THE LOUD NOISE. NO ABNORMAL PRESSURIZATION ISSUES THROUGHOUT FLIGHT. PERFORMED GVI OF MAIN CABIN DOOR SEAL AND ACOUSTIC SEAL WITH IT DEFLATED AND INFLATED NO FAULTS FOUND. CLEANED BOTH PRESSURIZATION SEAL AND ACOUSTIC SEAL PERFORMED SEVERAL OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF SEAL AND PRESSURIZED AIRPLANE 4 TIMES AND NO SQUEAL WAS HEARD. TECH COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY ON THE GROUND AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK DONE IAW AMM 21-30-00, 52-10-04.
MIDDLE OVER WING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT INOP
DURING APPROACH THE MFD WENT BLANK AND IMMEDIATELY HAD AN ELECTRICAL SMELL THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE AIRCRAFT. AFTER 30 SECONDS IT CAME BACK ON AND WORKED NORMALLY FOR THE REST OF FLIGHT. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE MFD DISPLAY UNIT IAW CE-560XL AMM 34--26--00 .OPERATIONAL TESTS GOOD. VERIFIED NO SMELL OR SMOKE WAS NOTED TO BE COMING FROM THE AIRCRAFT. NO FURTHER DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME . ⢠UNIT INSTALLED REMOVED FROM NC N609QS S/N 560-5522 SERVICEABLE FOR USE ON NC N669QS S/N 560-5689.
CABIN OXYGEN MASK STORAGE COMPARTMENT: OXYGEN MASK AT SEAT 10 DID NOT OPEN AT ALL WHEN DEPLOYED. CABIN OXYGEN MASK STORAGE COMPARTMENT: OXYGEN MASKS COMPARTMENT IN BETWEEN SEATS 7 AND 8 DID NOT FULLY DROP AFTER DEPLOYING THEM. THE COMPARTMENT IN QUESTION AS SHOWN IN THE CREW PICTURES AS WELL AS SEEN ON THE AIRCRAFT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE 02 MASK FOR SEAT 1B1. VERIFIED BY REMOVING PANEL AND CHECKING FOR O2 MAST ALL WORK PERFORMED IN REF TO CE560XL AMM 35-20-02

CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT. PRIOR TO ENGINE START, ALL 9 FLAGS WERE VISIBLE, ALL 6 PACK LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED, & CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR EXTINGUISHED. AFTER TAKEOFF, CABIN DOOR ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED CLIMBING THRU APPROX 2,000 FT. AFT LOWER 6 PACK LIGHT NOT ILLUM WITH DOOR OPEN. CLOSING MCD EXTINGUISHES ALL OTHER LIGHTS, BUT CABIN DOOR MASTER CAUTION STAYS ON. ACCESSED LOWER AFT MCD SWITCH & FOUND PLUNGER ON SWITCH STUCK. SOLDERED WIRES TO NEW SWITCH IAW STANDARD PRACTICES MANUAL 20-30-30 INSTALLED NEW LOWER AFT MCD SWITCH & AFT INTERIOR DOOR TRIM PIECES. MCD ANNUNCIATOR, 6 PACKS LIGHTS, EMERGENCY LIGHTS INCLUDING NEW SWITCH FUNCTIONS NORMALLY. REF SPM 20-30-30 & MM 25-20-05 FOR MX PERFORMED.

VERIFIED LAMP IS INOP, REMOVED EL PANAL REFERENCE CE·S60XLAMM 33-10-01 REMOVED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING LAMP P/N; 6838 AND FOUND ONE OF THE LEGS GONE, TRIED TO INST AU. A NEW 6838 LAMP AND THE WIRES WOULD NOT INSERT INTO THE BASE, REMOVED THE EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH LAMP AA.SE P/N: MS90308-4 ANO INSTAUED A NEW LAMB BASE P/N: MS90308-4 WITH A NEW 6838 W1P, REFERENCE CE·560XL SPM CHAPTER 20, INSTALLED PREVIOUSLY REMOVED EL OVERLAY, REFERENCE CE·560XL AMM 33-10--01. SYSTEM OPERATIONAL TEST GOOD.

