I WAITED FOR SYSTEM TO FULLY BOOT. ONCE BOOTED, OPS CHECKS SATISFACTORY, COMPARED ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS WITH THE LOCATIONS GIVEN IN AMM AND CONFIRMED THERE IS NO EMERGENCY LIGHT LOCATED BELOW SEAT 9. ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS IN THE LAV AREA ARE LOCATED RIGHT SIDE OF PLANE, ON TOILET, & ALL WORK. TO CONFIRM, ACCESS TWO OTHER THAT WERE IN WORK & CONFIRMED DID NOT HAVE AN EMERGENCY LIGHT BELOW SEAT 9. MCC AGREED THAT DID NOT HAVE AN EMERGENCY LIGHT BELOW SEAT 9 ON THEIR LIST AND WERE OK TO SIGN OFF SQUAWK. WORK DONE IAW AMM 33-50-00.
DURING APPROACH TO LAND, GEAR HANDLE WAS MOVED TO DOWN POSITION. AN AMBER CAS GEAR DISAGREE L-R-N DISPLAYED AND NO MOVEMENT HEARD. ALL THREE GEAR POSITION INDICATORS WERE AMBER UP. A GO AROUND WAS INITIATED. GEAR HANDLE WAS AGAIN MOVED TO UP POSITION, AGAIN TO DOWN POSITION & THREE GREEN INDICATORS ILLUMINATED & NO CAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED. T/S MLG SYSTEM. CKECKED PCB NF206 & WIRING & PLN 58. NO DEFECTS FOUND. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE THE GEAR HANDLE MODULE. R & R GEAR HANDLE MODULE ASSY (UI020). REMOVED P/N H218B S/N 00690. INSTALLED AN OVERHAULED UNIT. EMERGENCY LIGHTING: EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD NOT TEST PROPERLY. ACCOMPLISHED THE AFM APPROVED CHARGING PROCEDURE AND STILL WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE. 2ND 30 MIN CYCLE WAS NOT ACCOMPLISHED AS PAX WERE ONSITE AND WE WERE MOVED TO AIRCRAFT NEARBY. MAIN DOOR: AFTER PARKING AND SHUTTING DOWN, CREW WAS UNABLE TO OPEN THE MAIN CABIN DOOR. AIRCRAFT WAS COMPLETELY DEPRESSURIZED BUT THE HANDLE WOULD NOT MOVE. CREWMEMBER HAD TO UTILIZE THE EMERGENCY HATCH TO EXIT THE AIRCRAFT AND OPEN THE MAIN DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE DOOR OPENED NORMALLY FROM THE OUTSIDE. AFTER TROUBLESHOOTING, FOUND WIRE SEPARATED FROM SWITCH BUTTON IN HANDLE. PERFORMED WIRE REPAIR IAW CITATION SPM 20-30-30. DOOR OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY IAW CE680A AMM 52-10-00.

PLACED AIRCRAFT INTO CONFIGURATION MODE AND VERIFIED THE CONFIG WAS GOOD. CONTACTED GARMIN AVIONICS AND VERIFIED THAT DCU #3 IS THE AFT RH DCU. PART PLACED ON ORDER AND AWATING PARTS. ALL MX CW IN REF TO CE-680A AMM 42-10-07 AND 31-40-00. CES 140 JACKED AIRCRAFT AND PREPARED AIRCRAFT FOR GEAR SWINGS. STOWED THE EMERGENCY GEAR DOWN HANDLE, GAINED ACCESS TO THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL MANIFOLD THROUGH REMOVAL OF PANEL316AR AND RETURNED THE MANIFOLD VALVE TO THE OVERRIDE POSITION AS REQUIRED. DISCONNECTED CANNON PLUG PG003 IN THE LH MLG WHEEL WELL AND RESET THE CONTROL ARM TO THE EMERGENCY BOTTLE IN THE LH NOSE PANEL. CONNECTED THE HYDRAULIC MULE AND SET THE MULE TO 6 GALLONS PER MINUTE AND 3000 PSI. POWERED ON AIRCRAFT AND RESET THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL 1 AND 2 CB AND AN AUDIBLE SNAP WAS HEAR AND FLUID RAN TO THE GEARS.CONNECTED CANNON PLUG PG003 AND CW 15 GEAR SWINGS AS REQUIRED. WAITED 20 MINUTES AND CW SPOILER AND SPEED BRAKE BLEEDS. WAITED ANOTHER 20 MIN AND CW THRUST REVERSER BLEEDS. DOWN JACKED AIRCRAFT AND PREPARED AIRCRAFT FOR ENGINE