PILOT REPORTED SMOKE OBSERVED FROM SIDE PANEL. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED ANTI-COLLISION CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH AND WIRING, FOUND SWITCH INOP AND WIRE INSULATION BURNT ON LOAD SIDE OF SWITCH. REPAIRED DAMAGED ANTI-COLLISION LIGHT SWITCH WIRE IAW 402C WDM CHAPTER 20-10-01 AND REPLACED ANTI COLLISION CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH IAW MM 24-50-00.
DURING MAINTENANCE A CRACK WAS DISCOVERED ON THE LEFT HAND CLOSEOUT RIB LOCATED AT LEFT WING STATION 106.79. THIS CRACK STARTS AT A HOLE IN THE FORWARD ROW OF FASTENERS COMMON TO THE AFT TRUNION SUPPORT AND EXTENDS FORWARD APPROXIMATELY .900 IN. THIS RIB WILL BE REPLACED USING NEW PARTS.
PILOT REPORTED THE RIGHT ENGINE SHUTDOWN IN FLIGHT. OPEN
WHILE IN CRUISE, THE RT RUDDER PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR, FULL FORWARD. THE PILOT DID NOT HAVE ANY RUDDER AUTHORITY, BUT THE AIRCRAFT REMAINED IN STRAIGHT AND LEVEL FLIGHT. DIVERTED AND LANDED SAFELY WITH NO ISSUES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNABLE TO TAXI FROM THE RUNWAY. INSPECTION REVEALED THE RT RUDDER TORQUE TUBE HAD CRACKED AND FAILED AT THE WELD INTERSECTION OF RT PILOT RUDDER PEDAL. OPEN
WHILE PREPPING THE LOWER NACELLE SKIN FOR SID 57-10-16 NDT INSPECTION, TWO CRACKS WERE IDENTIFIED IN THE LT OUTBOARD NACELLE FITTING.
PILOT REPORTED SHUDDERING AND VIBRATION FROM LEFT ENGINE. UPON INSPECTION MAINTENANCE FOUND THE CYLINDER ROTOCOIL BROKEN. CYLINDER WAS REPLACED, ADDITIONAL DETAILS TO BE CONVEYED UPON TEARDOWN ANALYSIS.
AT SCHEDULED INSPECTION, NLG DRAG BRACE, PN 5142002-5 WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED IN THE AREA OF NLG ACTUATOR ATTACH POINT. METHOD OF INSPECTION WAS DYE PENETRANT. THIS CRACK WAS FOUND TO BE BEYOND LIMIT ALLOWABLE OF MEB91-11R1. THIS UNIT HAS BEEN SCRAPPED & A REPLACEMENT DRAG BRACE HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN ACFT.

CREW REPORTED, IN CRUISE, STRONG ELECTRIAL SMELL IN COCKPIT. CREW DIVERTED. MX INSPECTED ACFT, R & R OVERHEATED CABIN HEATER FAN HIGH - LOW RESISTOR. SYS CHECKS OK. ACFT RELEASED BACK TO SERVICE.
PILOT NOTICED FUEL SMELL IN COCKPIT DURING HEATER START UP AND SHUT DOWN, WHEN BRINGING AIRCRAFT TO FLEET CENTER AT END OF NIGHT. MAINTENANCE FOUND PUMP OUTLET FITTING LEAKING. MAINTENANCE TIGHTENED FUEL PUMP OUTLET FITTING AND AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE REMOVED AND REPLACED HEATER FUEL LINE. LEAK CHECKED AND OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD.
PILOT REPORTED RPM/POWER LOSS, SHUT ENGINE AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE, RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AIRPORT.
AVIONICS CIRCUIT BREAKER FAILED IN THE ON POSITION.
CREW REPORTED AVIONICS MASTER SWITCH INOP. MX CHANGED CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH.
AFTER LANDING, ON ROLLOUT, AIRCRAFT STARTED VEERING TO THE LEFT. CREW WAS UNABLE TO STRAIGHTEN OR TURN RIGHT EVEN WITH DIFFERENTIAL POWER OR RT RUDDER. AIRCRAFT WAS SHUTDOWN ON RUNWAY. TOWED TO HANGER. MECHANIC UNABLE TO DUPLICATE CONDITION, REMOVED AND REPLACED LT WHEEL AND BOTH BRAKE ASSEMBLIES AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE. TAXI CHECK, OK.
CREW REPORTED AVIONICS MASTER SWITCH INOPERATIVE ON PREFLIGHT. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED SWITCH AND RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. (PTRS-2001B5540)