MAIN DOOR HANDLE: MAIN DOOR HANDLE IS VERY STIFF. IT IS HARD TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE MAIN CABIN DOOR ON THE GROUND. "CORRECTIVE ACTION"CLEANED AND LUBED ALL DOOR PINS AND CYCLED DOOR HANDLE OPS CHECKS GOOD.
WHEN OPENING THE MAIN CABIN DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE, THE DOOR HANDLE OPERATES NORMALLY, BUT THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN WITHOUT DEPRESSING THE PRECATCH ADJACENT TO THE DOOR. DOOR OPERATED NORMALLY EVERYTIME EXCEPT ONCE FROM THE INSIDE. TRIED PUSHING ON THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE AFTER OPERATING THE DOOR HANDLE TO THE OPEN POSISTION TO SEE IF IT WOULD LOOSEN THE DOOR, WITH NO LUCK. AIRPLANE WAS IN THE HANGAR OVERNIGHT SO COLD TEMPS WERE NOT AN ISSUE. THIS IS A MULTIPLE REPEAT WRITE UP FROM 12/18 AND 12/21/20. COMPLIED WITH TASK T2PL6D007YSJ5. REMOVED THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR PRECATCH ASSEMBLY. INSTALLED ONE EACH NEW PRECATCH ASSEMBLY P/N 6211334-11. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS. ALL CHECKS WERE GOOD. ALL WORK COMPLIED IAW THE MAINTENANCE MANUAL 52-10-01.
MAIN CABIN DOOR WILL NOT OPEN NORMALLY, MUST USE PRECATCH FROM OUTSIDE THE DOOR TO OPEN IT. REPEAT WRITE UP FROM 12/18/20, VERIFIED DISCREPANCY. INSPECTED MAIN CABIN DOOR PRECATCH AND FOUND TO BE STICKING ON THE PRECATCH. PRECATCH WAS FOUND TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. REMOVED INTERIOR DOOR TRIM, INSPECTED PRECATCH LINKAGE FOUND PRECATCH OPERATIONAL WITH NO BINDING, FOUND GAP BETWEEN THE PRECATCH AND BEARING PLATE TO BE OUT OF TOLERANCE. ADJUSTED PRECATCH CABLE ASSEMBLY TO BRING TOLERANCE WITHIN LIMITS. OPERATED MAIN DOOR AND PRECATCH MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO DEFECTS. CLOSED UP ALL ACCESS ITEMS. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD, IAW CE-560XLS MM 52-10-00.
CABIN DOOR IS DIFFICULT TO OPEN/CLOSE FROM THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE HANDLES. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED THE STAIRS AND CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE LATCHING PINS. INSTALLED THE STAIRS AND OPERATIONS CHECKED THE DOOR. THE DOOR HANDLE OPERATED SMOOTHER THAN BEFORE. CHECKED THE FITTING OF THE ECCENTRIC AND NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. SINCE THE PINS WERE CATCHING ON THE LATCH PLATES WE REMOVED ONE LATCHING PLATE AT A TIME AND FOUND THE FORWARD UPPER LATCH TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. ADJUSTED THE UPPER FORWARD LATCH AND OPERATIONS CHECKED THE DOOR. ALL CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME. WORK DONE IN REF TO CE-560XL AMM 52-10-00.