RUNS. RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION. CW ENGINE RUNS AND RAN ALL HYDRAULIC ITEMS THROUGH SEVERAL CYCLES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. CABIN SMOKE: ON LANDING ROLL AND SHORTLY AFTER APPLYING THE BRAKES, SMOKE BECAME PRESENT IN BOTH CABIN AND COCKPIT. SMOKE/FIRE/FUME QRC WAS ACCOMPLISHED. PRESS SOURCE WAS TURNED OFF AND SMOKE BEGAN TO DISSIPATE. REMOVED AND REPLACED APU REF 680A MM 49-10-00. (SEE SQUAWK 4). OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. ACCOMPLISHED VISUAL INSPECTION AND FOUND RECEPTACLES TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. ADJUSTED MAIN ENTRY DOOR RECEPTACLES AND ACCOMPLISHED OPERATIONAL TEST. FOUND NO DISCREPANCIES. MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE DIFFICULT TO CLOSE FROM BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE AIRCRAFT. SEEMS TO BE BINDING. REPEAT WRITEUP. GAINED ACCESS TO THE MAIN CABIN DOOR LOCKING MECHANISMS. OPERATED THE DOOR HANDLE AND FOUND THE FORWARD LOWER LOCKING PIN WAS RUBBING A LITTLE CAUSING THE DOOR TO BE DIFFICULT TO CLOSE. LUBRICATED ALL THE MAIN CABIN DOOR LOCKING PINS. OPERATED THE DOOR HANDLE AND IT OPERATES SMOOTHLY. CLOSED THE MAIN CABIN DOOR AND FOUND IT HARD TO CLOSE. OPENED DOOR AND ADJUSTED THE LOCKING PIN STRIKER. CLOSED DOOR AGAIN AND DOOR CLOSES SMOOTHLY. OPS-CHECKED TWO MORE TIMES AND OPS-CHECK GOOD. RETURNED AIRCRAFT BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION. WORK PERFORMED IRW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00.
WHILE SECURING MAIN CABIN DOOR CLOSED FROM INTERIOR, DOOR HANDLE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MOVE. INSPECTED MAIN CABIN DOOR FOUND DOOR MOTOR PULLING DOOR UP TO FAR PAST THE LATCH PIN HOLES. ADJUSTED DOOR STOPS AND OPS CHECK IS GOOD. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IN REF TO CE-680A AMM 52-10-00.

REPLACED RT EEC AUT/ MANUAL SWITCH IAW MM 76-10-01. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
SMOKE FILLED CABIN & COCKPIT ON APU STARTUP WITH BLEED AIR ON. REMOVED AND REPLACED AUX POWER UNIT IAW MM 49-10-00. COMPLIED WITH ECU BURN-IN AND COALESOR SOCK CHANGE IAW MM 21-51-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
THERE IS A STRONG ODOR OF JET FUEL IN AFT ACCESSORY COMPARTMENT. A DRIP IS VISIBLE AT THE BOTTOM OF APU CONTAINER. DURING CLIMB OUT WING O HEAT R CAME ON & STAYED ON FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS. WE REDUCED POWER TO APPROXIMATELY 70% N1. LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AT SHORT FINAL FOR ABOUT 3 SECONDS WITH POWER AT ABOUT 50% N1. REPLACED HEAT SHIELD & BLANKET PN 6621281-30, NSN, PN F780220, NSN. REPLACED DIFFUSER & TUBE PN 6621281-32, NSN, PN 6621281-26, NSN & ALL THREE O RINGS PN 222S469-40, NSN. PERFORMED OPERATION & LEAK CHECK OF LE & ANTI-ICE. BOTH OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD. WORK PERFORMED IAW CE-560XL MM 30-11-00, REV 35.
AFTER LANDING, CABIN INTERIOR LIGHTS WERE TURNED ON. WHEN THE AIRSTAIR DOOR WAS OPENED AND LOCKED IN THE FULL DOWN POSITION ALL THE ENTRY AND CABIN INTERIOR LIGHTS WENT OUT. TROUBLESHOT TO FAULTY GALLEY SWITCH PANEL. R & R SWITCH ASSY IAW MM. SYS OPS CHECKED GOOD.