MAIN CABIN DOOR IS HANGING ON THE PRE CATCH.  NOTICEABLE AFTER DOOR IS CLOSED THEN LOCKED.  UPON TRYING TO OPEN IT WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL PRECATCH IS RELEASED.   IF OUTSIDE, CANNOT OPEN THE DOOR AT ALL UNTI PRECATCH IS RELEASED.  IF TRYING TO OPEN FROM THE INSIDE DOOR WILL OPEN AFTER MUCH DIFFICULTY. INSPECTED MED, FOUND PRECATCH EXTENDED OUT TO FAR WHEN THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED. GAINED ACCESS TO THE PRECATCH ASSY. ADJUSTED PRECATCH ASSY. OPS CHECKED DOOR FROM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. RESTORED ALL ACCESS. COMPLIED WITH A FINAL OPS CHECK WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED IAW AMM 52-10-01
LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT, GEAR HANDLE UP, 3 GREEN, NO RED. NO CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIP. CYCLED LANDING GEAR 15 TIMES WITH NO FAILURE NOTED. ALL EXTENSION, RETRACTION, AND GEAR INDICATORS OPS CHECKED GOOD. REMOVED LANDING GEAR CONTROL HANDLE AND INSPECTED THE SWITCH. CLEANED WITH COMPRESSED AIR AND CONTACT CLEANER, REINSTALLED AND CYCLED GEAR AN ADDITIONAL 15 TIMES WITH NO FAULTS NOTED. ALL WORK IAW MM 32-30-01, 32-01-00, AND 20-21-03.
DURING INSPECTION AND PAINT STRIP, LEVEL 2 CORROSION FOUND LT UPPER WING (ZONE 533, 534) RT UPPER WING (ZONE 642, 643, 624, 623, 613 AND 33). REPAIRED IAW REPAIR DEFINITION AND 8100-9.
LT AND RT STRAKES WERE CORRODED, BEYOND LIMITS OF SRM. REPLACED BOTH STRAKES.
FUEL FUMES DETECTED IN FLIGHT. MOST PRONOUNCED FROM LT SUPPLY COCKPIT ARM REST HOLES BY WINDOW, OVERHEAD VENTS DON'T SEEM TO HAVE FUEL ODOR. UNABLE TO DETECT FUMES IN CABIN, ONLY COCKPIT. INSPECTED BOTH ENGINES AND THE APU FOR FUEL AND OIL LEAKS. CHECKED BLEED AIR LINES FOR EVIDENCE OF FUEL OR OIL, NO FUEL OR OIL WAS DETECTED. RAN ENGINES AND THE APU A COUPLE OF CYCLES ALLOWING ENGINE AND APU TO GET HEATED UP, THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF FUEL OR OIL SMELL IN THE COCKPIT OR CABIN. WORK DONE IAW MM CHAP 71-00-00 AND 49-00-00.
AT FL300 STRONG SMELL OF KEROSENE WITH EYEBALL VENTS OPEN IN COCKPIT. CREW HAD TO DON OXYGEN MASKS. TROUBLESHOT, RAN APU & BOTH ENGS WITH BLEEDS ON INDEPENDENTLY, COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. R & R CONDENSER SOCK, INSPECTED, CLEANED & DRIED AT DUCTS. RAN APU & BOTH ENGS AT HIGH POWER WITH BLEEDS ON & TRANSFERRED FUEL FROM BOTH TANKS. NO EVIDENCE OF FUEL LEAKS OR ANY ABNORMAL ODORS FOUND. LEAK & OPERATIONAL CHECKED GOOD. WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 21-51-00 12-19-02.
AFTER DEPARTURE AT APPROX 2500' MSL RT LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING ILLUMINATED, FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY BY A ODOR OF SMOKE. RT OIL PRESSURE GAUGE INDICATION WAS ZERO. EMERGENCY RETURN WAS CONDUCTED WITH RT ENGINE AT IDLE POWER. REMOVED THE RT ENGINE DUE TO LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE. INSTALLED A REPAIRED ENGINE. PERFORMED LEAK & OPS CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 71-00-01, 71-00-02 & 71-00-03, AND EMM 71-00-00.