ON DEPARTURE, DURING GEAR RETRACTION, RED GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT WOULD NOT GO OUT. HYD PRESSURE LIGHT STAYED ON AND THE STAB MISCOMPARE LIGHT CAME ON. PLANE FLEW LIKE GEAR HAD RETRACTED. ON GEAR EXTENSION ALL FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. R & R THE NOSE GEAR UPLOCK ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-30-05. SYS OPS CHECKS GOOD.
THE RIGHT TOE BRAKE PRESSURE SEEMS TO DIMINISH AS PRESSURE IS APPLIED, LEAVING AN ASYMETRICAL ALIGNMENT OF THE PEDALS THEMSELVES. BRAKES ARE GRABBING, BUT THE RT SIDE FEELS LIKE THERE IS VERY LITTLE PRESSURE IN THE LINE. BLED AIR FROM BRAKES AS REQUIRED IAW MM 32-42-00. LEAK AND TAXI CHECKED GOOD.
RIGHT ELEVATOR OTBD ATTACH POINT BRACKET CRACKED. R & R RT ELEVATOR OTBD ATTACH POINT BRACKETS IAW SRM 51-40-03, 51-40-06, 51-40-09 & BALANCED IAW SRM 51-60-02.
ON LANDING ROLLOUT BRAKES GRABBED MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE SLOWING TO TAXI SPEED, WHEN BRAKING BECAME NORMAL. VISUALLY INSPECTED BRAKES AND TIRES FOR WEAR AND DEFECTS. NO DEFECTS NOTED. NO DOLLS EYES TRIPPED ON FAULT DISPLAY UNIT IN NOSE COMPARTMENT. PERFORMED ANTI SKID SELF TEST PER MM 32-42-00 STEPS C6 AND 7. PER GROUND TEST AND ANTI SKID TEST. NO DEFECTS NOTED. CREW PERFORMED HIGH SPEED TAXI OVER 80 KTS, NO GRABBING NOTED. AIRCRAFT BRAKING SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD.
DURING A PHASE 104 INSPECTION, FOUND THE SUPPORT BRACKET CRACKED. CRACK IS ABOUT 1.5 INCHES LONG AND IS CENTERED AT THE ATTACH POINT FOR THE VALVE. SERVICE CONDITION REPORT HAS BEEN FILED WITH MFG UNDER SCR NR 376160. (K)
DURING A PHASE 1-4 INSP, FOUND THE SUPPORT BRACKET CRACKED, CRACK IS LOCATED IN THE SUPPORT BRACKET FOR THE ECU, THE CRACK INTERSECTS A HOLE FOR THE NUTPLATE THAT ATTACHES ONE OF THE ECU MOUNTING BOLTS. SERVICE CONDITION REPORT HAS BEEN FILED WITH MFG UNDER SCR# 376154.
LT BRAKE IS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE AIRCRAFT JERKS LT ON EVERY BRAKE APPLICATION. R&R LT BRAKE ASSY IAW MM 32-42-01. INSTALLED LT WHEEL ASSY IAW MM 32-41-02, BLED BRAKES IAW MM 32-42-00, LEAK CHECK AND OPS CHECK GOOD.
DURING A ROUTINE CABLE REPLACEMENT OF AILERON CABLE PN 6660002-12, WE FOUND THAT THE CABLE HAD A SWAGED BALL AND A CLEVIS END INSTALLED. THIS CABLE ASSY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH THE SWAGED BALL WITHOUT THE CLEVIS. THE CABLE ASSY HAS BEEN SENT BACK TO MFG FOR EVALUATION. AN SCR AND PHOTO HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO MFG UNDER NR 354900.

REPLACED ANTI-SKID RELAY WITH NEW P/N: MS2416602, REMOVED RELAY P/N: MS2416602. BLED ANTISKID BRAKE SYSTEM AND SERVICED BRAKE SYSTEM TO FULL. BRAKES OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. ALL WORK IAW MM 32-42-00, 32-44-00.
UPON SHUTDOWN , SUFFICENT SMOKE FROM RT MAIN GEAR. SMOKE PERSISTED FOR 15 MIN. REMOVED RT MAIN WHEEL AND INSP WHEEL AND BRAKE ASSY FOUND EXCESSIVE GREASE ON INSIDE OF WHEEL, CLEANED GREASE AND FOUND SMALL SUPERFICIAL BURN MARKS. REINSTALLED RT MAIN WHEEL IAW MM 32-41-02.
(LO HYD FLOW RT) ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED ON TAKEOFF ROLL AT 40 KNOTS. NO SECONDARY INDICATIONS. ABORTED TAKEOFF. REMOVED AND REPLACED R/H LO HYD. FLOW CHECK VALVE WITH A NEW UNIT. PERFORMED OPS TEST. CHECKED SATISFACTORY NO LEAKS NOTED. I.AW. CE-560XL M.M. CHAPTER 29-11-04.
HORIZONTAL STAB MOVED NORMALLY UPON FLAP RETRACTION AFTER TAKEOFF. AT 16000 FT AND LEVEL FLIGHT 280 KNOTS, "STAB MISCOMPARE" AND "HYD PRESS" ANNUNCIATORS CAME ON. ADJUSTED UP AND DOWN LIMIT SWITCHES IAW 560XL MM CHP. 27-40-00. PERFORMED T/O WARNING SYS AND HORIZONTAL STAN OPS CHECKS IAW MM CHP 27-40-00. ALL SYSTEMS OPS CHECKED GOOD.
IN CRUISE, AT FL300 "STAB MIS COMP" AND "HYD PRESS" ANNUNCIATORS ILLUMINATED. CONNECTED AIR DATA TEST SET AND PERFORMED FULL "TWO POSITION HORIZONTAL STAB OPERATIONAL CHECK" AND "AIRSPEED SWITCH AND HORIZONTAL STAB OPS CHECK" IAW CH 27-40-00 OF THE CE-560XL MM. NO DEFECTS NOTED. DISCONNECTED TEST EQUIPMENT.
AFTER TAKEOFF WHEN GEAR WAS SELECTED UP ALL GREEN LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED THEN RED LIGHT EXTINGUISHED FOLLOWED BY NOSE GEAR GREEN LIGHT COMING ON WITH NOISE OF NOSE GEAR DOWN RECYCLED GEAR WITH SAME RESULT. REPLACE NLG ACTUATOR AND NLG UPLOCK ACTUATOR OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS WERE GOOD. MAINTENANCE IAW CE560 XL MM CH 32-30-03.
WHEN THE GEAR WAS SELECTED UP AFTER TAKEOFF THE GEAR LIGHTS SEQUENCED OUT AS NORMAL THEN NOSE GEAR GREEN LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND STAYED ON . AIR NOISE FROM GEAR CONFIRMED THAT NOSE GEAR SELECTED DOWN AND OBTAINED 3 GREENS. INSPECTED NOSE GEAR UPLOCK IAW M/M TASK NR 32-30-05-210. NO DEFECTS FOUND. CHECKED NOSE GEAR SHOCK STRUT FOR CURRENT LENGTH. CHECKED NORMAL. CYCLED LANDING GEAR 20 TIMES TO OPS CHECK LANDING GEAR AND RELATED INDICATOR LIGHTS FOR CORRECT OPERATION. OPS CHECK IS NORMAL.
AFTER LIFT OFF EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FWD CONTROL PRESSURE REQUIRED FOR NORMAL CLIMB. AIRCRAFT ALMOST WANTED TO ROTATE BY ITSELF. THROUGHOUT FLIGHT, TRIM INDICATOR AT OR ABOVE FWD END OF WHOLE RANGE MARKINGS. UPON INSPECTION OF TRIM WHEEL FOUND TRIM POINTER IN THE WRONG GROVE. LOOSENED TRIM WHEEL REPOSITIONED TRIM WHEEL POINTER IAW 560MM 27-32-01. PERFORMED ELEVATOR TRIM TAB TRAVEL CHECK. CHECK GOOD. CHECKED T/O RANGE TRAVELS, CHECK GOOD. PERFORMED ELECTRIC TRIM TIME CHECK.CHECK GOOD. ADJUSTED TAKEOFF BAND PROX SWITCH, OP'S CHECK GOOD. CLOSED ACCESS PANEL, WORKED IAW 560XL MM CH 27-32-01.
THROUGH 110 KTS ON TAKEOFF ROLL FULL AFT ELEVATOR DID NOT INITIATE ROTATION TAKEOFF ABORTED. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
AIRCRAFT REQUIRES EXCESSIVE EFFORT FOR RUDDER CONTROL IN HIGH POWER SETTINGS ON GROUND AND INFLIGHT "AIRSPEED IS NOT AN ISSUE". FEELS AS IF YAW DAMPER IS ON, SUSPECT RUDDER BIAS SYSTEM. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
AFTER LANDING, DURING TAXI ANTISKID INOP AND LO BRAKE PRESS ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. BRAKES FELT HARD AND INEFFECTIVE BUT DID NOT GO TO THE FLOOR, USED EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP AIRCRAFT ON TAXIWAY. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