DURING TAXI OUT CABIN DOOR MONITOR CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED. DID NOT ATTEMPT RESET. RETURNED TO RAMP. HEAVY ELEC FIRE SMOKE FILLED COCKPIT. R & R AN INOPERATIVE CABIN DOOR PCB, IAW AMM 24-51-02. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 52-70-00-710. R & R THE VENT DOOR SOLENOID IAW MM 52-10-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
WITH HIGH POWER SETTING, BOTH PEDALS ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO MOVE FROM BOTH COPILOT AND PILOT SIDE. SUSPECT RUDDER BIAS IS PRESSURIZING BOTH SIDES SIMULTANEOUSLY. RUDDER BIAS CHECKED OK ON GROUND. REMOVED RUDDER BIAS ACTUATOR AND ACTUATOR MOUNT. INSTALLED ACTUATOR TO MOUNT, LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
FLAP HANDLE WOULD NOT MOVE FROM FLAP 15 DEGREE POSITION. FOUND KNOB INSTALLED TOO FAR DOWN ON FLAP SELECTOR HANDLE, ADJUSTED FLAP KNOB AND TIGHTEN SET SCREW IAW MM 24-53-01. OPS CHECKED SATISFACTORY.
THUMPING NOISE COMING FROM LAV IN FLIGHT. ON POST FLT FOUND FILLER CAP LOOSE. FOUND LAV FLUID SERVICING PORT CAP NOT LOCKING INTO SECURE POSITION. LUBED FILTER CAP BEARINGS AND RESECURED CAP IAW MM 38-30-02. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF, GEAR UNLOCKED LIGHT REMAINED ON, ALL GEAR GREEN LIGHTS WERE EXTINGUISHED, AND HYD PRESS ANNUNCIATOR REMAINED ON, SELECTED GEAR HANDLE DOWN, ALL GREEN LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND HYD PRESS ANNUNCIATOR EXTINGUISHED. R & R RT MLG ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-30-04.
AFTER TAKEOFF, FLAP LEVER WOULD NOT MOVE OUT OF TAKEOFF FLAP POSITION. RETURNED FOR LANDING. FOUND KNOB LOOSE UPON ARRIVAL TO ACFT. RESECURED FLAP LEVER KNOB AS REQ'D IAW 20-00-00, OPS TEST GOOD.
ON TAKEOFF, GEAR DID NOT RETRACT NORMALLY; HAD RED UNSAFE INDICATION. AFTER 6 MIN, WITH SPEED BELOW 200 KIAS, CREW HEARD A LOUD CLUNK AND RED UNSAFE INDICATOR EXTINGUISHED. GEAR EXTENSION WAS NORMAL. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. POST FLIGHT VISUAL INSP SHOWED NO APPARENT DAMAGE. CHANGED NOSE GEAR RETRACT ACTUATOR REF MM 32-30-03. ACTUATOR IS "REPAIRED" WITH 785 LANDINGS. ATTACH BOLTS, PIN, AND NUTS ARE NEW CYCLED GEAR 10 TIMES OPS GOOD NO LEAKS STRUT ANGLE 4.3 DEGREE FORWARD
AFTER SELECTING GEAR UP, THE LT MAIN GEAR INDICATION LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. REPLACED LT MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-30-04. OPS CHECK GOOD. LEAK CHECK GOOD.
AFTER SELECTING GEAR DOWN, LT MAIN GEAR DID NOT INDICATE DOWN. (2 GREEN 1 RED) FOUND LEFT GEAR DOWNLOCK SWITCH CONNECTOR CONTAMINATED. CLEANED REINSTALLED INDICATIONS NOW CK GD SWUNG GEAR IAW 32-01-00 SYSTEM CHECK GOOD RESET & SERVICED PNEUMATIC BRAKE & GEAR BOTTLE IAW 12-13-01
ON TAKEOFF, F/O HAD TO USE FULL FORWARD PRESSURE TO KEEP NOSE DOWN. FOUND ELEVATOR TRIM WHEEL MOUNTING SCREWS LOOSE CAUSING THE POINTER TO SKIP ITS TRACK. REINDEX POINTER TO TRIM WHEEL AND TAKEOFF MARKER INDEX. RESECURED TRIM WHEEL SCREWS AS ORIGINAL REF CESSNA 560XLS MM 27-32-01 CHECKED ELEVATOR TRIM TRAVELS FOUND TO BE WITHIN LIMITS PER CESSNA MM 560XLS 27-32-01. OPS CHECKED GOOD NO DEFECTS NOTED.
